Inba Twinkle Lilly
Inba’s college going granddaughter Ashmitha is suffering from a serious health problem and she is in need of money costing to amount of about 6 lakhs. Inba along with her close friends Twinkle and Lilly cooperate together to raise money and while depositing money in the bank, they end up losing it due to bank robbery led by a terrorist (Mansoor Ali Khan) and his gang. The bank manager (Chithra Lakshmanan) refuses to help the trio as the money was not deposited at the time of the robbery. Then they find themselves in under tremendous pressure to raise money to rescue Ashmitha and the grannies hatch a plan to rob the bank where they lost their money along with China (Manobala). Then police and media covers the bank. After a lot of struggle they come out safely. Afterwards they get to know Ashmita has no disease but is stuck in a big problem. The problem is a gang which takes bad videos of women and asks money. But the video of ashmita is uploaded for not giving money. How they save Ashmita’s life forms the rest of the plot.

Madras
Kaali (Karthi) is an impulsive and short-tempered working class man who works in an IT company and enjoys playing football during his free time. His best friend is Anbu (Kalaiyarasan), who is a young political aspirant. They along with their gang live in the dilapidated flats of the housing board in Vyasarpadi, North Chennai. In a long-standing bloody feud, two factions of a political party have been laying claim to a wall on which they can paint the portraits of their respective political leaders. Anbu, under the local leader of one of the opposing parties, Maari (Charles Vinoth), is determined to claim that wall for their own party. The other party chief is Kannan (Poster Nandakumar) and his son Perumal (Mime Gopi) who are hell bent in making sure that their opponents efforts go in vain. The painting of Kannan’s father’s face has been on the wall for two decades, since the start of the feud. The two parties and their supporters get into frequent clashes and scrapes. In the meantime, Kaali falls in love with Kalaiarasi (Catherine Tresa), and she too reciprocates his feelings.

Iruvar
Set in the 1950s, the film begins with Anandan (Mohanlal), a struggling actor, seeking opportunities which will give him a big break in the film industry. Under his uncle’s help, Anandan is given an opportunity to audition for the lead role in a forthcoming film. He arrives in the studio and practices his combat skills with sword props provided on the sets while waiting for the director and the crew. At this, he meets Tamizhselvan (Prakash Raj), a small-time writer who enters the studio with some sarcastic poetry and this prompts both into a little debate. The debate turns into a mutual respect for each other, and impressed by Tamizhselvan’s skills, Anandan requests Tamizhselvan to write dialogues for him to recite during the audition.
