Balupu
Ravi (Ravi Teja) works as a collection agent of ICICI in Bangalore and leads a happy life along with his friends and his father Mohan Rao (Prakash Raj) who wishes to see Ravi married to a girl soon. Once Ravi rushes to a Hospital where his friend (‘Satyam’ Rajesh) is admitted as he tried to commit suicide by drinking nail polish solution and asks the reason for it. Then he describes about the traits of Shruti (Shruti Haasan) and her uncle Crazy Mohan (Brahmanandam). The duo have a habit of cheating gullible young men including his friend and Ravi decides to teach them a lesson. Ravi enters their life as a gullible youngster and starts torturing them. Crazy Mohan’s plans and attempts always go in vain before him. As a part of their cunning plans, Crazy Mohan advises Shruti to ask Ravi to marry her. As fate would have it, Ravi also comes with a marriage proposal to Shruti. Then the pair approach Mohan Rao and tell him that Ravi is in love with Shruti and that he proposed to her.

Velli Vizha
Bala (Gemini Ganesan) and Bhanu (Jayanthi) are a happily married couple. Everything seems fine till Sheela (Vanisri) enters their lives. Bala is a tennis champion and Sheela claims to be his fan. The family members raise objection to this liaison but Bhanu trusts her husband blindly. Bala takes undue advantage of this trust and continues to meet Sheela on the sly till one day Bhanu stumbles upon the truth. This breach of trust breaks Bhanu which eventually leads to her death. An unrepentant Bala takes this as an opportunity and proposes to marry Sheela. His mother is shattered but gives in to his demands. An elated Bala rushes to Sheela only to find her missing! Was it poetic justice?

Rajadhi Raja
A rich estate owner is killed by his second wife and her brother Aadimoolam (Radharavi). The estate owner’s son Raja (Rajinikanth) returns from the USA and learns of this. In order to bring the culprits to book, he makes his friend Sethupathi (Janagaraj), a rickshaw puller, act as Raja. But soon, Aadimoolam learns of this and kills his own son and frames Raja as the killer. Raja is sentenced to death. In between, Raja loves Senkamalam (Radha), sister of an employee in his estate. in the same village where Raja lives, there exists his lookalike, Chinnaraasu (Rajinikanth again), whose aim in life is to wed his sweetheart Lakshmi (Nadia). Raja escapes from jail, meets Chinnaraasu and makes Chinnaraasu take his place in jail. After many twist and turns, Raja brings the culprits to book. At the end, Raja marries Senkamalam and Chinnarasu marries Lakshmi.

Takkari Donga
The film starts with Shakeel (Rahul Dev) killing his own brother for information, which is also known to Veeru Dada (Kolla Ashok Kumar). In the encounter, Veeru jumps off into a river from a cliff. After 18 years, we have Veeru with a leg cut off giving info to Raja (Mahesh Babu), a mischievous thief who robs banks in style. Raja gives Veeru a share of 50% for all his tip offs. Raja becomes more daring as the price tag on his head increases by thousands. There is another mischievous thief Panasa (Bipasha Basu). She and her uncle follow Raja so she can dupe him and escape with all the looted money. As the things go on a frolicking way between Panasa and Raja, Shakeel is searching for Veeru. Veeru realizes Shakeel will kill him soon. Hence, Veeru offers a big diamond to Raja and asks him to escort his daughter Bhuvana (Lisa Ray) to his brother Dharma’s place.

Aattanayagan
Lingam (Sakthi), the younger son of Nasser, leads life in his own way. He along with his set of friends (which includes Santhanam and ‘Lollu Sabha’ Jeeva) goes around town enjoying. But Lingam’s father is against his ways. He often compares him with his elder brother Chandran (Adhitya Menon), who runs a software firm in Hyderabad and is caring towards the family. Lingam falls in love with Radhika (Ramya Nambeesan) and he decides to make her sister Indira (Meera Vasudevan) enter wedlock with his brother. After their marriage, Chandran takes Indira to Hyderabad. But she comes across a startling truth that Chandran is none but a dreaded don in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh and that had hid this truth to his family. The onus now falls on Lingam to set things right. He promises Indira and Radhika that he would bring his brother back to right ways. But a hindrance to his mission is Boppala Ram Babu (Ravi Kale), who has a score to settle with Chandran. Does Lingam succeeds in his mission or not forms the climax.

Dhilluku Dhuddu
The film is a love story with elements of horror. The protagonist is a man who shows off his bravery and also manages to scare ghosts.

Minions: The Rise of Gru
In the heart of the 1970s, amidst a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru (Steve Carell) is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making back-up from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto – a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please – deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons, and pull off their first missions. When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles (Alan Arkin), Gru interviews to become their newest member. It doesn’t go well (to say the least), and only gets worse after Gru outsmarts them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

Maayavi
Abhes Balayya (Suriya), the guide conman thief, is footloose and fancy-free. He and his acolyte Sathyaraj (Sathyan) have no hangups in life. He is also a huge fan of actor Ajith Kumar. Balayya’s problems start when he and Sathyaraj land up in a huge villa on the beachfront. It is actually actress Jothika’s (Jyothika) house. When they realize it, they want to replace what they have taken. As it happens, the actress catches them and creates a huge issue out of it. For their efforts, they are put behind bars. Jothika does not like Balayya at all. Balayya goes out to take revenge on her and kidnap her. Just about when the whole industry and her family tries to trace Jothika, she understands the real Balayya. In the end, Balayya comes to see her and gives her a gift, which is the photographs they took together.

Vaalu

Azhagana Naatkal
Indu and Chandru (Rambha and Karthik) fall in love. Indu does the disappearing act and Chandru gets engaged to Rekha (Mumtaz). Indu re-appears after three years with a little girl, who she claims is Chandru’s daughter. Chandru vehemently denies it and finding Indu’s presence an embarrassment tries to ferret out the truth. After many scenes of forced comedy, we learn that the girl is the illegitimate daughter of Chandru’s much-married brother, who had seduced Indu’s sister. After his brother’s futile attempt to play the villain, Chandru latches on to Indu fast enough with no apology to Rekha. But it is not really Chandru’s fault. For Rekha had done the disappearing act from the scene early enough without any explanation either.

Junga
The film starts with Inspector Manimaran (Vinoth Munna) taking the job of Don Junga’s (Vijay Sethupathi) encounter, along with Duraisingam (Rajendran). On the way to his encounter, Junga tells his story. Back in Pollachi, he works as a bus conductor and is in love with Thoppuli (Madonna Sebastian). He gets involved in a fight, which angers his mother (Saranya Ponvannan) as his father Ranga and grandfather Linga were dons. They also lost their theatre Cinema Paradise and had to sell it to Kumarasamy Chettiyaar (Suresh Chandra Menon). So his mother fears he will also become a don. Junga tells his mother he will not be a don and will retrieve their ownership of the theatre. He goes to Chennai with Yo Yo (Yogi Babu) and starts saving money towards his goal. He also leaves Thoppuli as she wants him to give her a luxurious life and gift her with 365 sarees for each day of the year. One day, Junga comes to know that the theatre is being brought down and Chettiyaar is planning to sell it to a foreign company. He goes to Chettiyaar’s house and gives him a crore to buy back his theatre, but Chettiyaar insults him. Junga challenges Chettiyaar that he will retrieve back his theatre. He decides to kidnap Chettiyaar’s daughter Yazhini (Sayyeshaa), who is in Paris, so he goes there with Yo Yo, but the Italian mafia group kidnaps Yazhini to release their leader, who was arrested by the French police. Junga tells Chettiyaar he has kidnapped Yazhini and fights with the mafia group to rescue her from them. Yazhini and Junga escape, and Chettiyaar agrees to give Junga’s family the theatre in exchange for Yazhini. Yazhini and Junga later get married.
