Vasu (Santhanam) and Saravanan(Arya) are close buddies who run a mobile shop. But when two girls Seema (Banu) and Aishwarya (Tamannaah) enter their life, life changes. How Vasu and Saravanan struggle to keep their friendship going ?

Kannan and Dass are two famous rowdies in their village. Dass has a sister called Uma with whom Manikkampillai (shortened as ‘Mapillai’) is in love but she is not interested in him. The main singer of that troupe, Sangeetha gets expelled from her home because of this and so Kannan and Dass gives her refuge upon insistence from Uma. Meenakshi is the childhood friend of Kannan with whose father, both Kannan and Dass has enmity.

Kodaivannan and Kolaivannan, of a remote village decide to marry a rich girl. The villagers decide to hold a cricket match. And make a decision to get the girl married to either of the guys based on who wins the cricket match. The ‘good’ hearted Kodaivannan’s team kidnap a cricketer, Sadagoppan Ramesh, while he is on his way to Thekkady. Kolaivannan then hires a greedy big shot coach from Chennai who eyes the big land of the village for his business.
Now, the teams of Kodaivannan and Kolaivannan have one more reason to fight against each other. To save the village, And the latter for the land which the greedy coach demands. Though, at the last, Kodaivannan wins the match successfully with Sadagopan Ramesh’s coaching.
In between, the coach Sadagoppan Ramesh falls in love with that girl whom Kodaivannan and Kolaivannan intend to marry.

The film starts with the murder of a former Police Commissioner Shanmuga Sundaram (Subbu Panchu) by an escaped prisoner Kamal Ekambaram (Riyaz Khan). The story then shifts to Masilamani aka Massu (Suriya) and his friend Jet Li aka Jettu (Premgi Amaren) who are small-time con artists. Massu meets Manini (Nayantara), a nurse, and they subsequently fall in love. While trying to escape after a heist gone wrong, Massu and Jet meet with a car accident, post which Massu starts seeing dead people, with whom he can communicate. Jettu had died in the accident and is now a ghost, too. Massu forms a group of loitering ghosts to earn money by performing fake exorcisms and extorting money from scared, rich people, while promising the ghosts that he would fulfill their last wishes in return. Meanwhile, Manini, who thought Massu was working in a finance company, gets to know about the fake exorcisms and leaves him in a heist.

Jeeva’s (GV Prakash Kumar) life all about two things- booze and women. Apparently Jeeva grows up along with two girls, Ramya (Anandhi) and Aditi (Manisha Yadav). As Jeeva reaches adolescent age, he falls in love with Ramya at school and she too has a soft corner for him. But unfortunately, they separate as Jeeva opens up to his friend about his sexual escapades to his close friend which eventually spreads like a wildfire. Jeeva heads to Kumbakonam to stay with his uncle (VTV Ganesh) who runs a bar. The rest of the film tells us whether Ramya who is in Kumbakonam and Jeeva get reunited or not!
