Year 2016, Bangkok is a rotten capital infested with chaos and criminals. The story begins when a teen named Suri escapes and finds a drug dealer tormenting some little boys. Suri guns down the drug dealer. One of the boys, Raghava/Jadhav, expresses his wish to join him. The rest of the boys become Suri’s helpers and eventually his henchmen. The film continues 20 years later with Suri (Akkineni Nagarjuna) and Raghava/Jadhav (Raghava Lawrence), and with the establishment of the fact that Suri is the don with a golden heart. Then, he has Raghava/Jadhav as his sidekick who adores him to death. Together, they rule the underworld of Andhra Pradesh. Since Suri is the unopposed kingpin, he has time for a song and dance on his birthday with his basti people. Everything is peaceful and hunky dory, but only until Stephen/Feroz (Kelly Dorji) enters the scene. He is a feared don throughout India who wants to add Andhra to his underworld fiefdom. Suri refuses to work with Stephen/Feroz. In many attempts to kill Suri, Stephen’s/Feroz’s men get killed. Rathnam (Kota Srinivasa Rao) wants to kill Raghava/Jadhav. Raghava/Jadhav kills Rathnam because the latter hosted a hideout for Stephen’s/Feroz’s men in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, Suri falls in love with Priya (Anushka Shetty). At first, she doesn’t like him but later begins to like him. Raghava/Jadhav also finds a girl he likes. In that process, he is cornered, where his fiancé Nandhini (Nikita Thukral) ends up being on the villains side. Raghava/Jadhav is killed. In a final meet between Suri and Stephen/Feroz, the latter returns Raghava’s/Jadhav’s bullet-ridden body and challenges Suri to a fight on the condition that ‘A person will lose two of his men for each fall he takes’. Angered and heartbroken by Raghava’s/Jadhav’s death, Suri accepts his challenge. As the fight progresses, Suri loses two of his men. Determined to win, Suri continues the fight and thrashes up Stephen/Feroz and his two well-trained women bodyguards. The fight ends with Stephen/Feroz getting killed by Suri, and he warns Stephen’s/Feroz’s remaining men not to be like their boss.

Prabha (Aadhi) is the eldest son of his family who does nothing but spend all his time with his friends. He is chided by his father (Jayaprakash) for that. Being a volleyball player comes to his rescue as he finds a part-time job as a volleyball coach in a women’s college. His younger brother works in a TV channel, and Prabha is often compared to him by the family, which incurs his wrath. The siblings cross swords with each other. One day, the younger brother is killed, and the blame falls on Prabha. He is on the run and soon joins a goonda working as a henchman to an influential politician (Mahadevan). Prabha goes on a killing spree, killing one by one in the gang. Finally, a flashback reveals that they were the reason for his brother’s death.
Saravanan, a psychiatrist, meets up with his foster brother Senthilnathan alias Senthil, and his wife Ganga while on vacation. Senthil’s mother Kasthuri wanted Senthil to marry Priya, the daughter of his father’s cousin Kandaswamy, to reunite the two branches of the family after 30 years of separation because Senthil’s father chose to marry Kasthuri instead of Kandaswamy’s sister, Akhilandeshwari. Saravanan learns that Senthil had bought the Vettaiyapuram mansion, despite attempts by the local village elders to dissuade them, and moves in with them. Akhilandeshwari is jealous of Saravanan and plots to kill him with the help of her assistant Oomaiyan.
When the family visits their ancestral temple, the chief priest reveals the reason everyone fears the mansion. A hundred-and-fifty years ago, a king named Vettaiyan travelled to Vijayanagaram in Andhra Pradesh, where he met and fell in love with a dancer named Chandramukhi. However, she did not reciprocate his feelings as she was already in love with a dancer named Gunashekaran. As a result, Vettaiyan took her back to his palace by force. Unknown to him, Chandramukhi made Gunashekaran stay in a house nearby and had meetings with him secretly. When Vettaiyan discovered this, he beheaded Gunashekaran on Durgashtami and burnt Chandramukhi alive. As a result, Chandramukhi’s ghost tried to take revenge on Vettaiyan, who with the help of various priests and sorcerers from all over the country, tames the ghost by locking it up in a room located in the palace’s south-west corner. Priya is in love with Vishwanathan, a dance professor who reciprocates her feelings. Their love is supported by Saravanan, who requests Kandaswamy to arrange their marriage.
Set in the city of Chennai, the narrative follows the love story of Yamuna and Vettri, childhood sweethearts. Yamuna works the night shift as a customer service representative at a telecom company, while Vettri is employed at a regular day job. Due to their different work timings, the couple usually rendezvous in the wee hours when the roads are desolate and the city is still asleep. One such night, Yamuna (Shruthi) is abducted by sex traffickers while returning from work and her disappearance sets in motion a desperate mission by Vettri (Dhruvah, debut) to save her. The kidnappers run an underground network with international thugs who earn millions by exploiting their human cargo. Trapped along with Yamuna, are three other girls who have also been tricked and captured to be sold to the highest bidder. Desperate and terrified, the girls have only each other for support in this ordeal, till they reach their destination.
During the political realm of N. T. Rama Rao, Shankar Narayana is an independent MLA of the constituency of Shankar Nagar, which is named after him, in Hyderabad, and is regarded as a champion for the poor. When a truck collides with the car his brother Satyam and he are in, Shankar goes into a coma. Except his family, everyone else presumes that he is killed in the accident. His son Ajay is a police officer in Mumbai who fights against the mafia and is on a mission to apprehend Mafia don Nayak who is involved in illegal drug trade, extortion and arms trafficking.
When he heads to Turkey in an undercover operation, he meets Prashanthi, the daughter of Ajay’s senior police officer and soon falls in love with her. She initially rejects his advances which makes him give up. However, he is successful in the undercover operation and arrests Nayak’s brother Bunty. After returning to India, he again meets Prashanthi and, to his surprise, she reciprocates his feelings. In an attempt to arrest Nayak, Bunty and the police commissioner is killed and Shankar’s loyal follower Sivayya reveals to Ajay that Nayak, along with Shankar’s rival, Mallesh Goud, and Shankar’s other followers Meka Narsingh Rao and Ambarpet Ganesh, were behind Shankar’s accident, which makes Ajay plot to kill all of them.
