Raghu and shanti are divorced couple which sparks problems between Suriya(shanti’s brother) and Vijay(Raghu’s brother).

Two honest and bold police officers Adhi Narayanan, (Kamal Hassan) and Abbas (Arjun Sarja) devise a masterful plan to bring a terrorist group in control, and send two secret vigilance officers, named Anand and Shiva on an operation called Operation “Dhanush”. The objective is to infiltrate a terrorist group headed by a man named Badri, and relay information back to Abbas. After a year while relaying information to Abbas, Anand gets caught, but he commits suicide before the terrorists can interrogate him. With information relayed by Anand, Abbas and Adhi know that the terrorists are picking up someone important and going to Trichy.

In a tragic accident, Kathiravan loses his wife and his left leg. A few years later he decides to get a prosthetic leg with the compensation amount. Kathiravan’s life gets more complicated when his daughter Magizh gets hospitalized.

The film begins in a city in Andhra, where the CBI raid a rich local politician’s house. The Chief Officer is shown to be Aadhi (Jayam Ravi), who orders to seize all illegal items found. The politician is arrested, but he requests to come to the CBI office in his own car. It is later revealed that no CBI raid was planned on his house and all that happened was a hoax. The politician gets angry and orders to hunt down the men who cheated him in the name of CBI.
