The film opens with a man (Aravind Akash) and woman interviewing civilians’ thoughts on love and the opposite sex. After a mixture of answers, they cease their questions and the credits roll. The credits end as a boy, after being rejected by his girlfriend, commits suicide by jumping in front of a passing car. Karthik (Vinay Rai) walks off, disturbed, to his girlfriend Jhansi’s (Sadha) office. There, he is criticized by her for his antics with other women and his lack of passion for their love. She walks off, ending their relationship.

Minsaara Kanavu
Priya Amal Raj (Kajol) lost her mother at a very young age. She is friendly, outspoken, sensitive, yet precocious. Priya is brought up by her dad, Amal Raj (Girish Karnad) who is a clothing industrialist. Since her childhood, Priya is interested in singing, music, and church.
Thomas Thanga Durai (Arvind Swamy), a polite, well mannered NRI businessman, returns to India from America to look after his father’s James Thanga Durai’s (S. P. Balasubrahmanyam) business. James is a former associate in Amal Raj’s business and now establishes his own business empire in the same vicinity, opposite Amal Raj’s factory. He boasts of his son’s achievements. However, Amal Raj dislikes James’ ill-mannered, clumsy and bizarre antics though Thomas and Priya have known each other in their childhood.

Khaleja
The story revolves around a remote village in Andhra Pradesh plagued by a strange disease killing a lot of people. The soothsayer of the village predicts that God would come to their village for rescue. Meanwhile, Raju (Mahesh Babu) a cab driver in Hyderabad goes to Rajasthan to handover an insurance cheque to a man’s family who dies in his car. In a strange situation, Raju meets a man from the village and gets to know about their problem. Soon Raju realizes he is none other than the God-sent, the soothsayer predicted, and the rest of the story is all about how Raju takes up the responsibility to rescue the village from the clutches of evil.

Paradesi
Rasa (Atharvaa) is a carefree young man living in a rural village in the Madras Presidency during the early days of the British Raj. Orphaned at a young age, he is brought up by his grandmother. Angamma (Vedhicka), a local girl falls for him and takes pleasure in bullying him. When she finally confesses her feelings for him, they become intimate and soon reveal the fact that they are in love before the entire village and also get into physical relationship. Angamma’s mother objects as Rasa is unemployed and irresponsible, making him unqualified to become anyone’s husband.
Rasa then goes to the nearby village in search of work. He comes across a friendly Kangani, who then follows Rasa back to his village. The Kangani offers a work for the villagers at the British tea plantations at the hillside. He promises them proper accommodation and high wages. Like many of the villagers, Rasa signs up with the Kangani, hoping he can send home money every month for his ailing grandmother. Both Angamma and his grandmother are sad to watch him go.

Sunaina announces at their company stage programme that Daniel is the man behind her success. At the programme reception area, Businessman father and son Raj meet Sunaina and walks out of the area. At home, the Raj’s father sits in anger and tells his son to allow him to be alone. Son in law Naresh tells Raj is the cause for the business loss their father is facing now. Raj now goes to Sunaina house angry where securities try to stop Raj. Sunaina tells he still loves Raj. Raj tells now its late and leaves the house. Sunaina watches Raj leaving. Scene shifts back to a night pub. Sunaina comes to attend her friend Natasha birthday party. Raj fully drunk tries to embrace Sunaina who protest against but Raj again tries to hug Sunaina. Now Sunaina beats on Raj face. Raj full of anger tells Naresh that he will take revenge and want to find out that girl. Finally Sunaina is seen coming out of office by Raj who now realise she working in their company. Now Raj bets Naresh he will be slave if he cannot act as lover and later betray Sunaina. Raj now acts like a changed man and hard working for the company in front of Sunaina. Finally Sunaina falls in love with Raj. The day comes where Raj lies with Sunaina in his house and Raj father finds out their love and tries to arrange for marriage. Raj wanted to cheat Sunaina but as his father and grandmother now ready for their marriage, Raj agrees for marriage. At marriage day, Sunaina mother is found out by Raj father’s friend as a prostitute, Raj father tells to stop the marriage, now Raj confess he wanted to reject her after acting as a lover. Hearing this Sunaina become very angry and leaves with her mother away from the marriage area. Mother commits suicide. Sunaina now fully sad gets support from Daniel. Sunaina become a successful business woman shown as getting a Canadian company business deal overcoming Raj’s father’s business deal with the company. Raj’s father tries to arrange marriage between Raj and his business cum alcohol drinking friend’s daughter. But after a party Raj finds the daughter to be a senseless and shameless lady trying to have body contact dance with another guy. Finally Raj realise Sunaina was a good girl and come back to Sunaina house and again start love with Sunaina . Here Sunaina act as loving but finally one day Sunaina tells she hate him. Last scene Raj is shown mad sitting on road side. Now Sunaina come in a big car and sees Raj sitting mad become sad but after thinking the past marriage day Raj confession and her mother suicide, Sunaina close her car and move forward.
