Saithan
The film opens with Dinesh (Vijay Antony) and his boss (Y. G. Mahendra) visiting a psychiatrist. Here, Dinesh tells the doctor that he had been listening to a voice for a few days and it has been troubling him. Upon questioning the source of the voice, Dinesh tells that the voice sounds like that of God, if he were present really. The doctor asks Dinesh to come along with him for a personal treatment where Dinesh tells him that he had killed his friend Ravi. The doctor asks Dinesh to relax and hypnotises him in his sleep where he asks him various questions. It is revealed that a clever Dinesh had been recently married to a beautiful orphan Aishwarya (Arundhati Nair) who had contacted him through a matrimonial site. After their return from their Honeymoon trip, Dinesh starts hallucinating and listening to voices in his head. Also, his best friend Ravi who comes to help him gets killed in an accident due to Dinesh. The voice in Dinesh’s head keeps telling him to die and Dinesh sees miserable things on TV screens, computer screens and distorted bruised faces near the windows. After the treatment, the doctor tells Dinesh not to wander off alone and tells his boss that Dinesh has got disturbed memories of his past life.

Khaleja
The story revolves around a remote village in Andhra Pradesh plagued by a strange disease killing a lot of people. The soothsayer of the village predicts that God would come to their village for rescue. Meanwhile, Raju (Mahesh Babu) a cab driver in Hyderabad goes to Rajasthan to handover an insurance cheque to a man’s family who dies in his car. In a strange situation, Raju meets a man from the village and gets to know about their problem. Soon Raju realizes he is none other than the God-sent, the soothsayer predicted, and the rest of the story is all about how Raju takes up the responsibility to rescue the village from the clutches of evil.

Thuppakki
An army captain visits Mumbai to be with his family and find a suitable bride. However, an explosion in the city sets him off on a mission to find and disable a terrorist sleeper cell in the city.

Moondru Mugam
Before dying at the hands of a criminal, a police officer swears that he will return as a reincarnation to seek revenge. Consequently, fate brings together his twin sons who were separated at birth.

Revenge for a man who exposes and deals with a fake marriage. Supposedly based on a fake marriage racket. Run by four advocates who have oversaw more than 3,500 such weddings.

Madarasi
Kashi lives a middle-class lifestyle with his mom and dad. When his honest father refuses to change his testimony in order to accommodate some gangsters, they kill him and then his mother. A traumatized Kashi grows up and takes up crime as a career, is arrested and lands in Allahabad Jail. This is where he meets and befriends another convict, Shiva. The second time both men meet is at a restaurant in Mumbai where Shiva is in the company of his wife, Meena, and Kashi is with his fiancée, Anjali. Kashi has never forgotten his parents’ assailants, and has already found and killed two of them. He does locate the third killer and guns him down. Quite unknown to both men, they work for rival underworld dons and estranged brothers, Mani and Ravi Verma. And the third time the two men will meet will be at the behest of Shiva – who has an unusual mission for Kashi. The question remains will Kashi meet with Shiva, and even he if dares, will he commit himself to this mission – knowing fully well that it may be a devious plot to ensnare and then kill him.

Kalaignan
The story revolves around a Tamil pop singer Inderjeet based in Bangalore who has a large female following. The movie opens with the death of a back-up dancer, Sandhya, in Inderjeet’s group. Soon a police detective is put in charge of the investigation. Although the police suspect Inderjeet as he is very short-tempered, they have no evidence linking him to the crime. Meanwhile, Divya, Sandhya’s sister, arrives at her aunt Dr. Prabhavathy’s house to find out the truth about Sandhya’s death. She goes to meet Inderjeet but is put off by his arrogance. She talks to his manager, Dr. Harichandra Prasad, and other musicians who all have differing opinions about Sandhya.

Aegan
Aegan’s story is based around Shiva (Ajith Kumar), a CB-CID officer, and his efforts to foil the terrorist John Chinnappa (Suman). Shiva is simultaneously attempting to mend relations with his father’s estranged first wife and his half-brother Narain (Navdeep). Complications ensue.
John is a scientist who had created tablets by operating on human guinea pigs. His ploys have always been controversial but inconclusive due to lack of witnesses. However, an ex-gang member General Ram Prasad (Devan) became a police approver and is on the verge of revealing John’s ploys to the police. However, he is on the run to avoid charges. The case falls to Commissioner Karthikeyan (Nassar), Shiva’s father, who assigns his son to go and help solve the mission.

Aayirathil Oruvan
In 1279 A.D., the downfall of the Chola dynasty seems imminent as the Pandyas drive the Chola people out of their kingdom in southern India. To escape them and save the life of his successor the Chola emperor sends his son along with the Chola people to a secret territory. The refugees take along an idol sacred to the Pandyas, angering them. To capture the escaped Cholas and the stolen idol, the Pandyas extend their invasion to unexplored territories but cannot find them.
Centuries later, in 2009, Indian archaeologists continue searching for the existence of the lost Chola group based on clues left by the ancient Pandyan warriors. All archaeologists who attempted to search for the secret land have disappeared. Archaeologist Chandramouli is the most recent person to have gone missing suddenly.

Kandha Kadamba Kathir Vela
Parvathi (Latha) is a rich and arrogant woman who leads her life with her three sons – Kandha (Prabhu), Kadamba (S.Ve. Sekar) and Kathirvela (Vivek). The sons are very obedient towards their mother and they run a restaurant in Chennai. Parvathi also had a daughter (Bhuvaneshwari) who married Vadivelan (Vadivelu), a barber following which Parvathi disowns her daughter. Vadivelan decides to teach a lesson for Parvathi. He understands that Parvathi’s sons are in love with girls from economically backward community and sets a plan to get them married against Parvathi’s wishes. Kandha is married to Rubini (Roja), Kadamba to Ragini (Kovai Sarala) and Kathir to Rohini (Nirosha).
