Maasilamani aka Maasi (Nakul) is an orphan living in a lower middle class colony. With a heart of gold, he is a popular guy who takes up local issues, fights for them, and is considered a rowdy by those who do not know him. Enters the heroine Divya (Sunaina), a rich upper middle class girl who is a dance instructor and with whom Maasi falls in love at first sight. Divya shows aversion to his rowdyism and gets offended with his proposal. Maasi attempts to win her family by being a good person and dons another name, Mani. All are aware that Mani and Maasi are one person except Divya. When Divya finds out the truth, she gets into a dilemma as whom she has to choose. Bhoopathy (Pawan), the local corrupt sub-inspector who is also behind Divya, is determined to flop Maasi’s plans and prove Mani is Maasi. How Mani wins over Divya serves the climax of the movie.
Poisoned by the potent and deadly mix of synthetic drugs called “The Beijing Cocktail” for getting in the way of the Triads, the tough-as-nails British hitman living in Los Angeles, Chev Chelios, wakes up with a terrible headache. With less than an hour to live, Chev will have to use all the help he can get from his doctor, and use every trick in the book, to consistently keep his heart rate up so that the adrenaline in his bloodstream staves off the effects of the deadly toxin. Now, his heart is pounding faster than any other human being, and as Chelios darts across the city’s streets in search of an antidote and the arrogant criminal, Ricky Verona, to exact his revenge, he finds himself compelled to pick fights with no-nonsense drug dealers, murderous assassins, and an army of thugs. But, can Chelios stay alive long enough to protect those he loves, and make it through the day?
VERULI, as the name indicates scarecrow, the director of the film Amudhavanan throws a sequence of incidents that confuses Ashwin( Abishek) as real accidents. The events and evidence also scares the situation. Series of same events makes Ashwin to think in another angle leading to conclusion. With the help and advice from his peers Ashwin makes youthful activities in twisting the reason. Reporter (Archana Singh)paves way for the investigation in her perception along with her cameraman Shankar(Jayachandran)in a presentable humour. A sequence of humourous facts in between turns the film towards (K.Bhakiyaraj) who narrates the situation and justifies the reason and helps in breaking the suspense.
The film opens with a new boy Easwaran joining in Hari’s class. He is instantly disliked because of his withdrawn nature. Hari picks a fight with him, and he breaks his nose and brings his parents to school. Hari’s mother, however, on coming to know that the boy is an orphan, tells him that she can consider him as his mother. However, in a few days time, she dies, and in the funeral, the orphan holds his hand and consoles him.
Years later, Hari (Kalaiyarasan) is in a long time relationship with a college girl Gayathri (Dhansika), while a demure girl Revathi (Srushti Dange) pines for Easwaran (Prasanna), who ignores her as he fears that something bad will happen to her. The heroes make a dangerous enemy in the form of a local mayor’s son, who they beat up and break his hands for harassing Hari’s sister. Meanwhile, Easwaran accepts Revathi due to Hari’s efforts. Just when everything seems to be going well, tragedy strikes at both ends. What happens next forms the rest of the screenplay.

Vijay (Rajinikanth) is a professional photographer who falls in love with a rich girl,Priya(Sridevi). They marry against her parents’ wishes. But soon the marriage is on the rocks due to the difference in their backgrounds. They have a fight and Priya goes back to her parents’ house. After a few days, Priya stomach aches a lot. The doctor says that she is pregnant. Hearing this news, Priya is ready to mend fences with Vijay. She wants to go and tell him the news. But her dad does not allow her to go as he had fixed her marriage with someone else. But she gives her dad the slip and goes to Vijay’s house, just to find out that he vacated the place recently. The next scene shows Vijay in the hospital to visit his friend. Priya’s stomach ached and she was brought to the same hospital. Hearing this, Vijay is very happy and tries to talk to Priya, but her dad tells Vijay that he will give him the baby on the condition that he promises he will never see Priya again and Vijay promises. Priya gives birth to a son and Vijay takes him away. Priya’s father tells her that the baby is stillborn. She is very depressed and thinks that her son is still alive. Vijay brings up the son. Many years later, Priya comes close to where Vijay lives and sees a boy. She follows that boy who turns out to be her son and he leads Priya to Vijay. They were united.
