Mayandi Kudumbathar
The film is set in the backdrop of a village near Usilampatti, in Madurai district. Mayandi (Manivannan) and Virumandi (GM Kumar) are siblings with disputes over settling their properties. Mayandi insists giving a portion of their ancestral properties to their step sister for which Virumandi does not agree. This creates enmity in Virumandi and his sons against Mayandi and his family.
Mayandi has four sons(Thavasi (Ponvannan), Virumandi (Seeman), Cheenisamy (KP Jagannath) and Paraman (Tarun Gope)) and one daughter (Mayakka (Deepa)). All the sons except Paraman get married and they live as a joint family. Paraman falls in love with his schoolmate Poongodi (Poongodi). Paraman gets admission in to engineering and Mayandi sells a portion of his land to pay fees for Paraman. This angers the wives of Thavasi and Virumandi. They keep insisting on partitioning the properties between four sons thinking that Mayandi is spending more for the education of Paraman while the other three sons are not educated properly. But Paraman’s brothers are so affectionate towards him and they prefer staying together. Suddenly Mayandi passes away due to electric shock when he steps over a wire unknowingly. Now the wives of Thavasi and Virumandi again keep insisting on property partition. And the properties get partitioned into three leaving Paraman as his portion was already sold by Mayandi to pay the college fees.₹ 2.3 million

Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar
Naam Iruvar Namakku Iruvar is a 1998 Tamil film directed by Sundar C. Prabhu Deva and Meena played the leading roles, whilst the film featured an extensive cast, along with a bevy of supporting actors. The film released on 14 January 1998 and became a big success at the box office. The film was loosely based on the 1995 Hollywood movie Two Much.

Prabhu(Prasanna), Ilango(Krishna), Sundar(Karthik), Priya and Indra are the best of friends at college, swearing to never lose touch with one another later in life. They manage to get jobs in the same company but Ilango, was whisked away to his village by his dictatorial father(Vijayan) and forced into marriage with Eeswari(Kanika). He then runs away while the friends assume that he is in Bombay with his new wife. A few years later the remaining four are still friends, working in the same company and even living in one house. Prabhu meets Eeswari on the train and without knowing that she is Ilango’s wife, falls in love with her. When the truth comes out she becomes good friends with the gang while they promise to find Ilango and reunite them.

En Purushan Kuzhandhai Maadhiri
Murugesan (Livingston) is a rich landlord in a village but is illiterate as well as innocent. He is in love with his cousin Maheshwari (Devayani) right from childhood. Maheshwari also likes Murugesan but she wants him to overcome his innocence and be brave. Santhamoorthy (Ponnambalam) is Murugesan’s half brother and enmity prevails between him and Murugesan. Chinthamani (Vindhya) is a dancer who comes to Murugesan’s village to perform. Chinthamani’s mother forces her into prostitution but Murugesan saves her and accommodates in his farm house.
Murugesan and Maheshwari’s wedding is fixed and the day before wedding, Santhamoorthy tries to kill Murugesan but Murugesan fights back the goons. Murugesan who is drunk now rushes to his farmhouse to get some weapons to kill Santhamoorthy. Chinthamani who lives in the farm house tries to stop Murugesan from committing the murder and accidentally they enter into a physical relationship. Murugesan feels guilty of the incident and wants to cancel his wedding with Maheshwari. But Maheshwari’s father (R. Sundarajan) convinces Murugesan to not cancel the wedding.

Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy
Elangovan (Thangar Bachan) is a school teacher in Chidambaram who is a jack of all trades but master of none. He spends time with friends boozing, gambling and trying out new business that always fails.
His wife is Thenmozhi (Navya Nair), and they have two daughters. Elangovan’s father (Pyramid Natarajan) and father-in-law (R. Sundarrajan) try to make him responsible towards his family, but our man refuses to take up anything serious in life. On everyone’s advice, Elangovan goes to Sabarimala after taking Vrath but returns to continue as Sanyasi without being least bothered about his duties towards family. Fearing his wife and relatives, he decides to join a mutt, but there also he is unable to sustain.
In the meantime Thenmozhi works hard to educate her children. She is mentally prepared to live without her husband when Elangovan returns and pleads with her as usual. But this time Thenmozhi is not willing to pardon him and she ignores him. What happens then forms the climax and message of the film.
