Deciding that only beauty can bring him respect, Rangan puts the mask back on and lives the life of actor.

Veeram
The film revolves around the family of Jaikodi Thevar, who has two wives. Jaikodi is a respected landowner whose family has helped develop the village for generations. However, his first wife Sevanamma (Viji Chandrasekhar), and her elder brother Veera (Vela Ramamoorthy) control the local gangs and are feared by the villagers. As a result, Jaikodi prefers to live with his second wife and her children (Parthiban (Kathir) and Prema. Because of her husband’s preference of his second wife, Sevanamma dislikes her and her children. Veera blames his brother-in-law’s second wife and her children of destroying his sister’s life and hates them too. The only member of the first wife’s family that accepts the second wife’s family is Jaikodi’s drunkard eldest son, Boologarasa (Kalaiyarasan). However, he is often powerless against his mother and maternal uncle.

Rowthiram
The film starts in the 1980s. A young Shiva (Jiiva) is trained in the ancient Indian martial art Kalarippayattu by his grandfather (Prakash Raj) to be bold and brave and fight against all odds, especially all that’s evil. Shiva gets arrested by the police after fighting with a law student Guna, who is in Gowri’s (Sentrayan) gang. Enters Priya (Shriya Saran), also a law student. She is the daughter of a police official (Babu Antony). She bails Shiva out and falls for him after seeing him fight for other people’s good. Eventually, Shiva too falls for her.

Sandakozhi 2
The film begins seven years later after the events which occurred in the prequel Sandakozhi. Balu (Vishal) arrives from New York City seven years later to his birthplace. He and his father Durai Ayya (Rajkiran) have to protect a young man from a woman who has sworn vengeance on his entire clan. Balu and Durai are often compared to a couple of lions, and the two characters behave so. This is why when Pechi (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) and the men in her family try to hunt down Anbu (Johny Hari), the last male in a clan they have sworn revenge against, because of her husband’s live murder in front of the whole village, but they are unable to do anything. Meanwhile, Balu falls for Sembaruthi (Keerthy Suresh), a village damsel, after losing his loved one seven years ago, Hema (Meera Jasmine). The rest of the film shows how Balu deals with his ups and downs of his family problems given by Pechi and the massive hospitalization of his father after a slit in his throat.
