The Mongolian Border, 1979: Massive fossils of unknown creatures are discovered in the mountains, and the research team assigned to excavate the remains includes acclaimed Professor Yang (Wang Qingxiang), Hu Bayi (Mark Chao), and Ping (Yao Chen), the professor’s beautiful daughter. When a freak explosion, lethal bat attack, and fall to the mountain’s floor leaves only a handful of survivors, the small remaining band uncovers a mythic Cyclopean Temple – and an Interdimensional Portal that looses a pack of ravenous Hell-Beasts, leaving only Hu alive. New York City, Present Day: Now living a quiet but tormented life as a librarian, Hu studies demonology manuscripts to find answers for that fateful day. Little does he know that Professor Yang has just been found wandering the mountains thousands of miles from where he supposedly died; a young woman with amnesia was just discovered in a recently-uncovered tomb; and a Northern Chinese mining town has just been ravaged by giant, unknown creatures…

Mouna Guru
College goer Karunakaran (Arulnidhi) finds it difficult to adjust with the society that he lives. As a result, he is unable to control his anger and ends up with trouble. His unpredictable behavior becomes a constant worry for his mother (Sujatha Sivakumar) and brother. A series of incidents force him to leave his hometown Madurai and end up in Chennai. Despite scoring high marks in school, he joins a local arts college in the city and stays in a hostel, where trouble begins. Meanwhile, while traveling from Bangalore to Chennai, Assistant Commissioner Marimuthu (John Vijay), Inspector Rajendran (Madhusudhan Rao), Sub-Inspector Selvam (Balakrishnan), and Sgt/Head Constable Perumalsamy (Krishnamurthy) witness a car accident. When they are about to take the victim (son of a Bangalore-based business tycoon) to a nearby hospital, they come across a huge stash of cash. The policemen kill the half-dead victim and flee to Chennai with the money. The sincere police officer Palaniammal (Uma Riyaz Khan) takes up this case. A cluster of lies, ego clash at the hostel, and family’s ignorance brings Karunakaran into this crime plot. The rest is a racy rollercoaster ride that forms the climax.

Thagararu
The protagonist and his 3 friends are a gang of notorious robbers who make merry in Madurai. Their way of life earns them a handful of formidable rivals. An intense depiction of friendship and love marred by rivalry and vengeance ensues.

Maathiyosi
The voice of director Sasikumar to introduce the four mischievous guys Pandi, Mangaa, Kona, Maari, in his typical Madurai lingo who think they rule the ‘Kadavur’ village.
These four friends are united, very close and live for each other. They always think out-of-the box. They turn out to be vagabonds and go to the extent of even killing the village President’s son. After few similar delinquent experiences they are forced to leave the village and end up coming to Chennai.

Veerappu
The story revolves around an ego clash between father and son. Puli (Sundar C) is a local rowdy and the son of a math teacher Vedhukannu (Prakash Raj). Vedhukannu hates his son for being a rowdy and not being proficient in math. As part of a flashback, it is shown that young Puli was very good in physics, but his father, being a math teacher, wanted him to excel in math, which he was unable to do. As a result of repeated physical and mental abuse, Puli takes the wrong route to grow up. In the meantime, rival gangs and police try to kill him, but he is accidentally saved by his half-sister, a daughter from an affair his father had. Puli helps his half-sister in return for her unexpected help and vouches for her safety. The rival gangs kill her and put the blame on his father. How Puli brings the truth to light and unites with his family completes the rest of the movie.

Richie
The local folks of Manapad town are getting ready to celebrate their biggest festival, Christmas and it is their annual tradition to participate in the procession, which is led by the father of the village’s oldest church and seek blessings from him. During the course of the celebration, one of the villagers accidentally discovers an old treasure, which opens a path of destruction and would affect lives of the villagers. As the events unfold following the discovery of the treasure, the stories of four individuals – Richie, a local thug, Selva, a boat mechanic who is struggling to recover from the loss of his friend, and Megha, a local journalist gets intertwined in this multiple narrative.

Red Eagle
Year 2016, Bangkok is a rotten capital infested with chaos and criminals. Widespread corruption by politicians has dipped the moral compass to a new low, and the government’s hasty plan to construct a nuclear power plant has spread fears among villagers and enivironmental activists. Every time he kills, he leaves a name card which says: The Red Eagle. But Red Eagle is a hunter who’s also being hunted. An assassin, called Black Devil, has been sent by a crime lord to kill him. As his past returns to haunt him, the tortured hero is facing a conflict that will decide not just his own destiny, but the destiny of his entire nation.

Thirumalai (Nasser) owns a provision store in a village and lives with his family comprising his wife (Saranya Ponvannan), brother-in-law Karupatti Ayyakannu (Vadivelu), son Krishnan (Bharath) and a daughter. Thirumalai is very strict, short tempered and is referred as “Emden” by his relatives. Krishnan studies poultry science in a college and also assists his father in managing the store. Krishnan worries about his father’s rude behaviour towards him.
Divya (Gajala) is Krishnan’s classmate and she is also the daughter of the auditor who manages Thirumalai’s accounts. Divya proposes to Krishnan, who does not reciprocate as he loves his maternal uncle’s (Shanmugarajan) daughter, Janani (Gopika). But enmity prevails between Thirumalai and his in laws’ family. Krishnan lives with the hope that the two families will unite someday paving the way for his wedding.
