Varun is a military doctor who visits Chennai and gets caught up in the pursuit of a missing girl. How Varun and six others take on human/organ trafficking lords forms the rest of the story.

The movie begins with Ramesh (Atharvaa) waking up in a hangover and remembering the events of the previous day. After a breakup with his girlfriend Madhu (Mishti), he drinks a lot along with his friend Nandhu (Karunakaran). On his advice, Ramesh calls for a female escort and sneaks her into his apartment. Ramesh has to step out of his house due to his neighbor Devi’s (Devadarshini) emergency situation. He asks the escort Nina (Anaika Soti) to wait inside his house, promising to come back soon. While he returns, he finds her dead. Ramesh is shocked and tries to find details about her. He sees restaurant receipts in her bag, checks the CCTV footages, and finds that another man Ravi (Prinz Nithik) had accompanied her prior to her meeting him. From her cell phone, he finds her house address, travels to Palakkad, and asks Nandhu to stay behind and guard the dead body. He is not able to find any information from Nina’s family and leaves, but Nina’s sister makes a call to Sekar (John Vijay) and informs him about Ramesh.
A badass cop Vikram leads a special task force formed to eliminate a kickass Vedha’s gang running amok on the streets of Chennai, making a mockery of Law and Order. An encounter planned by a Vikram’s friend Simon, kills Vedha’s trusted aides and brings him out of hiding. Babu is a shepherd with a giant crook, a flourishing ponytail and a dog named Ramu. When criminals Balu and Johnny murder his parents, he swears upon his mother that he will have revenge. Babu trains under the local zamindar, and is revealed to be naturally skilled at marksmanship. After removing his ponytail, dressing himself like a cowboy, equipping himself with the zamindar’s guns and a horse, and with Ramu as his aide, he fulfils his promise.
Dr. Rajkumar, Kanchana, Jayamala and Padmapriya are played the main lead roles along with Vajramuni, Thoogudeepa Srinivas, Balakrishna, Sampath, Bhadrachalam, Chandrashekhar, Shivaprakash, Udayashankar, Prabhakar and many others are seen in supporting roles in this movie.
Amara is a 2014 Tamil language film written, filmed and directed by M. Jeevan. The film was produced by S.A. Jalavudhin who had previously produced Sengathu. Starring Amaran, Sruthi Ramakrishnan and Ashish Vidyarthi, the film released on 28 February 2014.
Kannan and Dass are two famous rowdies in their village. Dass has a sister called Uma with whom Manikkampillai (shortened as ‘Mapillai’) is in love but she is not interested in him. The main singer of that troupe, Sangeetha gets expelled from her home because of this and so Kannan and Dass gives her refuge upon insistence from Uma. Meenakshi is the childhood friend of Kannan with whose father, both Kannan and Dass has enmity.

Rudramadevi was formally designated as a son and given the male name Rudradeva, through the ancient Putrika ceremony. But, during Rudramadevi’s birth, an astrologer predicted that a baby girl is born to rule the kingdom jointly with her father as his co-regent from 1259–60 under the name of Rudradeva Maharaja.
