With their parents preoccupied with their new careers, a young girl and her brother befriend a talking monkey who is struggling to be taken seriously as an actor.

The film begins in a modern heaven where Lord Paramasivan (Subbu Panchu) gives orders to Narada (Manobala) to pick four people for his Thiruvilaiyadal. The candidates picked are Ramarajan (Jai), a Siddha doctor; Ganesh (VTV Ganesh), a helpless man who is the husband of a local female don; Gopi (Sathyan), a future politician and son of a selfish politician; and Krishna (Rajkumar), a budding actor. Paramasivan and Narada see all the four’s routines and premises. Ramarajan falls in love with a singer Jayshree (Niveda Thomas) and wins her heart. Engaged for marriage after 26 days, the quartet plans to fix a bachelor party at Bangkok. When they reach Bangkok, they enjoy it and flirt with girls at the party. They are drunk, and when they wake up, they find themselves abandoned in a tropical island in Bangkok. They try many ways to escape but are unsuccessful. Six months have elapsed, and Paramasivan gives them a final chance, which is a motorboat of pirates arriving to explore the island. The quartet begs them to take them to Chennai, but they refuse to help them and flee, but the quartet fights them back and escapes the island in the boat, abandoning the pirates on the island. After reaching Chennai, they have a happy ending except Gopi. Ramarajan finds out about Jayshree’s marriage, so he goes to the marriage and finally marries Jayshree, implying the groom as an American software engineer and tells him to marry another girl by wishing him all the best. In a post-credits scene, the film mentions behind the scenes.
Naveen (Naveen), Sendrayan (Sendrayan), Kuberan (Kuberan), and Vellaichami aka White (Rajaji) are four youngsters. The story begins with a meeting of them in a police station where they are held in connection with a robbery case. Disillusioned with society and their place in it, they plan to rob White’s treacherous uncle, who they believe has left for a pilgrimage with his entire family. Instead, they find them at home and get involved in a quagmire involving moneylenders, enforcers and the mafia.

Maalya instantly becomes strong, defeats the regions’ two top wrestlers single-handedly, and becomes famous overnight. Ashwarayapati is a beggar, who is blessed with infinite riches by Devi Maa Lakshmi, so that she can spread the word that Wealth is the best boon for human beings. She is subsequently crowned the Queen of Ashwarayapur. She hears of Vidyapati, meets him, hears him sing, is pleased, attempts to reward him, and also wants him to sing for her in her palace, but he refuses both. Angered, she drives home her horse-driven carriage, almost meets with an accident, but is rescued by Maalya. She then decides to make Maalya her Senapati, and also invites Vidyapati to her palace. Maalya accepts the position, Vidyapati accepts the invitation but humiliates her even more and she has him imprisoned. Little do these three know that their live have seen improvements mainly due to Sage Narad’s mischievous prompting of Devi Maas’ Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati, in a bid to find out who is more powerful of these three. These three mortals must now enter into a conflict and each must do their best to prove whether Knowledge (Saraswati), Wealth (Lakshmi), or Strength (Parvati) reigns supreme.
Idhu Enna Maayam
Pichaimoorthy (Ram), a barber, being forced by his wife, Subathra (Poorna), to accompany her and their two kids, to meet her brother, Raghu, who has eloped with a girl from an effluent family. They need to get the two of them married before the girl’s parents interfere. However, en route, Pichai gets into a skirmish with Manga (Mysskin), a gangster who is out on parole and has to go to prison by that evening. An enraged Manga swears that he will chop off the former’s limb by sundown. Pichai runs all over the city to escape from Mange and his gang. Can Pichai survive the day? The film ends with an inspirational message that knife must be used only to cut the umbilical cord between a mother&baby and not to harm people.
An NRI wants to sell his ancestral home, but later hears rumours of it being haunted. Unwilling to sell the property at a throwaway price, he asks a team of four guys to spend a night in the house and prove that it isn’t a ghost den.
Sathyamurthy (Vimal) is the son of a schoolteacher DK (Jayaprakash) in Kumbakonam. Sathya is a happy-go-lucky youngster who yearns to do business. To achieve his ‘mission’, he borrows money from all quarters and is almost drowned in debts. Even as his father advises him to start leading life in a right manner, enters Selvi (Sanusha), a student. Sathya gets acquainted to Selvi, and his life takes a turn. Meanwhile, Selvi is in trouble because her uncle Pandiyan (Sarvajit), a rowdy, wants her to marry him. This proposal was ignored by Selvi, and she hated Pandiyan because he killed her father (Santhana Bharathi). One day while goofing around with Sathya, Selvi loses the necklace Pandiyan had given her. Sathya and Selvi escape to Chennai, but Pandiyan and a corrupt inspector come and trouble them. Sathya switches on the police’s cordless phone, through which an Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sampath Raj) comes to know about Pandiyan and arrests him. The film ends with Sathya opening a cable TV station and becoming successful.
