Aalavandhan

Chennai Kadhal
Gautham (Bharath), a college dropout and good-for-nothing guy, falls in love with Narmada (Genelia D’Souza), the daughter of a local don Sakthivel (Radha Ravi). She lives in a hostel after learning that her father is a criminal who now wants her to marry his partner Sardar’s (Brahmaji) brother. So the two lovers elope to Mumbai, and they are soon tracked and separated. Finally, Gautham, along with his friends, fights against all odds to win back Narmada.

Paruthi Veeran
The story is set in a rural area around Madurai, in the village called Paruthiyur, which still practices caste segregation as a result of the controversial Criminal Tribes Act imposed by the British colonists, where members of impoverished communities are stereotyped as generational criminals.
Paruthiveeran (Karthi) is a country brash whose inter-caste parents were ostracized by the villagers since his higher caste father married his lower caste mother. After his parents’ death, Paruthiveeran was mostly raised by his doting paternal uncle Chevvaazhai (Saravanan) who pampers and accompanies him in every misbehavior to keep him happy. Having grown up among his mother’s people, he is often arrested for petty crimes. His one ambition in life is to gain enough notoriety to be on TV news and to be thrown into Madras Jail. He often bullies Paruthiyur villagers for money and fun.

Kutti Puli
Kutti Puli (Sasikumar) is a happy go-lucky good hearted ruffian, whose mother (Saranya Ponvannan) wants him to settle down. But our hero does not believe in love or marriage till he meets Bharathy (Lakshmi Menon), who changes his attitude. But his enemies will not allow him to lead a respectful family life. Meanwhile a Silambatam match breaks out into a haphazard fight between Puli and a local gang; the events turn out to become a bloodbath after the goons beat Puli up pretty badly. Post the trauma and pain, will Puli avenge his pride? What happens to Bharathi’s love? Can Puli lead a normal life that his mother always wanted to? The rest of plot unveils with all these questions answered.

Amudhey
Dhinakar (Jai Akash), hailing from a middle-class family, and Nancy (Madhumitha), a software engineer and sole breadwinner for her family, are neighbors who are in love with each other. However, their dreams of getting married are shattered when their self-centered parents decide on proposals of their own choice. Notwithstanding the overbearing parental pressures, Nancy marries Victor (Prakash Raj), a multimillionaire businessman, while Dhinakar marries his cousin – but not before the lead pair enters into a sly pact. Dhinakar and Nancy contrive to marry the spouses chosen by their parents, only to officially dissolve their unhappy unions later and thereby pave way to their union. After a sequence of events, Nancy successfully convinces Victor about her unreserved enthusiasm for her past love, gets her divorce, and takes the first step towards making a fresh start, but events overtake her in an unexpected final act.

Gambeeram
After losing his wife, Saroj, during childbirth, Erode, Chennai-based Inspector Mukesh Bhargav, brings up his daughter, Kirtika, on his own, rises up to the position of Assistant Commissioner of Police, battles hoodlums, exposes inept and corrupt police officers, as well as investigates politicians, their nexus with senior civil servants, and the underworld, ignoring the fact that his and Kirtika’s days may already be numbered by his many enemies.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

The second, Thyagu (Arun Vijay), operates his business in Dubai with Arabs. The third, Ethi (Silambarasan), runs the Serbian section of Sena’s empire.
