
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect
Based by the life of ISRO Scientist Nambi Narayanan who was falsely accused of being a spy and arrested in 1994. Though free, he is still fighting for justice, with those police officials alleged to have falsely implicated him, still free.

Bhadra
A village boy who goes to college and falls in love with his classmate, who turns out be the sister of an underworld don.

Ivan Thanthiran
Two engineering college dropouts start a shop in Richie street to sell assembled electronic products. Sakthi, who understands the electronic functionalities well, reverse engineers the products and sells them in their shop. Sakthi has also developed a mobile phone which can be assembled by unique parts and thus be heavily custom modified. He meets a final-year engineering student Asha, who buys a laptop from him and later claims he cheated him. They quarrel and later get on and fall in love. She even gets sakthi’s project accepted in a national electroincs firm, for mass production in near future. One day, they get a job to fix CCTV cameras in a rich house. While fixing the job, Sakthi learns that the house belongs to the central Education-HRD Minister Devaraj. Despite properly fixing the CCTV cameras, they are not be paid and are insulted.

Dora
The film opens with Pavalakkodi (Nayanthara) in the hospital and her father Vairakannu (Thambi Ramaiah) weeping for her misfortune. Later, the scene cuts to their futures.
They live in a small house. Vairakannu is a single hardworking father who brought her up and Pavalakkodi, his only daughter, takes care of him in his old age and doesn’t wish to marry. They lead a happy life. Nearby in an apartment, three thieves enter a house and rob all the jewels from the lady, harass and kill her. To investigate this case a Police officer (Harish Uthaman) arrives at the site and finds no clue about the men and finds a Rajasthani blanket in the house. Upon asking, the house owner and maids say nothing, and therefore the case leads to nothing.

Adhyan
Adhyan travels from Japan to Chennai to find a girl he met online. However, as he feels jet lagged a few criminals take notice and frame him for a crime he doesn’t commit.

Ji
Vasu (Ajith Kumar) is a happy-go-lucky final-year college student who is forced to contest elections in the college after being persuaded by his friends Arun (Nithin Sathya) and Venkat Prabhu. He incurs the wrath of the local MLA Varadharajan (Charan Raj), whose son is studying in the same college and is also contesting the elections.
In the course of events, Varadharajan’s gang attacks Vasu and his friends. Vasu’s father Seenu (Vijayakumar), a tea shop owner, advises the students to take a plunge in politics and teach bad apples like Varadharajan a lesson. Taking cue from his words, Vasu does take the plunge in politics with the backing of college students and files a nomination for the assembly election in Kumbakonam constituency. Varadharajan is annoyed and angry at Vasu’s presumptuousness and tells him to back off from the elections. But Vasu goes ahead with his plans. The rest is a sequence of events by which Vasu wins the admiration of masses and succeeds in getting elected as MLA.

Raatchasan
The film opens with the discovery of a corpse of a teenage girl who was brutally murdered.
Arun Kumar (Vishnu Vishal) is an aspiring filmmaker who wants to make a movie on psychopaths. After being rejected many times and due to pressure from his family, he decides to give up his dreams and become a sub-inspector with the help of his brother-in-law Doss (Ramdoss), a police officer himself. He moves to Chennai to stay with his sister Kokila (Vinodhini Vaidyanathan), Doss, and their daughter Ammu (Abhirami). Ammu gets into trouble when she makes Arun sign like her father in her report card. Her class teacher figures this out and thinks she signed it herself. He meets and befriends Ammu’s teacher Viji (Amala Paul) and her niece Kayal (Baby Monica).

Vikram
Amar is assigned to investigate a case of serial killings. When Amar investigates the case, he realizes it is not what it seems to be and following down this path will lead to nothing but war between everyone involved.

Variyavan
The movie is about a poor guy shifting from his hometown to a metro city for his career and facing several challenges in order to sustain.

Giant Python

Bale Pandiya
Contract killer AKP (R. Amarendran) and his two sidekicks (one of which is a driver that does a full 360-degree flip from the car window and opens the door, allowing AKP to exit from the passenger seat) arrive at a club. The group walks into the club and starts showing their power before reaching their table. A finger with a ring is placed on the table. Pandian (Vishnu Vishal) considers himself unlucky. All his efforts to come up in life end on wrong side. He approaches AKP and urges to kill him. A shocked AKP is initially hesitant. Soon, he decides to give him some time. Hence, he gives Pandian some money and entrusts him with a job of turning a human bomb, a job that he should execute within 20 days. Life changes for Pandian after he meets Vaishnavi (Piaa Bajpai). They fall in love with each other. When Pandian decides to go tell AKP that he would rather prefer to live, he gets a rude shock: AKP and his men are found murdered. The blame falls on Pandian. Meanwhile, Vaishnavi gets kidnapped by a gang for a big deal. It is chaos and confusion everywhere, before Pandian sets things right.
