The story revolves around Maran (Kishore), who works in a bakery. He and his wife (Latha Rao) are searching for a house to rent. A shady broker (Scissor Manohar) gets Maran a house under his budget, but he has to face the sanctions of the house owner (Bala Singh) if he wants to stay in the house. The house owner will only allow a family of four, but Maran has three children, making it five members in his family, including him and his wife. Maran has no other option, so he lies to the house owner and hides one of his kids in the box which he uses to load his bakery goods..
Devaraj (Vinod), a gangster, is hired to steal a bag from a house, and he delegates this task to his underlings, Varadhu (AP Shreethar), Rathna (Raj Bharath), Ritchie (Madhivanan Rajendran) and Sethu (Balaji). Varadhu, who has just broken up with his girlfriend (who has insulted him for being a nobody), finds out that the bag has crores of cash and decides that this could be his moment to get rich. The four criminals scoot away with the bag to a remote village, where they take refuge under Janardhanan (Amarendran), an elderly man whose family were once zamindars, and Bala (Tejaswini), his young wife(Mithra Kurian). During their stay, Rathna and Bala begin an affair, and Arasi (Pooja Devariya), Richie’s girlfriend, also enters the scene. She causes a problem between Richie and his gang causing the couple to break up. Devaraj tracks them down and in a freak accident, becomes paralyzed. Janardhanan dies in a hunting trip and Bala is united with Rathna. They all start a hotel by the name of Andhra Mess in Janadhanan’s property.
Vithi Mathi Ulta
Aadhi, played by Rameez Raja, was helping his father, in running a mobile phone shop, with no big aim in life. One day, he met Divya, a college girl and fell in love instantly. On the day when he was planning to propose, both of them were kidnapped by two gangs for different reasons. When Aadhi, Divya and their family members got killed by a gangster, Aadhi woke up to realize that what he witnessed was a terrible nightmare and felt relaxed. But his happiness was short-lived, as he started to realize that his dream was slowly shaping into a horrible reality. Did he avoid the inevitable end? That’s rest of the story.

Merku Thodarchi Malai revolves around the life and times of a group of landless workers living along the foothills of the Western Ghats. It depicts the good-hearted village people and shows how the introduction of commercialization creates conflict in the village.
Rangasamy (Antony) is a daily wage laborer who makes a living carrying cardamom sacks from the mountains to the foothills in the interior of Tamil Nadu. Chacko, a communist from Kerala, unionizes these workers to prevent the estate owner from exploiting them. As a result, there are frequent clashes between the landlord and union members.
Two odd ball characters, a youngster named Jude and the other, a talented singer named Crystal. When these two characters come together, their lives undergo several changes, leading to love, self-discovery, healing and transformation.
Tik Tik Tik
An asteroid strikes the Ennore neighborhood of Chennai. Astronauts predict that another asteroid will hit India within six days. The R&AW decides to send Vasu (Jayam Ravi), a trained magician and escape artist, along with his team and a team of scientists to get ahold of a missile in a space center, which they plan to use to destroy the asteroid. The military also catches Venkat (Ramesh Thilak) and Appu (Arjunan), two of Vasu’s friends. Vasu, Venkat, and Appu are alerted about the asteroid, and they have to steal a nuclear missile from a Chinese space station. The mission is disguised as a satellite maintenance project. Vasu meets Swathi (Nivetha Pethuraj) and Raguram (Vincent Asokan), two army officials who are going on the mission with them. Vasu, Swathi, Venkat, Appu, and Raguram go on the space shuttle Dhruva-1. Just before launch, Vasu’s speech channel is directed to an unknown voice, which tells Vasu that he has kidnapped his son Ravi (Aarav Ravi), who will die unless Vasu gives the missile to him, and Vasu agrees. While in flight, Vasu goes unconscious, and Swathi and Venkat take him to the sick bay. There, Vasu wakes up and goes into the wire chamber to cut the wire that controls the liquid hydrogen fuel tank. Vasu actually faked going unconscious due to directions from the unknown voice. Vasu cuts the wire, and the fuel tank loses much of its fuel.
Vasudev Shastri (Utkarsh Sharma) is a topper yet charming man who comes into IIT where the second ranker, Nandini (Ishitha Chauhan), decides to make his life hell. But Vasu is smart and in love with her to be outmaneuver. Besides being the friendly ‘genius’ around campus, he has also got a part-time job working with RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) where his hacking talents are occupied.Vasu was orphaned when his parents were killed in communal riots. He was found by a priest who raised him in a temple complex in Mathura. The life-positive Vasu is the one we see in flashback. In the present, Vasu dresses in all-black, uses a walking stick and suffers from acute tinnitus. This troubled, damaged Vasu is the one who survived multiple bullet wounds during a high-level mission. Special agent Vasu heads a division of RAW called TOCSI, which was tracking public enemy number one, simply referred to as MRS (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). MRS had the ambition of insulting Jaishankar Prasad(Mithun Chakraborty) and thus he wanted Vasu to slap him in public. However at the end, MRS fails in his Vrindavan temple blast and finally Vasu kills MRS by drowning him in River.
Rachana (Samantha Akkineni), an intern with The Times of India, is working on an article on the incidents at a flyover (Hyderabad flyover in Telugu, Velachery flyover in Tamil). She also has a crush on the crime reporter Aditya (Rahul Ravindran), whose help she seeks for research material on accidents on the flyover. She finds that each day some motorists move the concrete blocks that partition the road just to take a quick U-turn and avoid the traffic. They don’t move them back and the blocks are left to lie randomly on the road leading to many accidents. A homeless man sitting on the flyover notes down the vehicle numbers of commuters who violate the rule to take the U-turn and gives the list to Rachana. She obtains the details of the culprits using her contact in the traffic department, with the intention of confronting them for their “short-cut” and writing an article for the paper. Her attempt to meet the first person on the list goes in vain. Later the same day, the police take her into custody and accuse her of killing the same person she wanted to meet. She is shocked and tells her side of the story. Though the senior police officer rejects it, sub-inspector Nayak (Aadhi Pinisetty), finds it believable and does some investigation. It is revealed that all the persons Rachana has on her list have committed suicide. They also noticed that they have committed suicide the same day they took the wrong “u-turn”. Rachana and Nayak find another number has been noted by the homeless man which is to be delivered to Rachana the next day. The duo trace the address and try to rescue the man, a lawyer, who has taken the u-turn on the same day. As nothing seems suspicious, both leave only to encounter the very death of the lawyer whom they came to rescue.
The story opens in the British India reign, where a British man and porter are trying to catch a ferry. On the way, however, one of the suitcases being carried by the porter falls and opens, revealing many diamonds. The porter steals some of the diamonds and sends the gentleman on his way. He hides these diamonds in a trunk, which he buries near a temple in the Gulaebaghavali village. The story then shifts to 2018, where Badri (Prabhu Deva) and his boss Nambi (Mansoor Ali Khan) perform petty thefts. While at a pub, Badri spots Viji (Hansika Motwani) and falls for her. Soon, Badri unknowingly accepts to steal a priceless statue from the temple at Gulaebagavali and runs into Viji. The duo escapes from the villagers. With some help from Munish (Ramdoss) and Maasha (Revathi), they steal the trunk, which reveals a skeleton. After a lot of confusion, the trunk is delivered, where it is revealed that the diamonds are stored in the skeleton. The police comes to the spot and finds that the diamonds were very valuable. After they escape from the police, it is revealed that during the fight, a hand of the skeleton fell in Maasha’s car. On finding this out and how Maasha tried to deceive the other three, the trio chases her. A parallel storyline involves Mayilvaganam (Sathyan) and a don Annachi (Rajendran), which culminates in the climax.
Pichaimoorthy (Ram), a barber, being forced by his wife, Subathra (Poorna), to accompany her and their two kids, to meet her brother, Raghu, who has eloped with a girl from an effluent family. They need to get the two of them married before the girl’s parents interfere. However, en route, Pichai gets into a skirmish with Manga (Mysskin), a gangster who is out on parole and has to go to prison by that evening. An enraged Manga swears that he will chop off the former’s limb by sundown. Pichai runs all over the city to escape from Mange and his gang. Can Pichai survive the day? The film ends with an inspirational message that knife must be used only to cut the umbilical cord between a mother&baby and not to harm people.
Vasu “Nithin” is a well-educated youth who belongs to a joint family. He falls in love with Sri(Raashi Khanna) and confronts her father “Prakash Raj” about his love. On the other hand, Sri’s father is a rich businessman who does not believe in old-school formalities of marriage and traditions. The rest of the story is as to how Vasu takes things into his hands and makes his wedding happen on a traditional note by changing Sri’s father’s mindset.
Kattu Paya Sir Intha Kaali
Major Kathiravan (Vishal) is a military official who, with the hope of resuming his job, is working on anger management issues under chief psychiatrist Rathi Devi (Samantha Akkineni). Upon hearing his flashback, she counsels him to go to his village and spend time with his father (Delhi Ganesh) & sister (Darshana Rajendran). As a proof, she orders him to upload a picture daily on social media. Kathiravan, who hates his father due to his habit of borowing money , reluctantly does this and posts every picture on Facebook. Soon, he finds out about his sister’s love affair and wants to get her married to the lover, but his sister orders Kathiravan to stay away from her personal zone as he was never a responsible brother. Kathiravan realizes his mistake and finds out the truth that his sister’s future mother-in-law demands them to bear the marriage expenses which will cost around 10 lakhs totally. He promises to fulfill his sister’s wish.
Inba Twinkle Lilly
Inba’s college going granddaughter Ashmitha is suffering from a serious health problem and she is in need of money costing to amount of about 6 lakhs. Inba along with her close friends Twinkle and Lilly cooperate together to raise money and while depositing money in the bank, they end up losing it due to bank robbery led by a terrorist (Mansoor Ali Khan) and his gang. The bank manager (Chithra Lakshmanan) refuses to help the trio as the money was not deposited at the time of the robbery. Then they find themselves in under tremendous pressure to raise money to rescue Ashmitha and the grannies hatch a plan to rob the bank where they lost their money along with China (Manobala). Then police and media covers the bank. After a lot of struggle they come out safely. Afterwards they get to know Ashmita has no disease but is stuck in a big problem. The problem is a gang which takes bad videos of women and asks money. But the video of ashmita is uploaded for not giving money. How they save Ashmita’s life forms the rest of the plot.
The movie begins with Jeeva (Sketch) narrating his story. His uncle used to tow and bring back vehicles for which the monthly EMI had not been paid. However, during a fight, he loses his hand, and Sketch gets the job. Sketch does his day-to-day job perfectly. His uncle’s right-hand Ravi wanted to take over the business. However, Bhaskar Settu (Boss) agrees with Sketch coming up to the position. One day at a college, Sketch tows a scooter that belonged to Manju, Ammu’s friend. Another day, he happens to meet her on a bus. When some other guy tries to touch her, Sketch bats away his hand. At the same time, the bus stops quickly, causing Sketch to bump into Ammu. She mistakes this as him trying to make advances on her and yells at him. Only later does she realize he was trying to protect her, and she falls in love with him. One day, Sketch loses a bike while bringing it back to the garage. The owner gets angry and demands 2 lakhs from Settu. Sketch realizes this was a plot by Ravi to embarrass him. He faces them to get back the stolen bike and the money.
A serial killer (Anurag Kashyap) disrupts peace in Bengaluru by kidnapping. He goes by the name of the highly notorious serial killer Rudra, who was announced dead five years ago. After another such case, in which the CBI are involved headed by Anjali (Nayanthara), he goes live and declares himself as the deceased Rudra. He insists that Rudra is still alive and announces that he is now back in action. Anjali, who dealt with the earlier case of Rudra, is appointed to deal with him.
In a parallel storyline, Anjali’s brother Arjun (Atharvaa) is facing a rough phase in his relationship. The film flashes back to his life with his lover Krithika Rao (Raashi Khanna) and how they eventually break up. To make it up to her, he, with his friend Vinoth (Ramesh Thilak), travels to Bangalore to meet her and enters the deadly scene between Rudra and Anjali. The cat-and-mouse game gets too intense when Rudra brings Arjun into the game by kidnapping Krithika and demanding a ransom from her father. In an effort to save Krithika, Arjun follows Rudra’s orders and gets framed as “Rudra”, making things much more complicated for him. Anjali is suspended, and Officer Narayan (Devan) takes over the case.
Pariyerum Perumal narrates the story of a youth hailing from Puliyankulam village near Tirunelveli. Pariyan (Kathir) belongs to an oppressed caste. The movie begins with the brutal murder of his beloved black dog ‘Karuppi’ (Lit. Blackie in Tamil). The canine hunting companion of Pariyan is the first one we see becoming a victim of caste hegemony.
Pariyan moves on to secure a seat in a law college, where he wishes to become a lawyer like B. R. Ambedkar. He meets Jothi Mahalakshmi alias Jo (Anandhi), a naive girl from Ambasamudram who takes it upon herself to teach English to Pariyan. She eventually falls for his innocence and honesty. This newfound friendship irks Sankaralingam (Lingesh), a fellow law student and Jo’s cousin. He awaits a chance to teach a lesson to Pariyan and establish his caste superiority. He does so while the blissfully unaware Jo invites Pariyan to a family wedding.
A RPF railway officer Williams (Aruldoss) is miffed and frustrated regarding the fact that the public did not respect the RPF cops. He decides to bring in strict rules and asks his subordinates not to show mercy towards defaulters who make offences and for those who mess up with the railway rules. With the help of his team, he nabs many passengers who violate rules in different ways, which include peeing on railway tracks and travelling on train without a ticket. On the other hand, Sathya (Sachin Mani) is a jobless man who falls in love with a girl called Megala (Nandita Swetha), who is from a rich family and holds a job for herself. Megala also falls in love with him, which was not tolerated by her father and suddenly arranges for a marriage to his daughter. When Sathya gets to know about this, he urgently prepared himself to travel by train from Pondicherry to Puducherry in order to convince Megala from the arranged marriage and to marry her, but his dreams were spoilt by Williams as he was arrested by cops on his way for committing an offence and was taken into custody at Tambaram railway station. Then he meets prisoners Baskar (Sendrayan), Kunjitha Badham (Manobala), Kutti Puli (Arunraja Kamaraj), Sathish (Appukutty), and Kodeeswaran (Mayilsamy) and narrates his love story to them. After being impressed by the story, the prisoners hatch a plan to help Sathya to escape from police custody.
Quite annoyed with the troubles of living the life of a lower middle-class person, Sathya (Jai) decides to go to any extent to make money to run his family. Along with his friend Paari (Daniel Annie Pope), he meets Samuel (Ilavarasu), who promises to provide him money if he can forge documents. Sathya and Paari open a travel company and start dreaming of a happy life. However, a cop (Bose Venkat) who knows about the fake documents threatens to put them in jail if they fail to arrange a sum of ₹10 lakh in two days. Sathya sends his family away and starts searching for money with Paari. Gajendran (Robo Shankar), a rich man who is madly in love with Keerthy (Reba Monica John), offers to give them the money if they help him succeed in his romance. However, circumstances force Sathya to kidnap Keerthy, which earns him the wrath of a human trafficking group.
Vaishnavi (Trisha) is a popular chef in India. Her friend’s fiancé Cotton (Yogi Babu) is stuck in a situation that demands him to go to London to work as a chef, but he is not qualified. He asks Vaishnavi to accompany him to pose as an assistant and help him secure the job. Vaishnavi agrees and travels to London with Cotton and a relative Balki (Swaminathan). They stay with Ganesh (Ganeshkar) and his wife Madhu (Jangiri Madhumitha) and work at a restaurant. Vaishnavi meets Sandeep (Jackky Bhagnani) there, and they fall in love.
One day, on a boating trip in a river, Vaishnavi injures herself and washes off her blood in the water. This triggers the vengeful spirit of a dead woman at the bottom of the river. She possesses Vaishnavi, who goes on a killing spree. Her friends experience numerous paranormal occurrences and find that Vaishnavi is possessed. The spirit turns out to be Mohini (Trisha), a lookalike of Vaishnavi. Meanwhile, Sandeep proposes to Vaishnavi, and they get engaged. They meet Sandeep’s mother Menaka (Poornima Bhagyaraj) and his father Vicky/KVR (Mukesh Tiwari). Mohini is enraged seeing him, and this reminds her of why she was killed.
The film begins seven years later after the events which occurred in the prequel Sandakozhi. Balu (Vishal) arrives from New York City seven years later to his birthplace. He and his father Durai Ayya (Rajkiran) have to protect a young man from a woman who has sworn vengeance on his entire clan. Balu and Durai are often compared to a couple of lions, and the two characters behave so. This is why when Pechi (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) and the men in her family try to hunt down Anbu (Johny Hari), the last male in a clan they have sworn revenge against, because of her husband’s live murder in front of the whole village, but they are unable to do anything. Meanwhile, Balu falls for Sembaruthi (Keerthy Suresh), a village damsel, after losing his loved one seven years ago, Hema (Meera Jasmine). The rest of the film shows how Balu deals with his ups and downs of his family problems given by Pechi and the massive hospitalization of his father after a slit in his throat.
60 Vayathu Maaniram
The film revolves around Govindarajan (Prakash Raj), a 60-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. One day, he suddenly goes missing. His son Shiva (Vikram Prabhu), who is worried by his father’s disappearance, embarks on a search with a female doctor (Indhuja). Govindarajan gets entangled with Ranga (Samuthirakani), a killer who has committed a murder. The rest of the film involves whether Shiva finds his father or not.
