
Katham Katham
Nandha (Nandha Durairaj) is an upright sub-inspector of police who has been transferred 15 times in three years. He is then transferred in a police station based in Pollachi. There, Police Inspector Pandian (Natarajan Subramaniam) is in the pay of Minister Periyannan (Rajagopalan), who runs in own government in the place. Nandha is shocked to note that Pandian and the entire police department are corrupt. Thereafter, Nandha tries hard to enforce the order. Soon, both policemen clash. Pandian becomes an honest policeman after Periyannan’s men attempt to kill him, and he is revived with blood transfusions from the public. However, Nandha does not believe that he has truly changed. After a fellow honest sub-inspector gets killed by Periyannan’s men, Nandha blames Pandian, and through short routes, becomes inspector himself. He arranges for Periyannan and his men to clash with Pandian, but in the ensuing fight, Pandian kills them all, while Nandha walks away.

Magadheera
In 1609 AD, Mitravinda, a princess, and Kala Bhairava, the warrior that she loved, die. 400 years later, the warrior is reincarnated as Harsha, a motorcycle stuntman. He brushes hands with a girl and sparks fly as he begins to recall his past life. Knowing that he is destined to love this young woman, he sets about trying to identify her. Indu does not remember her past life and keeps Harsha at a distance; playing tricks on him until she gets to know him better. However, just as the two begin to fall in love, a sinister force from their shared past returns!

Neranja Manasu
In a destitute hamlet where the denizens make ends meet by committing highway robbery, the birth of the village elder’s grandson Ayyanar (Vijayakanth) gives the community hope for the future. Virtuous from boyhood, he begins to change the town’s fortunes by ratting out his murderous cousin Sivanandi (Sampath Raj) making an enemy in the process. But will Ayyanar’s virtue cost him his life 20 years later when the vengeful Sivanandi gets out of jail?

Rudhramadevi
Ganapatideva was the emperor of the Kakatiya dynasty who rules Kakatiya Empire from Orugallu(present day Warangal, Telangana) as its Capital. With Kakatiya Dynasty at a problem, Ganapatideva’s wife gives birth to a baby girl, but as the Dynasty is in big trouble and the people want a prince, not a princess the minister advises king to announce the baby girl as a boy. Rudramadevi was formally designated as a son and given the male name Rudradeva, through the ancient Putrika ceremony. But, during Rudramadevi’s birth, an astrologer predicted that a baby girl is born to rule the kingdom jointly with her father as his co-regent from 1259–60 under the name of Rudradeva Maharaja.

Amarkalam
Vasu (Ajith) is a ruthless rowdy who lives in a cinema theater owned by Vinu Chakravarthy. He had a tortured childhood and wastes his days by drinking, fighting, and sleeping. It all starts when Vasu’s friend Dhamu loses an Annamalai movie reel to Mohana (Shalini). Vasu and Mohana clash when he attempts to retrieve the reel. Mohana’s family are members of the police, headed by Birla Bose (Nasser), Mohana’s father. At this point, Tulasi Das (Raghuvaran), an ex-mafia “dada” who spent many years in jail because of Bose, comes to the theater. He does not like Bose and hires Vasu to kidnap Mohana. He cries out his woes in the song “Satham Illatha.” Mohana falls in love with him after hearing his pain. When Tulasi realizes Mohana loves Vasu, he hires Vasu to pretend he loves her back. At first it is just pretend, but then he too begins to love her. Tulasi visits Bose to inform him of his daughter’s love for a gangster and realizes Mohana is indeed his daughter. A flashback showing the parted friendship between the two men, and Ganga (Raadhika), Tulasi’s wife, abandons him and their child when she comes to know her husband is a don. Knowing Mohana is his daughter, Tulasi instructs Vasu to give up his love. When Vasu refuses, Tulasi visits Mohana and tells her about his ploy and that Vasu’s love for her was fake. Eventually, Vasu proves to Mohana his love was true and unites with her after a clash between the cops and some goons of the locality.

Theri
Vijay Kumar (Vijay) is an honest and sincere DCP of Chennai. He takes up a case involving the rape and subsequent death of an IT employee Raji. He finds out that the rapist is Ashwin, the son of Labour Minister Vanamaamalai (J. Mahendran). Vijay kills Ashwin and reveals himself as the murderer to Vanamaamalai, who swears to take revenge on him for killing his son. Meanwhile, Vijay falls in love with a medical student Mithra (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) and both eventually get married and lead a happy life. But, Vijay’s happiness is short-lived as Vanamaamalai, his younger brother Ratnam (Azhagam Perumal) and their henchmen barge into his house one night and kill Mithra and Vijay’s mother (Raadhika). They even brutally assault Vijay and attempt to drown Vijay’s baby daughter Niveditha aka Nivi in the bathtub. The dying Mithra manages to rescue Nivi and asks Vijay to take care of her, but not before making him promise that he will quit the police and be a peaceful and loving father to Nivi, following which she dies in Vijay’s arms. Vijay fakes his death, changes his name to Joseph Kuruvilla, maintains a low profile and moves to Kerala with Nivi and his constable friend Rajendran (Rajendran) to protect Nivi from Vanamaamalai and his gang.

Lakshmi
Lakshmi Narayana (Venkatesh), the MD of Lakshmi Group of Companies, is an elder son in a family with two brothers and two sisters. He is very strict about disciplining his brothers so that they become the men their father (Ranganath) wanted them to be, to the point of beating them for coming home drunk. He owns a factory that is worth hundreds of crores. Shailaja a.k.a. Shailu (Charmme Kaur), an employee in Lakshmi’s company, has a huge crush on him. Janardhan (Sayaji Shinde), a former employee of Lakshmi Industries who was accused of forgery, plans to take revenge on Lakshmi by creating division in his family. Soon Lakshmi’s sister falls in love with a man, and he is accepted by Lakshmi, with the marriage concluding in a grand manner. It is later revealed that the man is Janardhan’s nephew. This leads to Lakshmi revealing to his siblings that he and his sister (the youngest of the five) were actually adopted by their parents at a young age as they were orphans who were being ill-treated by their uncles and aunts. All this leads to the splitting of the siblings with Lakshmi and his sister being thrown out of the house by their younger brothers. The only one standing beside Lakshmi are all the people in his factory and his other sister. Lakshmi even ends working in his factory for all this. He even moves into a small house with his sister where he is later joined by his mother. Later, it is revealed that Lakshmi had fallen in love with a girl Nandini (Nayantara) earlier, who was the niece of his foster father. Nandini was threatened by a young man who was the son of a Kolkatabased don Rayudu (Pradeep Rawat). Lakshmi beats up the guy and sends him into a coma, which earns him Rayudu’s wrath. The rest of the story is about how Lakshmi stands up to all these people together.

Modhi Vilayadu
Rajan Vasudev (Kalabhavan Mani) is an intolerable business tycoon who runs the great OPM Group of companies spread across the globe. He meaninglessly topples companies by either buying or taking the majority shares so that his company can spread across. His wife was killed 20 years ago by a rival company owner, which turned him into this way. Udhay Vasudev (Vinay Rai) is his only son, a spoilt kid who drives a Ferrari, spends lakhs everyday, and lives in one of the most sophisticated houses in Chennai. He is the sponsor for his constant companion Madhan (Yuva), who lives with him and local friend Kadukku (N. Santhanam) along with 12 bodyguards (headed by Alse Ram). Udhay meets LR Easwari (Kajal Aggarwal), a music student in Chennai in an accident and falls head on for her. He wants to mingle with her and blackmails her by saying that she has damaged his car and could work by his will to compensate the 10 lakh she owes him, and in a funny turn of events, he makes her his maid-servant. Soon, Madhan falls in love with Easwari, who has also fallen for Udhay.

Chandramukhi
Saravanan, a psychiatrist, meets up with his foster brother Senthilnathan alias Senthil, and his wife Ganga while on vacation. Senthil’s mother Kasthuri wanted Senthil to marry Priya, the daughter of his father’s cousin Kandaswamy, to reunite the two branches of the family after 30 years of separation because Senthil’s father chose to marry Kasthuri instead of Kandaswamy’s sister, Akhilandeshwari. Saravanan learns that Senthil had bought the Vettaiyapuram mansion, despite attempts by the local village elders to dissuade them, and moves in with them. Akhilandeshwari is jealous of Saravanan and plots to kill him with the help of her assistant Oomaiyan.
When the family visits their ancestral temple, the chief priest reveals the reason everyone fears the mansion. A hundred-and-fifty years ago, a king named Vettaiyan travelled to Vijayanagaram in Andhra Pradesh, where he met and fell in love with a dancer named Chandramukhi. However, she did not reciprocate his feelings as she was already in love with a dancer named Gunashekaran. As a result, Vettaiyan took her back to his palace by force. Unknown to him, Chandramukhi made Gunashekaran stay in a house nearby and had meetings with him secretly. When Vettaiyan discovered this, he beheaded Gunashekaran on Durgashtami and burnt Chandramukhi alive. As a result, Chandramukhi’s ghost tried to take revenge on Vettaiyan, who with the help of various priests and sorcerers from all over the country, tames the ghost by locking it up in a room located in the palace’s south-west corner. Priya is in love with Vishwanathan, a dance professor who reciprocates her feelings. Their love is supported by Saravanan, who requests Kandaswamy to arrange their marriage.
