Three smart orphan boys who wanted to become rich got trapped and chased by powerful matured smart politician.

The film opens with the birth of Baba (Rajinikanth), who is a ‘baba amsa sambhootudu’. Baba grows up as an atheist and hot-blooded man, but he is a Good Samaritan. His lifestyle includes consuming alcohol, smoking substances, and chewing tobacco. His mother (Sujatha) and maternal uncle (M. N. Nambiar) are ardent devotees of Mahavatar Babaji (the Mahaavtar Baba who is supposed to be 2000 years old and who lives in the Himalayas). Chamundeswari (Manisha Koirala) stays in the neighborhood of Baba’s residence who often quarrels with Baba but eventually falls in love with his style and falls for his attitude.

John takes Anand to a stranger’s home and does things as if they were thieves. One such house was that of Pooja, where they go and get information regarding her. On that eve, Anand befriends Pooja when he saves her when she was laid in a pool of blood after being attacked by goons. She helps him become an actor and asks some photos of his to get him a chance. When Anand goes to Pooja’s home, he finds her dead and is put to blame. Anand goes underground, mistaken by Divya and her mother (Urvashi).
