
Naan Rajavaga Pogiren
Raja (Nakul) is a kick boxer, a happy-go-lucky guy who falls madly in love with Valli (Chandni) who is a law student. She is into a lot of social causes and assists Kamaraj (Manivannan) who is fighting a losing battle against a thug Isaikimuthu. Valli along with her senior (Kasturi) tries to re-open Kamaraj’s suicide case and has evidence to prove that it was a murder, she is on the run. No, our macho hero turns her savior and tried hard to protect her. There is Reema (Avani Modi) and Wahab, friends of Raja who helps him. How Raja fights all the goons single-handedly and triumphs forms the story.

Lovely
The movie revolves around Chandru (Karthik) and his lover Niveditha (Malavika) in the backdrop of Ooty. Niveditha’s father Mahadevan (Manivannan) is against love marriages and he finds out that his daughter Niveditha is in love with someone. Mahadevan asks for the details of Niveditha’s lover. But Niveditha as per Chandru’s plan, hands over Azhagesh’s (Vivek) (who happens to be Chandru’s friend), photo to Mahadevan and informs him as her lover. Mahadevan sends some goons to attack Azhagesh and the proceedings happen comically.
Meanwhile, Chandru and Niveditha keeps planning on how to make Mahadevan nod for their wedding. One day, Mahadevan’s car gets repaired on the way. Chandru along with his family also comes on the same way. Seeing Mahadevan helpless on the road, Chandru picks him up and drops him at home thereby getting into good books of Mahadevan. Slowly, Mahadevan and Chandru become good family friends. But still, Chandru and Niveditha do not reveal their love to their parents and are happy that both families are in good terms now.

Priyamana Thozhi
Ashok (Madhavan) and Julie (Sree Devi) have been friends ever since childhood and they don’t share any love interest. Ashok falls in love with Nandini (Jyothika), a rich girl with whom he marries, and although Julie’s closeness to Ashok initially irritates Nandini, she subsequently accepts it. Julie falls in love with a guy called Michael (Vineeth), a cricketer who’s hoping for a place in the Indian criket team and Ashok happens to be his main opponent. When Ashok gets selected, Michael’s father strikes a deal with Ashok that the marriage between his son and Julie will only take place if Ashok steps down and let Michael substitute him, to which Ashok agrees for friendship’s sake. When Michael learns of this at the end, he restores the severed ties between himself and Ashok, and the movie ends upon a happy note.

Chandi Veera
As a child, Paari (Atharvaa) lost his father who tried to stop the war between his native and neighboring village as they fought over sharing a pond water. Years later, Paari is a young man who returns from Singapore but the battle between two villages is still on. Mean while, Paari is in love with Thamarai (Anandhi), daughter of rich village man (Lal) who also owns the pond and is adamant not to supply water to the nearby village.

Penguin
Rhythm, leading a happy life and about to have her second child, is traumatized by the nightmares in which she sees an umbrella man harming her lost son. She sets off on a dangerous journey, along with her trained dog, to unravel the secrets behind the nightmares and to protect her loved ones.

Oru Oorla
Unwanted by the other members of his family, Theri, a scrap yard worker, turns an alcoholic after the death of his mother. However, his life undergoes a sea change after his sister-in-law delivers a girl child. He turns a new leaf, the reason for his transformation being his belief that his mother has reborn as his niece. He promptly assumes the responsibility of protecting and providing for the child. It is under these circumstances that his brother ends up having a fight with a sex worker. The spat turns ugly and results in a tragedy.

Kalyanaraman
Chinnadurai (Major Sundararajan) owns a huge estate that grows and processes tobacco and tea leaves. Due to advancing age, he is concerned about leaving control to his son, Kalyana (Kamal Hassan) and the cunning deceit of his manager, Ramiah (Thengai Srinivasan). Kalyana is immature and naive, and easily manipulated by the cook, Samipillai (V.K. Ramaswamy). He is also deeply in love with Shenbagam (Sridevi). Ramiah, Samipillai, Perumal (Senthamarai)(Shenbagam’s father), and Ligappa (a hired thug) plot to murder Chinnadurai and swindle the property from Kalyana. Ligappa mortally wounds Chinnadurai, and on his death bed he confesses to his son that he was born a twin, abandoned his first wife Rajulakshmi (Puspalatha)and his brother Raman (Kamal Hassan). After his father’s death, he conveys this information to the cook, who tells him he will go to Madras and bring his relatives home. Instead, Samipillai goes to a side show, and hires a married couple Rangamani (Manorama) and Kittu, to pretend to be the lost mother and son. One day the entire gang is in a room, laughing at how they had duped Kalyana and will steal everything. He overhears, and runs to tell the police. They chase after him and throw him off a cliff, observed by Shenbagam, who goes mad. Kalyana’s ghost travels to Madras and confides everything to his brother, Raman. He wants his brother to go home, exact revenge, and take care of Shenbagam…..
