Surya (Sanjeev) is the son of a local dada (Adithya Menon) and studies at the Chengalpet Matriculation School. His mother, who is separated from her husband, wants him to grow up as a model citizen. Unfortunately, he has more of his father’s genes and gets expelled for beating up a teacher. Surya, who is attached to his mother, gives a promise that he will not take the path to violence again, and is admitted to Lake View School in Ooty, described by its principal (Thalaivasal Vijay) as the “best school in south Asia”. Surya is looked down by his snooty seniors led by Rohit (Rohit Rathod) and his gang. The only person who stands with him is Babloo (Karthik Sabesh), and the principal’s daughter Tanya (Riya Bamniyal), who has a soft corner for him. Under extreme provocation, Surya keeps his cool as he tries to live up to his mother’s expectations. However, he breaks down after Babloo is murdered and goes on a revenge spree. The film ends on a tragic note, as the message of the film is conveyed.

Irukku Aana Illai
The movie begins in a bar, where an aspiring director meets his friends. One of his friend, Meenakshi Sundaram (Aadhavan) says he has a beautiful horror story script from his own experience and narrates what happened in his friend’s life.
Venkat (Vivanth), is a software engineer who is unlucky in whatever he does and is a sore loser. He is often taunted by his colleagues and is a loner. His only friend is Meenakshi Sundaram. One day, his boss at work admonishes him in front of the whole office for his performance, so in sadness he gets drunk that night and is involved in an automobile accident, where a young girl Divya (Eden), is killed. He panics and leaves the place and goes to his house.

Ayya
The movie starts in 1970s, where there is heavy drought in southern districts of Tamil Nadu. Ayyadurai (Sarath Kumar) and Maadasaamy (Napoleon) are close friends and landlords of different castes in Tenkasi town in Tirunelveli district, and they try hard to help people and save them from dying during the drought. Local MLA (OAK Sundar), also a relative of Madasami, smuggles rice given by the government and people protest, knowing about this. The MLA denies knowing anything about the sanctioned rice. That night, he starts to smuggle the rice, but the lorries are waylaid and ransacked by the people led by Madasamy. The MLA comes there and starts shooting towards people’s legs. Ayyadurai sees the MLA aiming for Madasamy’s head and pushes him. Then Ayyadurai beats the MLA using hilt of the gun, following which he dies. But the local people support Ayyadurai and save him from police and also urge him to contest in the assembly by-elections.

Sajan Joseph Alukka (Kunchako Boban) is a soft-spoken and studious young man, while his junior Priyamvada (Meera Jasmine) is smart and outgoing. Her close friend is in love with Sajan, but he avoids her by saying that his only ambition in life is to study hard and become an IAS. But Priya follows him and digs out the truth that though he hails from a rich family, his father has now gone bankrupt and has no money even to pay the exam fee. On hearing this, her friend ditches him. Slowly Priya starts having a soft corner for him. She even pays his fees, but Sajan tries to avoid her and treats this as an insult.
