The story follows a young girl who as a child is a victim of an extramarital relationship, unknowingly gets involved with a married man and her journey in finding the solution.
Nadungaadhey Illathil Pei
Naresh (Allari Naresh) is a happy go lucky youth who enters the guest house of Gopal (Rajendra Prasad) which is possessed by evil spirits. He succeeds in impressing everyone as the fake Swamiji who has all the powers to deal with the evil spirits and collects huge remuneration for his job.
The story starts with Vasu (Vaibhav) narrating his story from childhood. He has four close friends: Kanagasabhapathi (Karunakaran), Kalyanasundaram (Arjunan), Pattabi (Venkat Sundar), and Venky (Karthik Priyadarshan). The five friends worship Seenu Anna (Robo Shankar) for his dedication to friendship, and one day, he advises to them that marriage will spoil friendship.
All the friends take this seriously, except for Vasu, who has a liking for girls. After failing many attempts of falling in love at school and college (his friends spread rumors that Vasu is gay), he decides to leave to Chennai so that he would get an opportunity to love a girl. He stays with Nelson (VTV Ganesh), who has affairs with many rich and beautiful girls. Nelson persuades Vasu to trap a rich girl, citing that middle-class and college girls will have bigger competition and high expectations, but rich girls have very less expectations, and many guys do not try to date them, assuming that it is impossible to woo them. He hands the pub membership card to Vasu so that he can get to see many rich girls.
Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam
Manoja, a girl accustomed with the western style of life and a typically introvert Prabhu, who has never been with a girl in his life. These two getting married – sounds impossible right? But that’s what arranged marriages can do! With Manoja and Prabu having different ideas about marriage and sex, they start off on the wrong foot and separate when the unthinkable happens on their path to harmony. In Mumbai, Sid Mehra is, in the words of his father, an arrogant, spoiled brat. He lives with a doting mother, subservient brother, and a father who covers his expenses and credit card bills. Sid takes his college finals then starts work at his father’s business; he lasts less than a week before walking out. At a graduation party, he meets Aisha, newly arrived from Calcutta and set on becoming a writer. He shows her the city and helps her refurbish a rented flat. He asks if she’d like to progress from friend to something more, but she says no: he lacks ambition and isn’t her type. Will her words, his exam results, a confrontation with his parents, and a break with his friends be enough to wake Sid up?
