
Parijatham
Surendhar’s mother tells him that she has found him a bride. Before the couple can meet, his mother dies in an accident. He sets out to find the woman his mother wanted him to marry.

Narathan
Vishnu (Nakul) is on his way from Coimbatore for his new job and also to see his Fiance who is his uncle’s daughter. During his journey he meets Pavitra (Nikesha Patel) and upon his arrival in Chennai, problems begin. Simultaneously Narathan (Premji) a renowned movie director is at his uncle’s place who is also a movie producer. Narathan narrates his story to Vishnu’s uncle and interestingly all the incidents have been happening in Vishnu’s and all the other people’s lives.

Aasai Aasaiyai
The story revolves around Vinod (Jiiva), who aspires to become a businessman after completing his bachelors. His parents keep nudging him to find a job. He also works part-time as a private detective. He is assigned a detective job to follow a girl and find out her general activities and also if she is in love with anyone. While doing this job, he eventually falls in love with the girl Brinda (Sharmelee) and quits his detective job. Brinda, who is the daughter of a rich gold seller Sankaranarayanan (Nasser), has a policy to not love anyone as her sister eloped with a guy in the past and her father had suffered a heart attack. But eventually Brinda falls in love with Vinod.
Vinod and Brinda come to an agreement that both should prioritize their goals first and they should never meet unless their goals are met. Vinod aspires to start a business of his own while Brinda aspires to complete her college degree with high scores. Vinod starts an apparel showroom and grows big. He is also made the secretatary of traders association for which Sankaranarayanan is the president. Vinod gets into good books of Sankaranarayanan due to his hard working nature and good manners. Similarly Brinda finishes her education with flying colours and awards.

Coimbatore Mappillai
Balu (Vijay) comes to the modern city and stays with his friend who claims he has a job. Actually, he is also unemployed. Both of them are tenants of a girl named Sumithra (Sanghavi). First, Balu and Sumithra get into fights, but then their arguments and fights turn into love. Meanwhile, Sumithra’s cousin Mahesh (Karan) is also in love with her. One day, Balu witnesses a thief stealing a necklace, and when he tries to catch him, the thief inserts the necklace in Balu’s pocket, and Balu is blamed for stealing it. Sumithra starts hating Balu. Taking advantage of this situation, Mahesh creates a rift between them by hiring goons to attack them, and he blames Balu for that too. Balu explains his sad story to her grandmother Paattiamma (Nirmalamma) that he lost his mother during small age and could not endure the torture of his stepmother, so he escaped from home. Paatiamma believes him, but Mahesh takes revenge by setting up wires and making her paralyzed. In the hospital, Sumithra overhears Mahesh and his father (Vinu Chakravarthy) wanting to kill her to steal their colony. Balu pays the medical bills and attempts to commit suicide, but Sumithra saves him. Mahesh, who tried to kill him, is killed in a stampede. The film ends with Balu and Sumithra living happily.

An unemployed young man kidnaps and holds captive a criminal who is also the brother of a powerful law minister who was responsible for the death of three students.

Pyaar Prema Kaadhal
Sree Kumar (Harish Kalyan) is an innocent and fun loving boy from Chennai who lives with his parents. He has a crush on Sindhuja, (Raiza Wilson) a beautiful and independent modern day girl who works in the office nearby. Sindhuja, eventually joins Sree’s office and invites him to hangout with her at the club to which Sree happily agrees. At the club, he realises, Sindhu drinks alcohol, swears freely and is a complete party girl. He comes to know of the surprising fact that Sindhu doesn’t know her own birthday because nobody except her mom knew it and her mom died when she was very young. Over time they become good friends and Sree falls head over heels in love with her.

Padmaavat
Set in medieval Rajasthan, Queen Padmavati is married to a noble king and they live in a prosperous fortress with their subjects until an ambitious Sultan hears of Padmavati’s beauty and forms an obsessive love for the Queen of Mewar.

Kadhal
Murugan (Bharath) is a diligent scooter mechanic in Madurai and life goes on smoothly for the young man until a rich student Aishwarya (Sandhya) sets an eye on him. The infatuation reaches a dangerous level when she coaxes Murugan to take her from the constraint of her family, who have other plans about her future. Initially Murugan hesitates to love her as she belongs to a rich family but later understands her true love and reciprocates. The couple knows that Aishwarya’s family will not agree for the wedding and decide to run away to Chennai. Murugan’s friend Stephen (Sukumar) helps them in their hour of crisis and the lovers unite in marriage. But Aishwariya’s family dotes on her and is not going to give up so easily. The family tracks down the couple and reaches Chennai to meet them. But the family members pretend as if they had agreed for the wedding and convince them to return to Madurai along with them. On the way back to Madurai, the family members take the couple to their farmland where Aishwarya’s relatives have gathered. They all beat Murugan and Aishwarya’s father wants her to remove the mangalyam tied by Murugan. Aishwarya fears that if she does not obey her father, then Murugan will be killed and also Aishwarya agrees to marry another man to save Murugan’s life. Murugan is heavily beaten and let go from the place. After a few years, Aishwarya while travelling with her husband and her child, comes across Murugan where she finds him as a mentally deranged beggar roaming near a traffic signal. Aishwarya faints realizing it is Murugan and gets admitted to the nearby hospital. At night she runs from the hospital to the same signal in search of Murugan and she finds him sitting over there. Aishwarys cries to Murugan and feels bad that she was responsible for his pathetic situation. Aishwarya’s husband also comes to the spot and understands his wife’s situation. He admits Murugan in a mental health center and also takes care of him.
The movie ends with title cards mentioning that this is a true incident narrated by the girl’s husband to the director during a train journey which prompted him to a make a movie.
