Feeling let down by her husband Vijay on their wedding anniversary, Rekha drives to her mother’s home. Her car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. And, to make matters worse.

Kiran (Kreshna) is a TV telemarketer who gets into trouble after one of his products has an opposite effect than what was intended, on the son of a local thug who acted the commercial for him. That is also the moment when he discovers that his ‘real’ father left him a bungalow on an estate in a small town. He cons the son of the don, escapes with the money along with his girlfriend Smitha (Rupa Manjari), renovates the rundown mansion into a hotel with the help of a local caretaker Sharath (Karunakaran), who was under the care of Kiran’s father before and his bombshell sister Saranya (Oviya). Customers begin to come as soon the hotel was opened. A husband and wife, newly married couple with relativesand a body builder dies in the premise after staying one night. They burry the dead bodies on the backyard. All their guests die except the school kids and teacher who were sent by the locak police.Baffled, Kiran tries to uncover the mystery behind the deaths, only to find the dead people were previous owner of the bungalow,which leads him to believe that the house is haunted.

Six people unwittingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive. Joining forces with two of the original survivors, they soon discover they’ve all played the game before.

In 1947, Vinayak Rao tells his 14-year-old son Pandurang about the Goddess of Prosperity. Vinayak explains that the goddess gave birth to 160 million gods, but Hastar was her first and most beloved offspring. However, Hastar was greedy and gluttonous, and wanted all of the goddess’ gold and food for himself. The other gods attacked Hastar, but the goddess saved him on the condition that he could never be worshipped and would be forgotten by history. Vinayak goes on to explain that their people built a shrine that woke up Hastar. Although the village of Tumbbad became plagued with rain, Vinayak’s family was able to benefit from Hastar’s curse provided they were willing to risk venturing into the goddess’ womb in the earth where Hastar dwells.

Vishal (Riaz) and Dr.Vasudevan (Yog Japee) wake up one day to find out that they both are stuck inside a square room devoid of any furniture. The only other element in the room apart from the two of them is the dead body of a man lying in the middle of the room, blood soaked. Vishal and Dr.Vasudevan do not know each other. Soon, Vishal realises that there is a tape recorder near him, he finds a cassette in his pocket, which he plays. The cassette welcomes him to the SQUARE and tells him that his only way of escaping is by finding a clue that only the guy opposite him can see. Soon, Dr.Vasudevan plays the cassette from his pocket and the recording again welcomes him to the SQUARE and tells him that he has been doing a lot of good by saving lives as a Doctor and yet he has committed a grave mistake which he is now getting punished for. He is told that there is only 8 hours remaining for him to escape and his escape would only be by killing the one opposite him.

Renu (Tejaswi Madivada) is a rich girl, who stays back alone at her huge bungalow that she recently moved into instead of going to her cousins wedding. On the very first day itself, Renu starts getting some weird dreams about her house being haunted with evil people. A scared Renu calls over her boyfriend Vishal (Navdeep) to her house for help. Vishal and Renu enjoy themselves at the bungalow. Vishal also pretends to scare Renu a couple of times, but later he too realizes the house is haunted. Rest of the story is as to what happens to both of them, and will they survive this evil haunted house during their course of stay.
