Azhagiya Pandipuram
Madhavan (Elango Nagarajah), a young man, lives with his joint family : parents (Manobala and Fathima Babu), brother (Sriman) and sister-in-law (Yuvarani). His family has a feud with their opposite house family (M. S. Bhaskar, Subbu Panchu Arunachalam, Meera Krishnan and Devadarshini). Pambukutty’s daughter Deepika (Anjana Keerthi) was into a boarding school in Ooty for 10 years, where she completes her education and comes back to her native. Deepika’s family decide to get her married off while Keeripulla also wants his son to get married. Soon, Madhavan and Deepika fall in love with each other. What transpires next forms the rest of the story.

Govindudu Andarivadele
Balaraju, the head of his village, lives with his wife Baby, his two sons; Chandrasekhar Rao and Bangari, and his two daughters. He helps Chandrasekhar become a doctor and builds a local hospital. On the day it opens, Chandrasekhar comes back home with his lover Kausalya, also a doctor. Both express their wish to marry, which Balaraju agrees to. But, they also wish to settle abroad, which upsets Balaraju, leading to the separation of the father and son.
25 years later, Chandrasekhar, a successful doctor in London, tells the story to his son Abhiram and daughter Indu. Abhiram decides to go home to Balaraju and attempt a reconciliation. He meets his friend, Bunny, at the airport and goes to the village on Bunny’s bike the next day. On the way, he witnesses a cockfight organised by Bangari and Baachi; he gets the help of Balaraju to pardon Bangari and get Baachi arrested. Abhiram then introduces himself as a student from London who came here to learn agricultural practices and martial arts. He particularly impresses Balaraju’s family when he saves a child’s life and so is allowed to stay with them.

Sergeant Joseph Hoover went to war to preserve the Union. After being captured and sent to a prisoner of war camp, he understood what it was to be kept against his will. Together with a friend he escaped and, aided by slaves, made it to freedom.

Aaranya Kaandam
The film opens with the ageing gangster, Singaperumal, forcing himself on a young girl, Subbu. He is unable to perform, and vents his anger by slapping the helpless Subbu. Singaperumal is the grand don of crime in Madras. His lieutenant, Pasupathi, brings a proposal. A large stash of cocaine, worth about ₹ 2 crore, has entered the city. The guy bringing the stash wants to sell it for ₹ 50 lakh. Pasupathi sees the immediate easy profit, as well as the long term benefit (to control the cocaine market with such a large supply) and the recognition that they are able to pull off such a deal. The drawback is that the stash really belongs to their arch-rival Gajendran. Singaperumal knows that Gajendran is a vicious and unpredictable adversary, and the venture is risky and likely to become messy. He decides to pass. Pasupathi dourly suggests Singaperumal is getting old and rusty. He asks Singaperumal to loan him the ₹ 50 lakh so he can do the job himself. Pasupathi is prepared to face the risks, and in return for the loan, he offers Singaperumal a cut of the profits. Singaperumal agrees to the loan, but, instead asks Pasupathi to first get the stash and then think of the profit distribution. The money for the loan is brought to Singaperumal.

Masani
The movie takes place in a village in the Salem District where various sculptors come to make a statue. The village head (Sarath Babu) and his wife Rajeshwari (Roja) try to bring in sculptors to complete the statue. However, anyone who comes for the job is driven out of the village by a ghost. The villagers decide to entrust the job to another big man Devanna Gounder (Aadukalam Naren). Trouble erupts between the two families. A flashback reveals the reason for this. Vettri (Ramki) and Masaani (Iniya) make their appearances, where the audience learns of their love for one another. Agitated, Rajeshwari kills Vettri. Masaani dies delivering a boy named Vishva (Akhil). Vishva grows up and comes to the village to finish the task.

Veruli
VERULI, as the name indicates scarecrow, the director of the film Amudhavanan throws a sequence of incidents that confuses Ashwin( Abishek) as real accidents. The events and evidence also scares the situation. Series of same events makes Ashwin to think in another angle leading to conclusion. With the help and advice from his peers Ashwin makes youthful activities in twisting the reason. Reporter (Archana Singh)paves way for the investigation in her perception along with her cameraman Shankar(Jayachandran)in a presentable humour. A sequence of humourous facts in between turns the film towards (K.Bhakiyaraj) who narrates the situation and justifies the reason and helps in breaking the suspense.
