
Rojavanam
Muthu (Karthik) is the favourite employee at Rojavanam, a home for the aged owned jointly by two friends (Ravikumar and “Nizhalgal” Ravi). Sindhu (Malavika) is a psychology student staying at the home. Muthu falls in love with Roja (Laila), the daughter of his boss but learns that the boss and his friend, had decided long ago that their children would be married and this has resulted in the friend’s son growing up enamoured of Roja. Roja’s father accepts Muthu as his son-in-law but his friend, angered at this, decides to bulldoze Rojavanam to the ground. But Rojavanam saved by muthu with marrying Roja and Siva. At the climax, Muthu gets married to Sindhu. After a few years, Muthu, now old, is seen asking a few advocates to fight for Rojavanam.

Amara
Amara is a 2014 Tamil language film written, filmed and directed by M. Jeevan. The film was produced by S.A. Jalavudhin who had previously produced Sengathu. Starring Amaran, Sruthi Ramakrishnan and Ashish Vidyarthi, the film released on 28 February 2014.

Mathiya Chennai
Mathiya Chennai is the story of a man who loves films and dream of becoming director, but he accidentally gets in a brawl with a gangster making his future difficult, but is in love with the gangster’s daughter. Later he makes a movie with the help of his lady love and when the film was about to release, the gangster pulls out all the possible options to prevent the film from its screening.

Kolamavu Kokila
The film opens with the killing of a police officer by cocaine mafia lord Bhai (Hareesh Peradi) and his henchmen. Kokila (Nayanthara) struggles to find a job to take care of her parents (Saranya Ponvannan and R. S. Shivaji) and sister (Jacqueline Fernandez). She stumbles on the cocaine smuggling business of Mohan (Charles Vinoth). When her mother is diagnosed with lung cancer, Kokila is forced to work for Mohan. Her cunning earns her a name in the business. The new inspector Guru (Saravanan) is a no-nonsense cop and cracks down on drug dealers. Kokila is almost caught a couple of times but manages to evade the authorities. She convinces Mohan to kill two of his henchmen suspected of leaking information and then decides to quit the business. Mohan seemingly accepts but tries to rape her. She beats him up and tries to flee with her family but is caught by Bobi, who had recruited her initially. He demands that she deliver a one last consignment of 100 kilos to Alphonse (Rajendran). Kokila is forced to accept and enlists the help of her family. She delivers the load, but it is revealed that she switched most of it for salt. She then tricks Bobi to double-cross Bhai and then frames him for swindling Bhai. She has him killed and continues the shipment run. On the way, she is caught by the police, who were Alphonse’s men in disguise. She manages to avoid getting raped and kills off her captors. Guru tracks her down and arrests her. Kokila makes a deal with him to nab Bhai and bring the whole drug business down. The plan works out, Bhai is shot dead, and Kokila and her family escape punishment. In the end, the family starts a business of Kolam powder, calling it ‘Kokila Kolamavu’.

Saattai
Dayalan (Samuthirakani) is a newly appointed teacher of a government school in Vanthaarangudi village near Thiruvannamalai city. He is unhappy with the education system and is also worried about the pitiable condition of education of government schools. After joining the school, he tries to change the school’s environment. This is not welcome by Singaperumal (Thambi Ramaiah) who is Assistant Head Master (AHM). Dayalan’s decision for the change does not go well with other teachers and students as well. But Dayalan’s good moves were slowly noticed by Pandian (Junior Balaiah). Slowly, Dayalan gets popular among the class students. In between, there is love between Pazhani (Yuvan) and Arivazhagi (Mahima Nambiar). Pazhani’s father is also a teacher in the same school. Singaperumal was waiting for a turn to take revenge on Dayalan. In these situation, Arivazhagi was sexually abused by somebody. Singaperumal files a case against Dayalan as a culprit. After Arivazhagi opens the statement to the police that another teacher is her abuser, Dayalan was released. Dayalan organizes an inter school competition between schools. Dayalan’s school gets first place because of Arivazhagi’s and Pazhani’s hard work. After that, Dayalan gets attacked by mobs arranged by Singaperumal. Dayalan gets admitted in the hospital. All the students and teachers go to the hospital to see him and they were denied to see him by the hospital authorities as he is in very critical condition. Then arrives his wife and inspires the students to study for the coming exams. Students study well and they top their district, and the movie ends with Dayalan giving the responsibility of HM to Singaperumal. So he reforms and apologizes to Dayalan. Then Dayalan goes to the next village to reform another government school.

Siva
Siva, a student, comes to Vijayawada from a nearby town to pursue his education. He lives with his brother Sharath’s family, and enrolls in the VAS College of Arts and Sciences. Although Sharath and his daughter Keerthi get along well with Siva, his wife considers him a financial burden. Siva befriends a group of students and falls in love with Asha, sister of the honest police inspector Venkat. The college’s (unopposed) student-union president, J. Durga Rao (known as J. D.) is the lowest rung in a gang ladder reaching through the gangster Ganesh to Bhavani, a crime boss. Bhavani uses the network to support his mentor Machiraju, a politician. Although J. D. is arrested many times, Bhavani continues to bail him out. When J. D. teases Asha on campus, Siva attacks him with a bicycle chain; a rivalry then develops between him and Ganesh. The incident encourages Siva’s friends to ask him to stand for the student-union presidency, but he wants them to nominate Naresh (one of the group) instead. Ganesh’s attempts to pacify Siva fail, and Bhavani learns about him. He considers Siva a potential replacement for J. D., whose weakness annoys him. Naresh is fatally assaulted by J. D. and Bhavani’s henchmen, and is taken to hospital. Siva retaliates, infuriating Bhavani. When Siva’s friends attend a wedding, they are attacked by Ganesh and others. One of Siva’s friends, Malli, is murdered and Siva swears revenge. Sensing a risk to Sharath’s family after an attempt on Keerthi’s life, Siva leaves their house and moves into his friend Chinna’s hostel. He agrees to contest the student-union presidential election. Bhavani cheats labour-union leader Krishna Reddy, who changes his allegiance to Siva. Around this time, Asha and Siva marry. Bhavani begins attacking and murdering Siva’s close aides, and Siva ensures that Sharath relocates to Visakhapatnam as a part of his job. Siva attacks Bhavani’s henchmen, and helps Venkat arrest Ganesh. Machiraju sees Siva as a potential replacement for Bhavani, and stops supporting the latter. Bhavani learns about Siva’s relationship to Sharath, and kidnaps Keerthi. Ganesh appears in court, and an arrest warrant is issued for Bhavani. Insulted and humiliated, Bhavani kills Keerthi and Machiraju. Siva and Bhavani later duel on a shopping-complex terrace. Bhavani commits suicide, and Siva walks out as Asha and Venkat watch in dismay.

Kolanji
A young boy realizes there are love and affection behind the strictness of his father.

Junction
Kannan (Abhinay) is a carefree college student and always hangs out with his group of friends. They spent much of their time smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, eve teasing the college girls, making fun of the teachers and loitering around the campus after school. Kannan is also a hardcore fan of cinema actress Meera (Kanishka Sodhi). Vinay (Vinayak Raj), the senior student, is a womaniser who spoiled the lives of many girls and ragged Kannan for no particular reason. After initial clashes between Kannan and his classmate Jennifer (Aamna Sharif), they eventually fall in love with each other. Meera is a philanthropist who helps the poor and orphan children whenever she gets a chance. One day, Jennifer won a contest to meet Meera but she gives the opportunity to her lover Kannan. Kannan then spends one day with his favourite actress Meera, Meera is therefore attracted by his friendly approach and humorous speech, thus she befriends him. Kannan realizes that she is a genuine and a very humble person. The young Kannan was motivated by his friends to sleep with Meera. Kannan then openly asks her to have sex with him, Meera takes him in her bedroom and asks him to choose between sex and friendship. Kannan chooses friendship and apologizes to her.

Maaveeran Kittu
Set in the year 1987, the movie depicts the life of Krishnakumar alias Kittu (Vishnu), a Dalit youth whose main ambition is to become a collector. He is influenced by the ideas of Chinnarasu (R. Parthiepan), a local Dalit leader who had also sponsored his education. Chinnarasu and Kittu try to fight against the rampant caste discrimination meted out to them by the upper caste people, but are unable to do much about it as the police and courts are biased towards the upper castes. One day, Kittu sees his classmate Gomathi (Sri Divya), who is from the upper caste, discriminate against a Dalit girl. He admonishes her publicly for her act of caste discrimination, which makes her repent her behaviour. Gomathi eventually falls in love with Kittu, but Kittu maintains a distance as they are from different castes, though he too is in love with her.
