In Coimbatore, collector Anthony (Pramoth) is in a hospital where is wife Jenny Anthony (Sindhuja) gives birth to a boy, who he told died moments after being born. Anthony is convinced by the hospital chaplain head doctor Philips (V. Gopalakrsihnan) to secretly adopt an orphan whose mother died at the same time. Anthony agrees, but does not reveal to his wife that the child is not theirs. They name the child as Damien Anthony. Soon after, Anthony is appointed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s private secretary. When Damien reaches the age of five, Anthony is transferred to Madras. Mysterious events plague the Anthonys: large black dogs congregate near the Anthony home; Damien’s nanny publicly hangs herself at his 5th birthday party; a new nanny Mrs. Elizabeth (Indradevi) arrives unannounced to replace her; the five-year-old Damien violently resists entering a church; and zoo animals are terrified of Damien.

Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae
Vasu (Jiiva) is a house broker who sells houses by using tricks with his friend Sooranam (Soori). He has a pet dog named Scooby. Vasu and his mother Parvathy (Raadhika) are living in her brother’s (Ilavarasu) house for rent. Vasu and his parents had lived in houses for rent throughout their lives. After Vasu’s father’s (Uday Mahesh) death, he took a vow of buying a bungalow on the outskirts. After some years, Vasu buys the bungalow and enters the house with his whole family. He later finds that there was a family that had lived there earlier. Jambulingam (Thambi Ramaiah) lived there with his wife (Devadarshini), mother, and daughters. He refused to move out of the house, so Vasu decides to live there until he finds the owner who cheated him. Vasu and Jambulingam’s daughter Shwetha (Sri Divya) fall in love with each other. Vasu and Sooranam try some ghost tricks to chase Jambulingam’s family out of the house

Muni
Ganesh (Raghava Lawrence), a young man with a deep fear of ghosts who refuses go out after 6PM, moves into a new house with his mother (Kovai Sarala), father (Vinu Chakravarthy), and wife Priya (Vedhicka). All of a sudden, Ganesh gets possessed by a ghost and starts behaving in a rude manner; his family could not understand his behavior, so they seek the help of a priest Andaiyar (Nassar). Andaiyar asks the ghost about his whereabouts. The ghost says he is Muniyaandi (Rajkiran) and starts saying his flashback. Muni was a kindhearted, poor man living in the slums with his daughter and other people. His friend is MLA Marakka Dhandapani (Dhandapani), who uses Muni to make him win in elections and promises he would give lands to the poor villagers. Dhandapani wins the election but cheats Muni. Muni fights with Dhandapani, but Dhandapani kills him and his daughter. Dhandapani lies to the poor people, saying Muni and his daughter fled with the money he had given Muni for the welfare of the village residents. Ganesh enters Dhandapani’s household and terrorizes him and his assistants. Dhandapani comes to know that Muni’s spirit resides in Ganesh’s body, so he gets a shaman Mastan Bai (Rahul Dev) to save his life. Bhai bargains with Muni, who agrees to let Dhandapani go if he repents and helps the poor villagers. In the climax, at Ayyanaar temple, Dhandapani confesses to the people that he killed Muni and his daughter. He then leaves money with the villagers. Muni talks with the people and eats the feast prepared by them. Bhai tells Muni to leave Ganesh’s body, and he does. However, Dhandapani lied and was planning to get back all his money from the villagers. Ganesh, upon hearing this, kills Dhandapani. Bhai sees this act but does nothing, as he sees the injustice done by Dhandapani.

Massu Engira Masilamani
The film starts with the murder of a former Police Commissioner Shanmuga Sundaram (Subbu Panchu) by an escaped prisoner Kamal Ekambaram (Riyaz Khan). The story then shifts to Masilamani aka Massu (Suriya) and his friend Jet Li aka Jettu (Premgi Amaren) who are small-time con artists. Massu meets Manini (Nayantara), a nurse, and they subsequently fall in love. While trying to escape after a heist gone wrong, Massu and Jet meet with a car accident, post which Massu starts seeing dead people, with whom he can communicate. Jettu had died in the accident and is now a ghost, too. Massu forms a group of loitering ghosts to earn money by performing fake exorcisms and extorting money from scared, rich people, while promising the ghosts that he would fulfill their last wishes in return. Meanwhile, Manini, who thought Massu was working in a finance company, gets to know about the fake exorcisms and leaves him in a heist.
