Bharat Ennum Naan
Bharat Ram (Mahesh Babu), a brilliant but uncertain student with an unquenchable thrist for knowledge, graduates with his 5th degree from Oxford. At his uncle’s (Saakshi Sivaa) house, Bharat comes to learn that his father, Chief Minister of (at the time undivided) Andhra Pradesh Raghava Raju (R. Sarathkumar), was hospitalised and died from a stroke. On a flight to his familial home in Hyderabad, Bharat reminisces about his past.
As a child, Bharat is scolded by his mother (Aamani) for eating ice cream against medical advice, and he promises her he won’t eat it again. Raghava Raju, busy with a new political party (the Navodayam Party) that he and his friend Varadarajulu (Prakash Raj) formed, is shown to be too busy to spend time with his family. After Bharat is found to have eaten ice cream again, his mother reminds him on the importance of promises. The very next day, Bharat finds that she has died in her sleep, causing his father to stay at home to take care of Bharat. Soon after her death, Varadarajulu points out to Raghava Raju that he has to get back outside to prepare for the coming elections and suggests that he remarry to find a new mother for Bharat. However, Bharat is not close to his stepmother (Sithara) and instead spends time at his friend Subash’s house. After Subash’s parents get jobs in London, Bharat wants to come with them. At first his father hesitates, but soon agrees to let them study together.

Isai
Vetriselvan (Sathyaraj) is an established and old-fashioned music director who is loved and respected for his works and is termed as the greatest musician of our times. A. K. Shiva (S. J. Surya), who works as an assistant under Vetriselvan, gets an opportunity to compose music for a small-time film. When he seeks permission from Vetriselvan to go ahead with his first venture as a music director, Vetriselvan does not oppose the idea as he would not have imagined even in his wildest dream that one day, Shiva would surpass him in the musical world. When Shiva introduces new techniques and pioneers the use of synthesizers, his music gets the attention of all music lovers. Due to the freshness and modernity his music possesses, he becomes the most sought after musician and overtakes Vetriselvan. Shiva becomes the number one musician and builds his own studio. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Jenny (Sulagna Panigrahi) and marries her. When it seems everything he touches turns to gold, Vetriselvan displays his psychopathic form. To get his glory back, Vetriselvan does whatever it takes to label Shiva unfit to compose music. Can Shiva bounce back despite his new and unwanted status forms the rest of the story.

Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja
The film starts in 1796, four years after the occupation of Malabar by the British East India Company and towards the end of the First Pazhassi Revolt (1793–1797). The revolt is led by Kerala Varma (Mammootty), the Raja of Pazassi Palace, of Kottayam house. The exploitation of the native Indian resources by the Company had culminated in popular revolts against its authority across the district. With the help of Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja’s uncle Kurumbranadu ruler Veeravarma (Thilakan), who is jealous of Pazhassi Raja for his success and influence, and Raja’s old companion Pazhayamveedan Chandhu (Suman), the Company act against Pazhassi Raja. This forces Pazhassi Raja to escape to the forests of Wayanad. The tribal force led by Neeli captures Assistant Collector Thomas Hervey Baber (Harry Key) and his fiancée Dora (Linda Arsenio) in the jungle, in spite of his commander’s objection. The Raja treats Thomas Baber and Dora as his guest and releases them.

Jaisurya
Based in Kancheepuram, Surya/Arjun makes a living as a con-man on the North Zone, and is assisted by his girlfriend, Baby; while the South side is presided over by Pashupati. When a Kolkata-based contractor hires the latter to kill District Collector Jaianand/Kishan, Surya decides to defend him – this results in his finding out that Jaianand is his look-alike. Jaianand’s terrified fiancée, Shanupriya, then hires Surya to not only protect but also impersonate Jaianand – a move that will drastically change everyone’s lives – especially when Kishan refuses to let anyone take his place.
