
Sevagan
Sanjay (Arjun Sarja), a fearless and upright police officer, is transferred to a new city. He lives with his widowed mother (Kavitha) and sister. He also has a half-brother Ashok (Nassar) and stepmother. Ashok works for the corrupted minister Sabapathy (Captain Raju), who is involved in liquor smuggling, procuring, and illegal gambling. One day, a corrupt police officer Sridhar (Sakthivel) tries to rape an innocent girl Anjali (Kushboo). Sanjay arrives on time, saves Anjali, and beats Sridhar. Sanjay later gets married to Anjali. He strongly supports the politician Sathyamoorthy (Charuhasan). Sabapathy decides to target Sanjay’s weak point: his wife Anjali. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Mahabalipuram

Thondan
Narayanan (Namo Narayana) is the son of Central Minister Pandiyanar (G. Gnanasambandam). He makes money by corruption. One day, some goons try to kill a man in daylight. The man is lying in a pool of blood, and a local witnesses this and informs to the ambulance. The ambulance driver is Vishnu (Samuthirakani), a kindhearted man who has never let anyone he has taken in his ambulance die. Vishnu admits the man in the hospital, and he is saved. Narayanan is angry with Vishnu for saving his enemy, for which he replies that saving lives of people is his duty. Vishnu has a father (Vela Ramamoorthy) and sister Mahishasuramardini (Arthana Binu), who is stalked by Vicky (Vikranth), a drunkard and jobless youth who happens to be a friend of Vishnu. Vishnu convinces Vicky to make him attend the medical technician course. He completes it and saves people’s lives. Mahi has a friend who is stalked by Ravi, Narayanan’s brother, and she beats him in a bus.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam
Senapathi (Prakash Raj), a God fearing boss of a crime family, is on a tour to a temple with his wife Lakshmi (Jayasudha). Despite being escorted by heavily armed men, assassins disguised as cops attempt taking down Sena and Lakshmi, but they evade the assault. His children are notified of this. Sena has a daughter (RJ Sindhu) and three sons: the eldest being Varadan (Arvind Swami), who runs a part of his empire in Chennai. The second, Thyagu (Arun Vijay), operates his business in Dubai with Arabs. The third, Ethi (Silambarasan), runs the Serbian section of Sena’s empire.

Insan
Inspector Ajit Rathod (Ajay Devgn) is on a mission to eliminate a notorious terrorist Azhar Khan (Rahul Dev) who killed his wife (Koena Mitra) and the latter is underground from the eyes of law and planning to destroy Mumbai. Now the story moves on to Amjad (Akshay Kumar), an auto rickshaw driver, who is searching his long lost brother Munna, and struggler Avinash (Tusshar Kapoor) who wants to be a star in Bollywood industry. Amjad wants to marry his lover Heena (Esha Deol). But her parents want her to marry a rich man. So Amjad plans to win her parents’ trust by a fake drama with Avinash and his friend to act as fake goons and they involve Rathod to arrest and win Heena’s heart. The plan goes wrong as real goons appear but Amjad fights them leading t Heena’s parents agreeing to marry her to Amjad. Avinash, who is a struggler, on the other hand, loses his job as an extra in films after an argument with an egoistic actor. A newcomer Indu (Laila Mehdin) is helped by Avinash to enter the industry and soon both fall in love with each other not knowing that she had been subjected to a compromise with the producer. Hopeless, Avinash decides to be an auto-rickshaw driver but Indu apologises and encourages Avinash to be a good actor. Soon, Avinash and Indu’s luck turns when the filmmaker (Asrani) casts them as leads in his next film after being impressed on their acting skills. Meghna, a news reporter (Lara Dutta) develops a liking towards Rathod, but the latter is still traumatised and angered on his wife’s death.
