Right Yaaa Wrong
Right Yaaa Wrong is a story of two cops, Ajay (Sunny Deol) and Vinay (Irrfan Khan), where an intense rivalry leads them on a battle for supremacy.
Ajay and Vinay are best friends. Ajay’s wife (Isha Koppikar) is found brutally murdered. Ajay is the prime suspect and Vinay is handed the case. Unsure what to do, either help his best friend or achieve a higher position in his job, Vinay goes against Ajay. By this time, Radhika (Konkana Sen Sharma), Vinay’s younger sister, becomes Ajay’s lawyer, and is Ajay’s only support.
Kalavu is a slick, gripping crime thriller drama set in the outskirts of Chennai. A group of three friends are embroiled in a chain snatching crime that they haven’t committed. After a night of binge drinking, the three of them playfully escape from the clutches of the cops during their routine checks for ‘DD’ (drink and drive) cases on the roads. The friends slowly realize the magnitude of the situation and the stress that’s in store for them. They face harassment from the cops and have to somehow relieve themselves from the situation.
In 1990, in Tadipatri village, a son hires people to kill his own father and ends up getting killed himself. S.I Lenin who investigates these murders, uncovers that when consumed by jealousy, lust and greed, even families can turn lethal.
DCP Paramaguru (Ajith Kumar) is an efficient police officer who fights with the scum of the society. He later masquerades as a thief to infiltrate into the underworld. The bad guys are surprised to find that Paramguru is the DCP, out to get them. So they all gang up against him. In this process, a thrilling encounter takes place between the good and the evil. Paramaguru is helped in his fight against injustice by Divya (Meera Jasmine) who falls in love with him.
Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu
Muthu, a low caste youngster, goes to the streets of Mumbai for a living. His quest takes him to a series of unexpected events, where he gets involved in the underground activities of Mumbai’s Tamil gangsters. Will he get to the top?
The movie begins in Madurai where a young boy, Sakthi (Johnny), leads a happy life with his parents. A shocking incident changes his life: his parents are murdered by an anti-social. As Sakthi seeks revenge, he is arrested and sent to prison, where he is severely beaten by the guards. While in jail, he is befriended by four young criminals: Pandurangan aka Pandu (Nishanth), Prem Kumar aka Dabba (Theepetti Ganeshan), Mari (Thamizh) and Michael (Sandeep). When these hardcore criminals break loose from the prison, Sakthi follows them, and they help him take revenge on his parent’s killers. They take a train to Mumbai, where they plan to become big gangsters. But fate has other plans: they land at Renigunta, where they come across Bunker (Bunker), who acts as mediator between contract killers and clients.
Through Bunker, the boys get the acquaintance of Sardar, an influential don, who takes them seriously after a successful murder in the town. Meanwhile, Sakthi comes across a mute girl (Sanusha) in the neighbourhood. After a few encounters, romance blossoms between them. But the girl’s uncle plans to push her into flesh trade. Taking pity on Sakthi and the girl, his friends decide to help them elope, but only after they complete a final murder for Sardar.
But all plans go haywire when they execute their murder plans. Pandu is killed at the scene, and later Sakthi and Mari blame Sardar and Bunker for abandoning their friend. A fight breaks, and Mari is killed before Sakthi kills both Sardar and Bunker. Sakthi reunites with Dabba and Michael, but they are now chased by the police. He sends a message to his girlfriend, telling her to meet him at a train station so they can elope together. But while she is waiting for him there, the police finally finds the three boys. Michael and Dabba are killed, while Sakthi escapes. He runs and hides in a train, and as the train starts moving, believing no one can get hold of him, he leans out of the train door dreaming of his girlfriend. But as the train reaches a station, he is shot dead by a police officer. The film ends with the mute girl waiting for Sakthi at a railway station down the line.
CBI 5: The Brain
A meth amphetamines cook hunts down the former Police chief of a small town in order to silence him before he can deliver eyewitness testimony against his family, but ultimately finds himself up against more than he had bargained for.
A popular crime novelist’s wife is murdered and he is been interrogated by the Crime Branch special investigation officer. The interrogation leads to various suspects who could have possibly killed the novelist’s wife. But, to the interrogation officer there is more to what meets the eye, until the audience gets to know who done it.
Vishal (Riaz) and Dr.Vasudevan (Yog Japee) wake up one day to find out that they both are stuck inside a square room devoid of any furniture. The only other element in the room apart from the two of them is the dead body of a man lying in the middle of the room, blood soaked. Vishal and Dr.Vasudevan do not know each other. Soon, Vishal realises that there is a tape recorder near him, he finds a cassette in his pocket, which he plays. The cassette welcomes him to the SQUARE and tells him that his only way of escaping is by finding a clue that only the guy opposite him can see. Soon, Dr.Vasudevan plays the cassette from his pocket and the recording again welcomes him to the SQUARE and tells him that he has been doing a lot of good by saving lives as a Doctor and yet he has committed a grave mistake which he is now getting punished for. He is told that there is only 8 hours remaining for him to escape and his escape would only be by killing the one opposite him.
