Paramasivan
Subramaniyam Siva (Ajith Kumar) is in jail, awaiting the death sentence for killing corrupt and evil members of the police force who had killed his father SI Ganapathy (Rajesh) and sister. SP of Police Nethiadi Nandakumar (Prakash Raj) is an honest, fearless and upright police officer who has been given the mission to flush out the terrorist outfit behind the Coimbatore blasts. He decides to employ unconventional methods to fulfill his mission and engages Siva to assist him, renaming him Paramasivan and giving him a single-point agenda – trace out and erase the people responsible for the Coimbatore blasts. Unaware to Paramasivan, Nandakumar intends on killing him after the mission is completed.

Singam Puli
The film has a deceptively casual beginning: a middle-class family consisting of parents (Kuyili and Ponvannan), a daughter and twin sons—Shiva (Jiiva), who works in a fish-market and Ashok Kumar (Jiiva, again), who is a lawyer. Shiva is a typical hero who attacks baddies with his bare fists; a rugged man who’ll brook no injustice. Devout Ashok’s goodness is a facade that hides his evil womanizing nature. Both have romantic interests; Shweta (Divya Spandana) is Shiva’s long-time sweetheart. Ashok’s life is one long, lustful journey as he charms every woman he meets into his bed. This is where the tale picks up. Shiva can do nothing right as far as his parents are concerned; they trust the Ashok and always misunderstand Shiva’s righteous anger and his every attempt to show up his Machiavellian twin fails. Ashok, on the other hand, is pally with the local goons and uses his brains to assist them in their nefarious activities. Matters come to a head when Ashok lures a girl called Gayatri (Honey Rose) with false pretences, ends up in having sex with her and eventually causing her to suicide when he learns that she becomes pregnant. Shiva lodges a complaint on Ashok but this fails as he couldn’t prove that whether it was him or Ashok who did the crime due to their faces. Shiva comes to know that a security man who saw Ashok pushing Gayatri from the roof. He tells the security man to meet him in the evening. But he is killed by Ashok as the security man saw him in the evening and thought him as Shiva. Shiva comes to know this thus begins a cat-and-mouse game between the siblings. This causes anger to the younger one and he tries to kill his elder brother. He employs a gang to kill his elder brother. Eventually the elder brother knows this plot and confronts him. During the fight the younger brother get killed by his own man. The elder brother walks with his father who for the first time accepts him.

Aattanayagan
Lingam (Sakthi), the younger son of Nasser, leads life in his own way. He along with his set of friends (which includes Santhanam and ‘Lollu Sabha’ Jeeva) goes around town enjoying. But Lingam’s father is against his ways. He often compares him with his elder brother Chandran (Adhitya Menon), who runs a software firm in Hyderabad and is caring towards the family. Lingam falls in love with Radhika (Ramya Nambeesan) and he decides to make her sister Indira (Meera Vasudevan) enter wedlock with his brother. After their marriage, Chandran takes Indira to Hyderabad. But she comes across a startling truth that Chandran is none but a dreaded don in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh and that had hid this truth to his family. The onus now falls on Lingam to set things right. He promises Indira and Radhika that he would bring his brother back to right ways. But a hindrance to his mission is Boppala Ram Babu (Ravi Kale), who has a score to settle with Chandran. Does Lingam succeeds in his mission or not forms the climax.

Kandha Kadamba Kathir Vela
Parvathi (Latha) is a rich and arrogant woman who leads her life with her three sons – Kandha (Prabhu), Kadamba (S.Ve. Sekar) and Kathirvela (Vivek). The sons are very obedient towards their mother and they run a restaurant in Chennai. Parvathi also had a daughter (Bhuvaneshwari) who married Vadivelan (Vadivelu), a barber following which Parvathi disowns her daughter. Vadivelan decides to teach a lesson for Parvathi. He understands that Parvathi’s sons are in love with girls from economically backward community and sets a plan to get them married against Parvathi’s wishes. Kandha is married to Rubini (Roja), Kadamba to Ragini (Kovai Sarala) and Kathir to Rohini (Nirosha).

En Swasa Katre
A seemingly down-to-earth guy Arun (Arvind Swamy) leads a life of a computer hacker by day and thief by night. When he meets Madhu (Isha Koppikar) whom he fancies, he wishes to turn over a new leaf. But Arun’s rogue brother, who has been blackmailing him since young to do his dirty deeds, does not think likewise. A deep love-hate relationship between them which unfolded during their childhood days traps Arun into a life of crime. How Arun chooses between his family and love forms the crux of the story.

Death Proof
Two separate sets of voluptuous women are stalked at different times by a scarred stuntman who uses his “death proof” cars to execute his murderous plans.

Irudhi Suttru
An under-fire boxing coach, Prabhu is transferred from Hisar in Haryana to Chennai as his bosses at the Boxing Council do not like his disrespectful rule-breaking unconventional ways. In Chennai, he chances upon the raw fighting talent of Madhi, the sibling of aspiring boxer Lakshmi. He decides to put all his effort to tame Madhie and get her to shine but he is repeatedly put off by her playfulness & distrust.
