Yaaradi Nee Mohini
He makes several bids to obtain employment but all goes in vain due to his poor language skills and inadequate educational qualifications. All his friends settle in life, but he continues to struggle in finding employment. Vasu has two faithful friends in Cheenu (Karthik Kumar), and Ganesh (Karunaas). His father (Raghuvaran), who is a teacher, is always critical of him for being an irresponsible person. This just added to his list of woes. At this juncture, Vasu catches a glimpse of a woman named Keerthi (Nayanthara), and immediately falls in love with her. He learns that she works for a software solutions firm. Luckily for him, Vasu finally secures employment in the same firm. Keerthi eventually turns out to be a short-tempered young woman. On a business trip, Vasu accompanies her along with two other colleagues (Jeeva and Manobala), to Australia. Here he reveals his feelings of love to her. She immediately turns him down, saying that she comes from an orthodox family, and her marriage has already been arranged with her uncle’s son. A depressed Vasu returns to India thereafter. Unable to see his son in depression, his father decides to meet Keerti. She abuses him for recommending his son’s love, and accidentally slaps both Vasu and his father. Later that night, Vasu’s father dies of a heart attack. In order to help change Vasu’s mood, Cheenu manages to persuade him to come along to his family house in the country. Coincidentally, on the train journey, Keerthi is revealed to be the fiancee of Cheenu. However, their grandfather’s (K. Viswanath) thoughts of getting them married earlier are put aside because Cheenu and Keerthi leave the house to have their own identity. This causes heartburn to their grandfather. With the passing of a few days, the parents of Keerthi and Cheenu decide to get them married to appease their grandfather. After several turns of events, Keerthi realizes that she is in love with Vasu instead. When Vasu asks her to forget him, during a midnight meeting, because he believes that it would create problems in their happy family, Cheenu himself overhears their conversation. During the wedding, Cheenu tries to force Vasu and Keerthi to confess their relationship to everyone who is present. But when they hesitate to do so, Cheenu stops the marriage himself, by lying to his elders that he has a secret wife in Chennai. When Cheenu comes under fire from his relatives, Vasu tells them the truth, and is driven out of the house. He is joined only by the grandma of the house, who agrees to accompany him as she reminds Vasu of his late father. In time, the rest of Cheenu and Keerthi’s family comes to stay with Vasu for a few days. But Cheenu’s grandfather refuses to enter the house, telling Vasu he is still angry with him, and needs time to change himself somehow. The movie ends when Vasu and Keerthi became a happy couple and live together happily.

Raja Rani
The movie begins with the marriage of John (Arya) and Regina (Nayantara) at a church. The marriage is an arranged one, to which both have consented reluctantly to make their parents happy. After the marriage they live together as strangers in an apartment, where the neighbors are upset with John who comes home drunk every night, which he does deliberately to annoy Regina. Eventually, Regina applies for a transfer to Australia to stay away from John.

Bhuvana, A lonely girl who is parentless longs for true love and parental care. Though Bhuvana is a granddaughter of a rich businessman he has no time to spend time with the child. The child wants to travel in the Rickshaw along with other children and she wants to be with Rickshaw Mama (Rickshaw uncle) aka Raja who takes of care of kids with love. Bhuvana is been attempted to kidnap and Raja saves her. Bhuvana is very adamant to go to school in the Rickshaw and her care taker appoints Bhuvana to drop in and pick up from school. Initially Rickshaw Man wonders why is he appointed for pick-up and drop when the child itself is rich enough. Later finds out that the girl is longing for love and affection. He takes care of Bhuvana with full affection and care and looks after her like a father. Since Bhuvana is under his care the kidnappers are not able to kidnap her. Raja brings home a woman and she is very fond of him and she starts loving him. However she is jealous of the child and Raja’s affection for the girl, she wanted him solely for her. She drives away the child by saying that Raja will love and take care of his own kid only rather than her. This drives Bhuvana crazy and she runs away. Unfortunately meeting with an accident. Bhuvana is admitted in the hospital and her grand father comes to visit the child. Rickshaw man finds the truth and rushes to see her in the hospital. The grand father is shocked to see him and asks his men to drive him away and Raja is injured. He also finds the truth that the child is his own daughter.

Pandi
Pandi (Raghava Lawrence) does menial jobs in Dubai and saves every penny he earns and sends it to his family in Usilampatti. A flashback reveals that he was a carefree youth, who is often chided by his father Sundarapandi (Nasser). His elder brother Rajapandi (Sriman) is the blue-eyed boy of his father. However Pandi’s mother Sivagami (Saranya Ponvannan) showers all her love and affection on him. His mother has a dream of building her own house in her land. Rajapandi says Pandi to go to a marriage ceremony, while on the train he met Bhuvana (Sneha), a cop’s daughter in the other village and after a sequence of events romance blossoms between them. one afternoon Bhuvana gives all the money she has on her person to Pandi and convinces him to take her out to lunch at a restaurant. After eating his lunch, he went outside to wash his hands and saw his sister and her boyfriend having a conversation. He chases the motorbike on Auto leaving Bhuvana stuck with the bill and no money, having given it all to Pandi. When Pandi eventually catches up with the boyfriend, the boyfriend tells him that they are seriously in love, and he’s going to be coming over to their place with his parents to ask for her hand in marriage. Everything was going well until a couple days later Sundarapandi want the money to buy the jewelry. Pandi’s family receives a shock as Pandi Mother can’t find the money they have saved up to pay for the wedding. Since Pandi is already a known trouble maker and has been to jail already, the father blames him and kicks him out of the house. This happens in front of Bhuvana, who has come to see where he has been the last few days and why he ran away at the restaurant. This incident with his father accusing him of taking the money has convinced her that he took her money the other day and ran and also just using her. In the end, it turns out, his elder brother Rajapandi has run away from the house with his lover and with the money.
A dejected father is consoled by Pandi, who borrows money from a private money-lender and completes the wedding. Meanwhile, Pandi tries to make amends with Bhuvana, but she won’t hear any of it. Pandi’s father, seeing the argument, went over and told Bhuvana the truth and how he misjudged his son and it wasn’t him that took the money. The following day, Pandi’s father went to Bhuvan’s house to ask her father to fix a marriage between Pandi and Bhuvana. Bhuvana’s father upon hearing this is furious. He is the local police inspector and knows all about Pandi’s past. He refuses to marry his daughter to a criminal. Bhuvana’s father arrange a marriage for her, but she went to Sundarapandi to say she will die before merry another person than Pandi. Pandi snatched Bhuvana from her house and take her to her father police station and ask her father to approve. Bhuvana father gets angry and says she is not his daughter anymore and he will think his daughter eloped and lost. Pandi merry Bhuvana and as police protection Bhuvana father watch her getting married.
Determined to pay back the loan and help his family overcome their financial constraint, Pandi decides to go abroad and work as conservancy staff. He manages to stabilize his family with his earnings. However, on his return, he is shocked to find his mother dead. Coming to know that it was no natural death, he decides to avenge the killers.
