Prabhu Deva Acts as if he is a nice guy and also gets caught few times when he tries to overact.

Thiruvannamalai
Easwaran (Arjun Sarja) is an upright, honest youth who runs a local cable channel in Kumbakonam. He is known to fight for causes of the society and the common man. He enters into fisticuffs with local MLA Poongundran (Sai Kumar) after he exposes his corrupt and greedy ways through his cable TV channel. Fearing trouble, his mother takes him to a saint in Thiruvannamalai. The Swami resembles Easwaran. A sequence of events forces them to swap places. The soft-spoken Swami tries to sort all issues through non-violent means (Gandhian philosophy). Halfway through, Duraisingam (Karunas) dies in the hands of Poongundran and his henchman (Vidharth). In the climax, Easwaran kills Poongundran.

Kadaram Kondan
Vasu, a young medico, after rescuing one of his patients from a murder attempt finds out that his pregnant wife is abducted, and the kidnappers demand the patient he saved in exchange for her safety.

Kaala Koothu
The film opens with a new boy Easwaran joining in Hari’s class. He is instantly disliked because of his withdrawn nature. Hari picks a fight with him, and he breaks his nose and brings his parents to school. Hari’s mother, however, on coming to know that the boy is an orphan, tells him that she can consider him as his mother. However, in a few days time, she dies, and in the funeral, the orphan holds his hand and consoles him.
Years later, Hari (Kalaiyarasan) is in a long time relationship with a college girl Gayathri (Dhansika), while a demure girl Revathi (Srushti Dange) pines for Easwaran (Prasanna), who ignores her as he fears that something bad will happen to her. The heroes make a dangerous enemy in the form of a local mayor’s son, who they beat up and break his hands for harassing Hari’s sister. Meanwhile, Easwaran accepts Revathi due to Hari’s efforts. Just when everything seems to be going well, tragedy strikes at both ends. What happens next forms the rest of the screenplay.

Chatrapathi
Saravanan (Sarathkumar) is a bus driver in a college. He also takes care of an orphanage which is home to numerous children and old-aged people. Indhu (Nikita Thukral), a student of the college, tries to woo Saravanan, while rowdies and other antisocial elements in the city are found dead. Chakravarthy (Mahadevan), the politico who loses his right-hand man, vows revenge and realizes Saravanan, who killed his henchmen, is an Army Major whom he and his men had eliminated years ago in a scuffle over his sister’s (Saranya) land. How Saravanan fends off the evil elements and unites with Indhu forms the rest of the story.

Pattathu Yaanai
The story opens in Karaikudi, where Gouravam (Santhanam) is a well-known traditional cook making a living undertaking orders for marriage functions. He is forced into taking an order for a local goon’s wedding and is not happy about it. Saravanan (Vishal) and his four friends, who come to work for him as junior cooks, offer to help him but land him in even greater trouble and they are forced to flee from Karaikudi. The story shifts to Trichy, where Saravanan and his friends have grand plans of opening a restaurant with the help of Gouravam and his money. Here, just like in Malaikottai, it is love at first sight for Saravanan when he sees Aishwarya (Aishwarya Arjun). Things go wrong and as their love deepens we are introduced to two rival gangs, Kasi and Manaa along with a ‘Madurai Anachi’ who are constantly at each other’s throat. In a conflict Manaa forces Aishwarya to marry him and in the process of saving his love Saravanan reveals his past. Saravanan is a jail return who had killed 3 people in Madurai including Anachi’s only son to avenge the murder of an orphan kid whom Saravanan considers as his little sister. The rest of the story is how Saravanan protects his love and kill the dark forces.

Aarumugam
Arumugam (Bharath) is a good Samaritan who makes a living selling Idli’s on roadside platform shop along with his father (Ilavarasu), sister (Saranya Mohan) and sidekick (Karnas). Arumugam is in love with his childhood sweetheart Yamini (Priyamani) His best friend is the rich kid Karthik (Satya) whose sister is an arrogant tycoon Malini (Ramya Krishnan). She and her uncle (Mahadevan) hates Karthik’s deep bonding with Arumugam, who she finds to be below her stature. Malini, through her machinations is able to separate the friends and bring Arumugam to the streets. Our hero after his mother’s (Seetha) grave is bulldozed and his sister humiliated, vows to bring Malini to the streets. And like you have seen in hundreds of earlier films the hero due to his hard work and smart moves becomes the richest man in the town and takes his revenge.
