
Sathi Leelavathi
Arun (Ramesh Arvind) is married to Leelavathi (Kalpana) in a forced marriage. He is embarrassed by his wife’s plain looks and her weight. When he meets Priya (Heera Rajagopal) – who works in a building construction company, he hides from her the fact that he is married and has an affair with her.
When he takes Priya with him on a vacation to Bangalore, he bumps into his old friend Dr. Sakthivel Gounder (Kamal Haasan) – an orthopedic surgeon from Coimbatore who is also in Bangalore with his wife Palani (Kovai Sarala) and his son Anand – travelling with him in the same flight and even staying in the same hotel. Sakthivel is called to Arun’s room in the night – as Arun has slipped his disc and the hotel doctor is unavailable – and bumps into Priya, thus finding out about the affair.

Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi
In the South Indian kingdom of Cholapuram Paalayam in the year 1771, Raja Mokkaiyappar and his queen, Rajamatha Bhavani Ammaiyar are desperate for a child, as all their previous twenty-two children have died at birth. Unknown to them, Bhavani’s brother, Sangilimayan, who is also the Rajaguru (High priest), is responsible for the death of their children. Sangilimayan is shocked to see that his sister has given birth to twins. Before informing the king about the birth, he calls the palace astrologer, Chinnavadayaan, who predicts that the elder twin will be incapable of making decisions on his own while the younger one will be smarter. Sangilimayan orders the palace doctor, Kailasakaruppan, to kill the younger one, but Chinnavadayaan tells Sangilimayan that his actions would not be good for the kingdom. Instead, Sangilimayan orders the palace doctor to abandon the child in a nearby river. The elder child is named Pulikecei XXIII. Maragathavalli, Kailasakaruppan’s childless wife, rescues the abandoned child from the river, and the couple decides to raise him as their own, naming him Ukraputhan.

Manasellam
On the way to Chennai, Bala’s (Srikanth) bag and certificates get stolen in the train. But he has a look about him that endears him to a petty shop owner Sundaram (Haneefa), who provides him accommodation along with a few bachelors (Vayyapuri, Shyam Ganesh and Sukran) in the top portion of his house. Malar (Trisha) stays opposite this house and the bachelors are crazy about her. They are scared if the handsome and generous Bala will try to woo her and so they hatch a plot and frame him, so that Malar’s two brothers beat him up black and blue. Three strangers, who claim to be his true friends from Hyderabad, save an unconscious Bala. Now the true identity of Bala is told in a flashback by these friends, that he is a rich son of an industrialist (Rajeev and Fathima Babu). Malar saves Bala from an accident and soon they are in love. But her brothers take her back to Chennai, as her sister had already eloped with someone. The brothers do not want her to commit the same mistake and make her promise that she will only marry someone of their choice. Then there is another secret that nobody knows – Malar is suffering from some brain disease and will die soon. Bala comes to stay opposite her house to see and make her happy till the end.

Sokkali Mainar
Ram “Ramu” Mohan is a socially-inept cardiologist practicing in the United States. His wife, Seetha, feels lonely since Ramu pays very little attention to her because of his work. They decide to divorce and leave for Sivapuram, Rajahmundry, where Ramu’s mother Satyabhama lives. Satyabhama, shocked to learn that Ramu and Seetha are divorcing, shouts at a portrait of her deceased husband Bangarraju (a benevolent, flirtatious zamindar who died nearly 30 years ago in an accident).

Vai Raja Vai
Karthik (Gautham Karthik) is a middle-class boy gifted with extrasensory perception who works at an IT company. He has a girlfriend Priya (Priya Anand). During school days, he scores good in the exams using his power, so his father (Vasanth) asks him to suppress this power. Then Karthik meets Pandian aka Panda (Vivek) at his office and befriends him. Panda, a gambler, gets to know about Karthik’s power and asks him to play cricket gambling by using his power. Rangarajan aka Rande (Daniel Balaji) is in charge of cricket gambling under an unknown man known as Kumar. Karthik wins a crore in gambling and uses 10 lakhs for his elder sister Gayathri’s (Gayathri Raguram) marriage. Panda, Karthik and Sathish (Sathish) go on a vacation to Goa to spend the gambling money. There, Rande threatens Karthik to play roulette in the Casino Royale ship. Initially Karthik hesitates, but Rande threatens him by kidnapping Priya. Karthik accepts to play. By this incident, Priya comes to know about Karthik’s power. To train Karthik, Shreya (Taapsee Pannu) comes to help. Karthik plays the game and tricks Rande to take his place in gambling. The casino officials arrest Rande. Karthik, with his money won in the gambling with Panda, Sathish and Priya, escapes and goes back home. Shreya helps Rande escape from guards by the saying of Kumar. Rande traces Karthik and takes him to his place. There, Karthik uses his power to fight Rande’s sidekicks and threatens Rande. At that time, a Rolls-Royce Phantom comes and is revealed that the unknown man Kumar is Kokki Kumar (Dhanush), and he asks Karthik to play for him in politics.

Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar
Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar is a 1998 Tamil film directed by Sundar C. Prabhu Deva and Meena played the leading roles, whilst the film featured an extensive cast, along with a bevy of supporting actors. The film released on 14 January 1998 and became a big success at the box office. The film was loosely based on the 1995 Hollywood movie Two Much.

Pilla Zamindar
Praveen Jaya Ramaraju aka P.J (Nani) is the grandson of a wealthy Zamindar Rudra Ramaraju (Nagineedu). PJ is a spoilt and an arrogant youngster. His grandfather writes a will with several conditions before he dies. His will states that PJ would inherit the entire wealth only if he completes his graduation as a common man without any luxuries. PJ now has to not only complete his graduate studies but he must do it within three years and he should study in a government college in a small village called Siripuram.

Kuselan
Balakrishnan (Pasupathy) is the owner of a barber shop in a remote village. His family consists of his wife Sridevi (Meena) and three children. Balakrishnan struggles to persuade customers to visit his barber shop while his competitor Shanmugham (Vadivelu), a former worker of Balakrishnan who has his own barber shop across from Balakrishnan’s, uses cunning means to make business in haircutting. Balakrishnan’s downfall in business causes him to neglect paying his children’s school fees. Although he struggles to make a living, he still enjoys spending time with his family.
