The film opens with Pavalakkodi (Nayanthara) in the hospital and her father Vairakannu (Thambi Ramaiah) weeping for her misfortune. Later, the scene cuts to their futures.
They live in a small house. Vairakannu is a single hardworking father who brought her up and Pavalakkodi, his only daughter, takes care of him in his old age and doesn’t wish to marry. They lead a happy life. Nearby in an apartment, three thieves enter a house and rob all the jewels from the lady, harass and kill her. To investigate this case a Police officer (Harish Uthaman) arrives at the site and finds no clue about the men and finds a Rajasthani blanket in the house. Upon asking, the house owner and maids say nothing, and therefore the case leads to nothing.

Veera is a playboy who is rejected by every potential bride. Thendral accepts the marriage proposal with one condition. She demands that he impress her and asks him to take her on a trip in order to know each other better. She also suggests him to bring along another couple. Veera informs his friend Vasu, who tells him that he has a girlfriend, Kavya, who is Veera’s ex-girlfriend. When Kavya learns about Vasu’s friendship with Veera, she vows to get her hands on him during the trip. The couple travels to Thailand and rents a bungalow. Their host asks them not to open a particular room in that bungalow. One day, Veera and Vasu consume Viagra by accident, and when their girlfriends arrive earlier than expected, they run into the closed room. There they find a portrait of a woman and masturbate, thereby arousing the ghost. The ghost begins to haunt them. It reveals that it died in an accident as a virgin and will have sex with a virgin to rest her soul. Since both of them are virgins, they are unable to leave the house. The ghost tries several attempts to have sex with Vasu and Veera. They make fun of the ghost, but all their plans go in vain as she takes the form of a beautiful woman. Since the ladies know that the ghost is present, they call Jack and Rose, two conmen disguised as father and nun respectively. When Jack and Rose encounter the ghost, they are trapped since they are virgins. They come up with a plan to have a party in which they invite boys and girls, hoping one of them should be a virgin, but no one is. Veera thinks his playboy nature is responsible for all this fiasco and decides to have sex with the ghost. Veera almost seduces the ghost, but in the process puts a fire boundary around the ghost on the advice of Swamy, a priest. While Swamy controls the ghost, all the others have sex and lose their virginity, which results in the ghost getting killed.

Raghava (Lawrence Raghavendra) is a typical jobless youth who spends his days playing cricket with friends. He suffers from an irrational fear of ghosts and retreats to the safety of his home after sunset. His fear is so great he prefers to sleep with his mother (Kovai Sarala) and have her accompany him to the bathroom at night. This creates a major annoyance in the household, including Raghava’s brother (Sriman), sister-in-law (Devadarshini), and their children.
One day, Raghava and his friends are forced to abandon their usual cricket ground and find a new one; they unwittingly select an abandoned ground which is rumored to be haunted. A bizarre weather change scares them away. Raghava brings home his cricket stumps, which have been stained with blood from a buried corpse in the ground.
