Kadhal Mannan
Rudran (Girish Karnad), a very strict disciplinarian father of two daughters, hates the word ‘Love’. The very mention of this word makes him punish himself to unimaginable heights. He has disowned his elder daughter Menaka (Dhaarini) because she eloped with her lover. The strictness is doubled for the younger daughter Thilottama (Maanu), and a marriage alliance is fixed for her. She stoically accepts her father’s decision until she meets Shiva (Ajith Kumar), a local mechanic. Shiva lives with his friend Oyya (Vivek) in a mansion owned by Mess Viswanthan (M. S. Viswanathan), Shiva is always ready to accept dares. When Menaka dares him to go to Delhi to deliver a letter to Thilothama, Shiva ends up falling in love with Thilothama, but she is unable to reveal her love to Shiva and her father, as she fears the consequences. Are the lovers able to declare their love for each other and get united? Does Rudran take to it kindly?

Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja
The film starts in 1796, four years after the occupation of Malabar by the British East India Company and towards the end of the First Pazhassi Revolt (1793–1797). The revolt is led by Kerala Varma (Mammootty), the Raja of Pazassi Palace, of Kottayam house. The exploitation of the native Indian resources by the Company had culminated in popular revolts against its authority across the district. With the help of Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja’s uncle Kurumbranadu ruler Veeravarma (Thilakan), who is jealous of Pazhassi Raja for his success and influence, and Raja’s old companion Pazhayamveedan Chandhu (Suman), the Company act against Pazhassi Raja. This forces Pazhassi Raja to escape to the forests of Wayanad. The tribal force led by Neeli captures Assistant Collector Thomas Hervey Baber (Harry Key) and his fiancée Dora (Linda Arsenio) in the jungle, in spite of his commander’s objection. The Raja treats Thomas Baber and Dora as his guest and releases them.

The movie starts off with a robbery of 20 crores in Pondicherry IDID Bank where a college girl is killed by one of the thieves. The same night as the robbery, the manager of the bank (Manivannan) commits suicide. After this the story opens up in Chennai where Shiva Sundaram (Prasanna) a visible foolish person comes in search of David Raj(Manoj K. Jayan) where he saves a girl from being raped by one of David Raj’s men. Then he confronts David and says that he came to get the stuff a.k.a. heroin from him saying that Moorthy told him to get it for Rs.10000/= and wants to sell it to Rs.20000/=.But David Raj understanding that he is a fool sends in 1 crore worth heroin without the knowledge of Shiva saying that there will be a call to the phone he gives and tells him to deliver it to the address the caller says and to be caught by the police with the buyer.But Shiva goes the wrong way and goes to see his friend Vellai (Karunas) where Vellai has taken money from a lender for interest to give to Shiva.At his place they open up the package and they both think it is toothpaste powder.Where Shiva says that he must get a call. Then with the money lending party they go to said place and the two people of the money lending party goes to the buyer and get the money but they are caught by the police. Then next day Shiva calls the T.V station where Priya works where he reveals that he is the brother of Ram Mohan (Abbas) and that Moorthy must call him else he would die jumping from the top of a building. Then the police arrive at the building to find that Moorthy has called him.From there knowing that Priya is a friend of Mohan he gets into her house saying that he is Ram Mohan’s brother.But after certain events Ram Mohan returns to India and finds his brother burning in a flat. After this Sundhara Moorthy surfaces and spills the beans about Ram Mohan to the family of Priya that her father the manager of IDID Bank was murdered by Ram Mohan and his brother because he found out that his bank was robbed by the two brothers and the college girl who was killed in that incident is his sister. From here onwards a fight happens between Sundara Moorthy and Ram Mohan where Sundara Moorthy wins.

Kamali (Devayani) lives with her sister and brother-in-law in Ooty and is searching for a job. While in Madras, her purse is stolen and she fears she has lost her university certificates. Suriya (Ajith Kumar) who works in Jaipur finds the purse and sends it back to her, and a love develops through letters and phone calls. They agree to love each other without meeting, and Suriya eventually moves to Madras for work. However Kamali’s brother-in-law is pressuring her to marry a suitable man and Suriya’s boss keeps trying to seduce him. Eventually, Kamali and Suriya unite through a run of coincidences.

D-Day
Agent Wali Khan (Irrfan Khan), appointed by the Chief of Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Ashwini Rao (Nassar), has been on a mission for nine years to keep an eye out for the activities of India’s most wanted D-Company leader, Goldman (Rishi Kapoor) while working as a local barber as a cover. One day he notices Goldman talking about his son’s wedding cards to people in the mosque where he prays and comes to know that his son is getting married and Goldman is breaking his security protocol to attend that. The same is confirmed by an ISI operative who works part-time as Goldman’s bodyguard and is a neighbor and friend of Wali though he doesn’t know the truth about Wali’s connections to Indian Intelligence. Sensing a chance to nab Goldman alive, he informs Ashwini about the same who assembles a team quickly – Ex-Indian Army officer and mercenary, Rudra Pratap Singh (Arjun Rampal), RAW’s explosives expert, Zoya Rehman (Huma Qureshi), and Aslam, a Mumbai thief and a murderer who was given a chance at freedom by participating in this mission.

Divya is a free-spirited college student from a conservative family whose strict father, Chandramouli, works for the government. She learns that her parents are eagerly awaiting a marriage proposal for her. Unwilling to get married, and hoping that the groom’s family will reject her, she deliberately arrives home late, only to find Chandrakumar (the groom) and his family patiently waiting for her. She talks arrogantly to Chandrakumar to make him dislike her but, undeterred, he says that he likes her and agrees to the marriage. Divya initially refuses, but when her father has a heart attack her family begs her to accept the proposal to aid his recovery. Succumbing to the pressure, Divya marries Chandrakumar.

Aayudham Seivom
Saidai Sathya (Sundar C) has little respect for the law. He parks his car in the middle of the road and creates trouble for other vehicles. A traffic policeman Kandasamy (Vivek) ignores that violation because he is a close friend of Sathya. A social activist and lawyer Udhayamoorthy (Vijayakumar) drags both of them to court for obstructing traffic and causing a nuisance. The court sends them to the Madurai Gandhi Museum for help, where they meet a college student named Meenakshi (Anjali). After Sathya is discharged, he starts a job as a henchman. VBR (Manivannan), a villainous former minister, sends him to steal a confidential file containing vital evidence on the death of collector Leelavathi (Sukanya) at Udayamoorthy’s place. While he is stealing the file, Udayamoorthy is accidentally killed by Sathya. While dying, Udayamoorthy blesses Sathya by saying “Vazhga Valamudan” (Long Live). These last words haunt Sathya, and filled with remorse, he vows to carry on Udayamoorthy’s good work. He gathers evidence to discover Leelavathi’s murder. Sathya continues with his task of exposing VBR and adopts Gandhian principles of nonviolence and peaceful satyagraha. Ezhumalai (Napoleon) is a police inspector who vows to avenge the death of his brother Udhayamoorthy. He thinks Sathya killed him, although he later finds out that he did not. Sathya sits near the Gandhi statue and follows his examples of nonviolence, confident VBR will be arrested. VBR surrenders himself to the police and is arrested. The film ends with Sathya getting the justice.

Kaakkai Siraginile
Vellaisamy (Parthiban) is an orphan who was brought up by a Brahmin couple Sambasiva Iyer (K.Vishwanath) and Savithri (Lakshmi). Vellaisamy is very loyal and attached to the old couple. They also look after Vellaisamy as their own son. Gayatri (Preetha Vijayakumar) is the only daughter of Sambasiva Iyer and Savithri who returns from the city after completing her education. Vellaisamy is very much attached to Gayatri also and he looks after her as a kid. Kanmani (Manasa) is a local worker who develops affection over Vellaisamy impressed by his good nature. Suddenly, Savithri passes away due to cardiac arrest. Sambasiva Iyer is terribly shocked after his wife’s death and Vellaisamy takes care of Iyer. Meanwhile, the villagers talk ill about the relationship between Vellaisamy and Gayatri. At one instant, even Iyer gets angry hearing on the comments made by the public. Later, Iyer understands the pure bonding shared between Vellaisamy and Gayatri. He feels bad for doubting them and he also passes away suddenly. Gayatri is left alone following her parents’ death and Vellaisamy decides to take care of her until she gets married. Vellaisamy takes the responsibility of getting married Gayatri to the person she likes. He approaches Visu, a judge with a marriage proposal between Gayatri and Visu’s son. Visu is also interested in the proposal as he is surprised to see a person who takes all the effort to get someone married who is not related to him. But on the day of marriage, a few people come to the wedding hall and make some bad comments about Vellaisamy and Gayatri.
