Sandakozhi 2
The film begins seven years later after the events which occurred in the prequel Sandakozhi. Balu (Vishal) arrives from New York City seven years later to his birthplace. He and his father Durai Ayya (Rajkiran) have to protect a young man from a woman who has sworn vengeance on his entire clan. Balu and Durai are often compared to a couple of lions, and the two characters behave so. This is why when Pechi (Varalaxmi Sarathkumar) and the men in her family try to hunt down Anbu (Johny Hari), the last male in a clan they have sworn revenge against, because of her husband’s live murder in front of the whole village, but they are unable to do anything. Meanwhile, Balu falls for Sembaruthi (Keerthy Suresh), a village damsel, after losing his loved one seven years ago, Hema (Meera Jasmine). The rest of the film shows how Balu deals with his ups and downs of his family problems given by Pechi and the massive hospitalization of his father after a slit in his throat.

Naan Aanaiyittal

Meaghamann
The story begins in Goa, where 6 dead bodies are washed ashore. The Goa drug lord Jothi (Ashutosh Rana) is responsible for this. The Police Department of India is unable to capture him for nearly a decade because not a single person has seen him in person as he is constantly on the move and has no permanent aides or accomplices.
Chitti (Mahadevan) is in charge for the drug trafficking in and around Goa. One day, he receives a call from Jothi about a missing drug consignment. Chitti and his men are unable to hunt down the culprit. It is revealed that Shiva (Arya) is the mastermind behind the drug theft and is working for Chitti as his most trusted henchman. Chitti, along with Shiva and his nephew Guru (Harish Uthaman), run an underworld drug empire in Goa.

Iyer IPS
Sathyaraj in a dual role. One role is of an IPS officer (Iyer) and the other is of a dada (Venkatachalapathy). The dada throughout the film has a dark skin and sports a bald head.
Iyer believes that dadas and rowdies must be eliminated through encounters. But his father thinks one does not have the right to take any life. Dada Venkatachalapthy plants bombs at various places in the city and puts the blame on Muslims. Iyer takes Venkatachalapathy into custody. His sons Pasupathi and Gajapathi try to kill Iyer. Now Iyer’s father turns against him and joins the villain. This sets off a chain of events leading to murders.

Paayum Puli
When a smuggler kills his sister, a naive, immature man (Rajinikanth) vows to deliver justice for her death and joins a martial arts school. He trains hard there to become a master fighter, honing his fighting skills. Taking on a new identity, Paayum Puli (Pouncing Tiger), he sets off for revenge, but the affection of a beautiful woman (Radha) soon puts a hitch in his plans. Manorama, Silk Smitha and Jaishankar also star in this action-packed movie.

Kaavalan
Bhoominathan (Vijay) idolises Muthuramalingam (Rajkiran), a rich powerful landlord, and at the request of his parents, he accepts to work for Muthuramalingam as his bodyguard. There enters Muthuramalingam’s rival, who has lost his daughter since she committed suicide, the reason being rejection by Muthuramalingam’s son. While Bhoomi protects Muthuramalingam, his rival threatens the life of his daughter Meera (Asin)
Bhoomi is sent to college along with Meera and her friend Madhu (Mithra Kurian) to protect them from the threat. Bhoomi joins the same class where Meera studies, as he has previously discontinued his education. Meera does not like Bhoomi following her as a bodyguard, and therefore plans to divert him. Meera calls Bhoomi over his mobile phone from a private number and introduces herself as “Ammukutty”. Initially, Bhoomi hates the mobile call as it will disturb him but later on develops a liking towards Ammukutty and slowly love blossoms for Bhoomi without knowing that it is Meera herself.
