
Sita Ramam
An orphan soldier, Lieutenant Ram’s life changes, after he gets a letter from a girl named Sita. He meets her and love blossoms between them. When he comes back to his camp in Kashmir, he sends a letter to Sita which won’t reach her.

Machakkaaran
Vicky (Jeevan) is the eldest son of a Railway officer, is a perpetual loser in whatever he does and is looked down by other family members. One day he meets Shivani (Kamna Jethmalani), daughter of a rich textile tycoon, who has brought all the luck to her father, with her Midas touch! Soon the ‘unlucky’ Vicky is drawn towards the ‘lucky’ Shivani and they fall madly in love! Due to circumstances, they are forced to elope, with Shivani’s cop brother in hot pursuit. The lovers decide to go to Shivani’s father’s village in Theni, where he is considered and treated as “Mr Nice Guy”, a philanthropist and savior of the locals, and is given the honour of conducting the temple Thiruvizha, every year. How the runaway couple against all odds rips his good guy image and exposes him in front of the entire village, forms the rest of this predictable yarn.

Kadhalil Vizhunthen
The story focuses on the life of Sabhapathy (Nakul). He is the football-crazy son of an alcoholic and lives in the slums. However, he lives a comfortable life and plays football with his mates as he completes his college career. He meets Meera (Sunaina) and develops a liking for her. He slowly starts to love her but is afraid to express his love since she is rich and would react hastily. However, he later does confirm his love to her, and she accepts. When Sabha leaves for a football match with his college, he promises he will propose to her as soon as he gets back. Sabha returns from his match to only find out that Meera has died. He slips into a psychotic depression, travelling with Meera’s dead body. To make matters even worse, the police are after him. The film ends as he commits suicide after killing Meera’s uncle Kasirajan (Hariraj), who murdered her in order to gain her wealth.

Irumbu Thirai
Major Kathiravan (Vishal) is a military official who, with the hope of resuming his job, is working on anger management issues under chief psychiatrist Rathi Devi (Samantha Akkineni). Upon hearing his flashback, she counsels him to go to his village and spend time with his father (Delhi Ganesh) & sister (Darshana Rajendran). As a proof, she orders him to upload a picture daily on social media. Kathiravan, who hates his father due to his habit of borowing money , reluctantly does this and posts every picture on Facebook. Soon, he finds out about his sister’s love affair and wants to get her married to the lover, but his sister orders Kathiravan to stay away from her personal zone as he was never a responsible brother. Kathiravan realizes his mistake and finds out the truth that his sister’s future mother-in-law demands them to bear the marriage expenses which will cost around 10 lakhs totally. He promises to fulfill his sister’s wish.

Nam Naadu
An honest youth leader is irked by his corrupt-politician father and his political aspirations to become the chief minister by bullying the villagers. He decides to contest the elections and help the villagers but faces severe oppressions from his brothers-in-law. In a turn of events, his father is killed and the youth leader is blamed for his murder.

Spyder
Shiva (Mahesh Babu), an officer in the Intelligence Bureau office, spies on people’s calls and messages to help them if needed. He developed a software to listen to the needing ones by tracking their phones. On the night of 16 March, he listens to Charlie/Shalini (Rakul Preet Singh) talking about her wish on getting 98% in her exams from 96% to get a USA scholarship with her friend. In order to do that, she decides to get concentration by dating with a guy. Shiva follows her, and she starts to fall in love, but he does not.
On the night of 28 April, he listens in on a young girl asking her friend for help as she is alone in her house and scared because there is no electricity in her house whilst everyone else on her street has it. Shiva sends his friend, new police constable Renuka (Himaja), to help the girl. However the next day, a news channel declares that the two women had been killed. They were undressed, chopped into different pieces, and were mixed together. Shiva goes to the crime scene and finds it has been a brutal murder. He resigned from his job stating, “I didn’t help them and I should’ve never sent out Renuka,” but his father (Jayaprakash) encourages him to find the murderer. To find out who murdered them, he sets out to ‘spy’ the girl’s chats and whereabouts.

A man, surrounded by birds, hangs himself to death at a cell tower. Elsewhere, the scientist Vaseegaran introduces Nila, his new humanoid robot, to a group of students. A little later, a student’s smartphone starts flying all on a sudden, exhibiting avian characteristics. Before long, cell phones all over Chennai begin to fly away, leaving the city in chaos. At an emergency council meeting initiated by the government, Vaseegaran enunciates that it is beyond conventional science to fight what he considers a fifth force, and proposes reinstating Chitti, which was dismantled in 2010. But Dhinendra Bohra, who lost his father, Professor Bohra, to Chitti’s anger,[a] opposes, and the council decides to seek help from the military, thereby vetoing Vaseegaran’s proposal.
The growing stream of cell phones leave havoc in its path, killing a mobile phone wholesaler Jayanth Kumar, a transmission tower owner Ranjit Lulla and the state’s telecom minister Vaira Moorthy. To prevent further damage, S. Vijay Kumar, the Home Minister, unofficially gives Vaseegaran permission to rebuild Chitti. Chitti traces the mobile phones, which have taken the form of a giant crow, and they fight, during which Chitti’s battery power is depleted and it starts searching for a power source amongst three huge signal transmitters. To Chitti’s surprise, the crow is unable to penetrate the field of transmitters and suffers damage while attempting to do so.
