Intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock’s ancestor.

A handicapped man Krishna (Suriya) arrives at Mumbai from Kanyakumari at a train station after boarding a train from there. He, along with a taxi driver Raja (Soori), travel around Mumbai to look for his elder brother, Raju. Raja tries to get to know about Krishna but is unable to get any details about him from him. Krishna rents a hotel room, takes a shower, and changes his clothes. He gets Raja to take him to a club, where Krishna then tries to meet an old associate of Raju named Amar, who is a very powerful gangster through his henchmen, but fails. He then meets a close friend of Raju named Rajiv (Asif Basra), who overheard his conversation with Amar’s henchmen. Rajiv tells Krishna that Raju is Raju Bhai (Suriya), a powerful and feared gangster. He then tells things to Krishna about Raju, until he passes out from being drunk.

Vetriselvan (Sathyaraj) is an established and old-fashioned music director who is loved and respected for his works and is termed as the greatest musician of our times. A. K. Shiva (S. J. Surya), who works as an assistant under Vetriselvan, gets an opportunity to compose music for a small-time film. Due to the freshness and modernity his music possesses, he becomes the most sought after musician and overtakes Vetriselvan. Shiva becomes the number one musician and builds his own studio. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Jenny (Sulagna Panigrahi) and marries her. When it seems everything he touches turns to gold, Vetriselvan displays his psychopathic form. To get his glory back, Vetriselvan does whatever it takes to label Shiva unfit to compose music. Can Shiva bounce back despite his new and unwanted status forms the rest of the story.

A young agriculturist Velu (Kamal Hassan) goes to extremes to attain revenge against his devious landlord and her family. He is an upright young man, but when his family gets cheated out of money, he decides it’s time to take a stand. Donning various disguises, he-with help from his sister Valli (Thulasi)-sets out seeking justice against the landlord and her confrontational daughter Geetha (Ambika) and son Pazhani (Raveendran).

Satyam begins with Sathyam (Vishal), an assistant police commissioner rescuing a hooligan from encounter thirsty cops, only to arrest him later. He reminds his fellow cops that a cop’s duty is to kill crime not criminals. Sathyam meets his first challenge in tracking a mysterious killer of three ministers. In the process, he finds the culprit Manickvel (Upendra), only to receive a rude shock to know his identity.
For, the murderer is none other than a former police officer, who inspired Sathyam to take the cop job. Revealing the reason behind his change of mind, the ex-cop says that he is on a killing spree as he failed to set right things in khakhi uniform.

Dhinakar (Jai Akash), hailing from a middle-class family, and Nancy (Madhumitha), a software engineer and sole breadwinner for her family, are neighbors who are in love with each other. However, their dreams of getting married are shattered when their self-centered parents decide on proposals of their own choice. Notwithstanding the overbearing parental pressures, Nancy marries Victor (Prakash Raj), a multimillionaire businessman, while Dhinakar marries his cousin – but not before the lead pair enters into a sly pact. After a sequence of events, Nancy successfully convinces Victor about her unreserved enthusiasm for her past love, gets her divorce, and takes the first step towards making a fresh start, but events overtake her in an unexpected final act.

Aravindan (Vijay), Chandru (Suriya), and Krishnamurthy (Ramesh Khanna) value friendship over everything else, even family. For this reason, Chandru resists the advances of Aravindan’s sister Amutha (Vijayalakshmi). When the trio takes up a painter’s job at a mansion, Aravindan falls in love with Padmini (Devayani), who lives there. Padmini’s jealous cousin Abhirami (Abhinayashree) makes him believe that his overtures are reciprocated. When the truth is revealed and Padmini rejects him, Chandru stands up for his friend and speaks ill of her. This makes her swear to separate the friends.[2] After the marriage, Aravindan realises the hand of Abhirami behind all the mishaps, and Padmini realises that Chandru is innocent. Chandru and Amutha’s marriage is arranged. Gautham (Sriman) is Aravindan’s cousin who is in love with Amutha and wants to separate the pair. He makes Chandru believe that Padmini is trying to kill Amutha. Padmini is angry with Chandru. Aravindan tells the truth that in their young ages, he unknowingly killed Chandru’s deaf and mute brother. Gautham records this and makes Chandru hear it. Chandru and Aravindan fight and go by their ways. Aravindan tries to convince Chandru but falls from the top of a mountain. Chandru believes that Aravindan is dead, but after five years, he finds out that Aravindan is not dead but has ended up in a coma. Gautham is now torturing his family a lot. When he comes to know that Chandru has come back, he starts to beat him up. After hearing Chandru’s cry of pain, Aravindan wakes up from his coma. He beats up Gautham, and everyone rejoins and lives happily.
