The murder of a youngster creates confusion among cops when they discover the suspect has a lookalike.

Yet Vijayakumar’s family gets first respect within the circle. The house of their father was equally split into exact 2 halves. Anandbabu who is a relative of Sarathkumar comes to meet him in the village and falls in love with Srija. Vijayakumar comes to know about this and he makes arrangements for Srija’s marriage with K.S.Ravikumar, son of Nagesh. At the end Vijayakumar becomes a good person with the advice of Manjula and a happy end of Anandbabu marrying Srija.

Gandhi’s character is fully explained as a man of nonviolence. Through his patience, he is able to drive the British out of the subcontinent. And the stubborn nature of Jinnah and his commitment towards Pakistan is portrayed.

The film begins with Rahul (Vikranth) coming from the US to India to see his grandparents for the first time. He helps a girl (Diya) who was going to commit suicide due to her upcoming marriage. He also performs comedy with Ondippuli (Vadivelu) and falls in love with Anjali (Lakshmi Rai).

Varun (Vijay Deverakonda) is a video game designer living in the UK. He is the son of Vasudev (Nassar), the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. When consequences make Vasudev resign his post, he decides to pass it on to Varun. Now Chief Minister, Varun accepts this, though he does nothing except play video games. Consequences turn plates negatively to Vasudev, who is sentenced for prison. After Vasudev is arrested, riots take place. In the riots, a bus gets burnt, and a schoolgirl dies in the fire. Varun, who was out to meet his guru Mahendran (Sathyaraj), goes to the spot where the bus was burnt. He is heartbroken hearing the wails of the girl’s mother. He then realizes the importance of his position and stops the riots. This incident paves way for him to gain support.

Muniyasamy, a daring youth falls for Selvi who follows the ideals of socialism. How both of them take on the brutalities of Pandiyan, a ruthless local MLA forms the rest of the story.

Power Paandi is a story about retired stunt master Power Paandi (Rajkiran) living with his son Raghavan (Prasanna), daughter-in-law Prema (Chaaya Singh) and their two children Dhruv (Master Raghav) and Shaksha (Baby Chavvi). Power Paandi is a person who always gets himself into some social causes, in one such instance it becomes a policecase and his scolds him, then he decides to go for bike trip which leads him to his first love Poondhendral (Revathi). The story moves to the flashback and rest of the story narrated with fun and emotions. Actor Dhanush takes the role of a writer and director for Power Pandi for the first time. The movie produced under his own banner ‘Wunder Bar Films’.
