
Oru Kanavu Pola
The film is a story of two childhood friends who live their lives to the fullest. The story focuses on the friendship, love lives and careers of both the friends and how one of them sacrifices his life at the cost of his career.

Netru Indru
Veera, a forest brigand was killed by police officers. A police officer who is suspected to have become this brigand’s man has gone underground and a team of cops (Richard, Bharani and co) are sent to the forest to capture/kill him. They meet Akhila (Arundhati), a woman who claims to live in the forest, who, they think is a prostitute. Meanwhile, in a parallel track, there is a young woman Dhamini (Manochitra), who agrees to be driven to the same forest by Sivaji (Vimal), a debauched car driver.

Dhilluku Dhuddu
The film is a love story with elements of horror. The protagonist is a man who shows off his bravery and also manages to scare ghosts.

Vaaliba Raja
The film begins with Karthik (Sethu) meeting psychiatrist Valeba Raja (Santhanam) to discuss about his life story. Apparently Karthik has two love stories. He falls in love with Sweety (Nushrath Bharucha) on first sight but when she bashes a guy for wrongly interpreting her friendship as love, our hero decides to put ‘Project Sweety’ on hold. Meanwhile, Karthik’s family plans to marry him to Shalu (Vishaka Singh) but the former tells about his so-called love story to the latter and she offers to help him out by telling her parents they need fifteen days to take a firm decision on wedding. During the process, Shalu and Karthik develop a liking for each other but suddenly Sweety too reciprocates his love to our hero. The rest of the story is all about whether Karthik marries Shalu or not.

Un Samayal Arayil
Kalidasa (Prakash Rai) works in the state archaeological department and is a food lover, he is 45 years old and remains unmarried. His only companion is his cook, Krishna (Thambi Ramaiah). Naveen (Tejus) is Kalidasa’s nephew who comes to stay with him while looking for a job. Kalidasa has a normal life until he gets a misdialed phone call from Gowri (Sneha), a dubbing artiste living with her friend Meghana (Samyukta Hornad). Gowri rings to order a Dosa from a restaurant, but gets Kalidasa instead. Their conversations do not go well at first, but a long-distance romance develops due to their common interest—cooking and food. Kalidasa is a born gourmet while Gowri is indulging in culinary activities in memory of her dead mother. Kalidasa starts to let Gowri into the secrets of baking with a multi-layered cake called “Joan’s Rainbow”.
Kalidasa and Gowri both get the jitters before their first face-to-face meeting, as each becomes conscious of their own physical appearances, and both decide to send younger and better looking substitutes instead, Naveen and Meghana. When they meet, neither Naveen nor Meghana realises that the other person is a substitute, since they introduce themselves as Kalidasa and Gowri respectively. Naveen thinks that Kalidasa is actually in love with Meghana while Meghana thinks that Gowri is in love with Naveen. They attempt to sabotage their older counterpart’s relationship by telling Kalidasa and Gowri respectively that the person they met would be unsuitable for them due to huge age difference and personality type. Kalidasa and Gowri try to forget each other and end up feeling sad for a long duration of the movie. Finally, Kalidas gives in to his loneliness and calls up Gowri and they both decide to meet face to face. Both of them decide to meet each other honestly to get it over with. Naveen and Meghana, who by this time had started to develop feelings for each other, are confused worried upon hearing this as they are afraid their true identity will be revealed to the other person. Naveen finally admits to Meghana that he is not the real Kalidasa and Meghana too explains her side of the story. They both realise the confusion and call Kalidasa to apologise and narrate all the incidents unknown to them. Kalidasa and Gowri finally meet each other at the planned museum and their relationship begins.

Oru Naal Koothu
Three women face challenges in their process of getting married. Rajkumar (Dinesh), who is in love with his colleague Kavya (Nivetha Pethuraj), is reluctant to marry her, owing to her superior economic background, so much so that he delays talks of marriage. Lakshmi (Miya) is visited by several suitors, and every one of them is rejected by her father (Nagineedu), whose greediness makes him wait every time for a suitor who is per the family’s status. Bhaskar (Lingesh) agrees to marry Susheela (Riythvika) but gets cold feet and calls off the marriage. The story unfolds, telling how each of the protagonists attempts to fight the dogma of arranged marriage.

Idhu Enna Maayam
Arun, a struggling theatre artiste, and his friends start a website that helps men to unite with the women of their dreams. Everything turns upside down when Arun has to put his own love at risk.

Velaiilla Pattadhari 2
The film opens two years after the events of the first film, with Anitha Constructions Civil Engineer, Raghuvaran (Dhanush) winning the Civil Engineer of the Year 2016 Award and is an executive member of his company now, along with a parking spot. His wife, Dr. Shalini (Amala Paul) becomes an authoritative, nagging wife, who controls him. She has resigned her job to take care of the household, after marriage. Raghuvaran is also dismissive about his wife getting another job. Raghuvaran efficiently completes construction projects assigned to him, with the help of about 200 unemployed young Civil, Mechanical and Electrical engineers, who are his friends. Vasundhara (Kajol), a chairman of a big construction company in South India, Vasundhara Constructions, witness the announcement of Raghuvaran’s victory at the Engineer of the Year 2016 Awards and finds out about him. She makes Raghuvaran a job offer, but he humbly refuses, having been interested in creating his own construction company, VIP Constructions.

Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham
The film begins in a modern heaven where Lord Paramasivan (Subbu Panchu) gives orders to Narada (Manobala) to pick four people for his Thiruvilaiyadal. The candidates picked are Ramarajan (Jai), a Siddha doctor; Ganesh (VTV Ganesh), a helpless man who is the husband of a local female don; Gopi (Sathyan), a future politician and son of a selfish politician; and Krishna (Rajkumar), a budding actor. Paramasivan and Narada see all the four’s routines and premises. Ramarajan falls in love with a singer Jayshree (Niveda Thomas) and wins her heart. Engaged for marriage after 26 days, the quartet plans to fix a bachelor party at Bangkok. When they reach Bangkok, they enjoy it and flirt with girls at the party. They are drunk, and when they wake up, they find themselves abandoned in a tropical island in Bangkok. They try many ways to escape but are unsuccessful. Six months have elapsed, and Paramasivan gives them a final chance, which is a motorboat of pirates arriving to explore the island. The quartet begs them to take them to Chennai, but they refuse to help them and flee, but the quartet fights them back and escapes the island in the boat, abandoning the pirates on the island. After reaching Chennai, they have a happy ending except Gopi. Ramarajan finds out about Jayshree’s marriage, so he goes to the marriage and finally marries Jayshree, implying the groom as an American software engineer and tells him to marry another girl by wishing him all the best. In a post-credits scene, the film mentions behind the scenes.
