Kakki Sattai
Kaakki Sattai has Murali (Kamal Haasan), a young man who trains very hard to become a police officer. Uma (Ambika) is his neighbour and they fall in love with each other while Uma supports Murali to achieve his goal but he is rejected after the physical test due to not having influence or money.
Angered by the rejection, Murali turns into a local rowdy. He causes trouble in his district and comes to the attention of a notorious smuggler and murderer, Vicky (Sathyaraj) and his partner Anand (Rajeev). After initial conflict between the two, Vicky recruits rowdy Murali into his gang. Murali becomes his most trusted member. He grows intimate with a girl, Anita (Madhavi), who is looking for personal revenge against Anand.

The Outlaws
Based on real events that occurred in 2007 dubbed the “Heuksapa Incident”. The story follows a turf war that grows between a local gang that runs Garibong-dong in Guro District, Seoul and the Heuksapa gang from Yanbian, China; the police are called in to attempt to bring peace to the neighborhood.

Paambhu Sattai
Dakshna Murthy is a young man who keeps losing his jobs frequently because of his moral ethics. Malar, his sister-in-law is a confident, young, beautiful woman who works in a jewelry shop. Malar lost her husband (Dakshna’s brother) within a month of their marriage. For reasons unknown, her husband is found dead on the railway tracks nearby their hamlet. Despite being a young widow, both Malar and Dakshna live under the same roof because Malar has married his brother opposing her family. Dakshna tries to convince his sister-in-law to remarry, but she keeps refusing.

Dum Dum Dum
Ganga (Jyothika) lives in a village and secures state second rank in XII board exams. Although she wishes to pursue engineering, her father Veluthambi (Murali) plans to get her married to Adhithya aka Adhi (Madhavan) who also hails from the same village. Adhi is a fun loving person who has just completed his law degree and prefers to enjoy his bachelor life and is not interested in marriage.
Adhi comes to the village and meets Ganga trying to convey his feelings. To his surprise, Ganga also is not interested in marriage as she wants to study engineering. Both of them decide to somehow stop the wedding by creating some problem before the wedding but all their effors go in vain as both the families get even closer following their plans.

Spyder
Shiva (Mahesh Babu), an officer in the Intelligence Bureau office, spies on people’s calls and messages to help them if needed. He developed a software to listen to the needing ones by tracking their phones. On the night of 16 March, he listens to Charlie/Shalini (Rakul Preet Singh) talking about her wish on getting 98% in her exams from 96% to get a USA scholarship with her friend. In order to do that, she decides to get concentration by dating with a guy. Shiva follows her, and she starts to fall in love, but he does not.
On the night of 28 April, he listens in on a young girl asking her friend for help as she is alone in her house and scared because there is no electricity in her house whilst everyone else on her street has it. Shiva sends his friend, new police constable Renuka (Himaja), to help the girl. However the next day, a news channel declares that the two women had been killed. They were undressed, chopped into different pieces, and were mixed together. Shiva goes to the crime scene and finds it has been a brutal murder. He resigned from his job stating, “I didn’t help them and I should’ve never sent out Renuka,” but his father (Jayaprakash) encourages him to find the murderer. To find out who murdered them, he sets out to ‘spy’ the girl’s chats and whereabouts.

Gentleman Sathya (LIE)
Sathyam is hired by the National Investigation Agency to help catch Padmanabham, the master of disguise, by following a suit which he is assumed to have an obsession with.

Perumal
The movie begins in a hospital where a mafia is involved in adulterating drugs. Unfortunately, a junior doctor Alamu (Meenakshi) manages to stumble upon their antisocial act. To safeguard themselves, the gang sets out to wipe out Alamu. She meets Perumal (Sundar C), a petty thief who does the job of recovering loans for an agency. He eventually vows to protect Alamu from her distress by putting an end to the gang and their atrocities.

Run Baby Run
Venu (Mohanlal) is a high-profile news cameraman working in Reuters. He graduated from a premier film institute but preferred to shoot news rather than the manipulated visuals for movies. He is mostly based in Delhi but has come to Kochi to appear for a case in which he is involved. He is assigned to cover a case involving a local politician where he gets to meet Renuka (Amala Paul). Renuka is the executive editor of Bharath Vision and Venu and Renuka have a story to tell of their own. A flashback tells the story about how two lovers turned into foes.
