Chandralekha (Srividya), a grieving mother, asks an ex-army man David Kumar (C. Arunpandian) to rescue her son Gunasekaran (Prabhakaran), who is locked up in a military prison. But at the same time, the hideous criminal P. K. Roy (Nassar) appoints the fugitive Pratap (Ramki) to kidnap Gunasekharan from the prison. Both leave for their missions respectively, not knowing what surrender holds in his past and the fugitive takes this personal.

Oru Nadigayin Vakku Moolam
The movie begins with the search for an actress Anjali (Sonia Agarwal) by a scribe (‘Punnagai Poo’ Geetha). Once a sought-after heroine, Anjali vanishes one fine day and efforts to trace her ends in vain. The journalist manages to locate her after several hardships. Cut to flashback, the travails of Anjali is revealed. Anjali is the daughter of a poor folk artiste Devarajulu (‘Yogi’ Devaraj) in Andhra Pradesh. One day, her mother resolves to make her an actress and comes to Kodambakkam. The mother and daughter climb every stairs and go around every studio in Kodambakkam and Vadapalani. They meet with failures everywhere until they are forced to agree for casting couch. One compromise on the part of Anjali bags her heroine’s role. She fortunately makes it big. The nature of her mother changes… She becomes greedy and runs madly behind money. Anjali is exploited by few in the industry. Unable to tolerate all humiliation, Anjali decides to take extreme decision in her life.

Vishwa Thulasi
The film, set in the 1940s and moving to the 1960s, revolves around the emotional story of Thulasi (Nandita Das) returning to her village to become a dance teacher. She cannot bring herself to forget Vishwa (Mammootty), a man she has been in love with for two decades. Memories of Vishwa haunt her constantly, and upon a chance meeting with him, she discovers he too is struggling with his love for her. Both are haunted by the memory of Thulasi’s cousin, a figure who is unable to control his obsession for his cousin and hide his resentment at Thulasi’s feelings for Vishwa. Thulasi (Nandita) comes to Sundarapuri after her guardians – her grandma and uncle – pass away, to work as teacher in a dance school. It is in Sundarapuri that Vishwa (Mammootty) the zamindar whom she had met 20 years ago, lives. They meet again and the feelings that had blossomed in their hearts as teenagers, are revived. Vishwa is unmarried and Thulasi has gone through an unceremonious ritual in the name of matrimony, but fear of societal stigma and innate inhibition keep them asunder. Sensing their intense love for each other, Pattabhi (a very natural essay by ‘Delhi’ Ganesh once again), the manager at Vishwa’s house, helps them overcome their fears. It is then that Fate enters in the form of Siva (Manoj K. Jayan).

Dubai Rani
Srinivas (Ravi Teja) is very popular in his village as Dubai Seenu. He has dreams of going to Dubai to earn lots of money. However, Seenu and his friends reach Mumbai get cheated by a fraudster Nagalingam (Venu Madhav). After realizing that they were cheated, the friends start a Pav Bhaji center with the help of Patnaik (Krishna Bhagavaan), who is also a fraudster.
Madhumati (Nayantara), who was working as an RJ, goes to Mumbai in search of her brother. Seenu meets Madhu in a local train and loses his heart. Luckily, she surfaces right before his Pav Bhaji center. Seenu dares to propose his love, but Madhu does not reply and disappears. While Seenu was in search of Madhu, he meets Chakri (J. D. Chakravarthy). In fact, Seenu helps Chakri, who loved Puja (Neha Bamb), and got them married. Chakri and Puja promise Seenu to help him to go to Dubai. They make all arrangements. They too plan to return to Hyderabad to repay the loan borrowed by Chakri’s father for his education. Just before leaving the office, Neha finds that their boss is none other than Jinna Bhai (Sushant Singh) the most wanted mafia don in India.

The romantic story begins with Senthil (Cheran) setting off on a journey, to invite his friends and family for his forthcoming wedding. Along the way, he encounters various individuals from his past, who bring back memories of three women that have influenced his love life.
The movie begins with Senthil, who runs an advertising agency, boarding a train to visit his native village to invite all his friends for his wedding. During the journey he reminisces his teenage days. The happenings in the school, his tussle with his friends and his first love with his classmate, Kamala (Mallika), are all pictured with fun and drama. However he father married her off early before her 11th grade. He meets Kamala after 15 years and she is now a pregnant mother of 3 born children. Senthil reaches the village and invites all including Kamala, who promises to come to the wedding.

Naresh (Allari Naresh) is a happy go lucky youth who enters the guest house of Gopal (Rajendra Prasad) which is possessed by evil spirits. He succeeds in impressing everyone as the fake Swamiji who has all the powers to deal with the evil spirits and collects huge remuneration for his job.
