Chembaruthi
The film is a story about the love of two teenagers of different classes – Raja (Prashanth), who is settled in London, the grandson of a rich businesswoman (Bhanumathi), comes to the fisherman village in India to see his grandmother. Chembaruthi (Roja), sister of a poor fisherman Pandy (Radha Ravi), who works in Bhanumathi’s house. The couple first see each other during Raja’s birthday party and it is love at first sight for Raja. They meet often and their love grows leaps and bounds. The grandmother wants Raja to marry the daughter (Pinky – debutant Adeen Khan), of a rich seafood exporter Murugan (Nasser). At the party they announce their interest of Raja with Pinky. Raaj realises that his relationship with the daughter of a poor fisherman is not taken kindly by his eccentric grandmother and when she comes to know of Raja’s love with Chembaruthi, she accuses Pandy, of using his sister’s beauty and charm to trap Raja for his money. She even offers Pandy cash to have Chembaruthi stop seeing Raja. Pandy feels highly humiliated by this accusation and reciprocates by insulting Bhanumathi. Their talk enters a deadlock and spells doom for Raja and Chembaruthi’s tender love. Bhanumathi engages Raja to the daughter of Murugan in order to establish business ties with her rich father. Murugan also engages his sister to another fisherman Kumar (Mansoor Ali Khan), but Raja & Chembaruthi run away from home. Bhanumathi announces a reward for anyone who can help find her grandson. Murugan decides that he wants the money. He and his goons find the lovers, kidnap and lock them up in a boat. Raja fights his life out for Chembaruthi and saves her from being drowned in the sea. Bhanumathi realizes that their love is very strong and doesn’t want to stand in the way of their happiness. She and Pandy accept their love and give their blessings to the union.

Vathikuchi
Sakthi (Dileepan) is a happy, do-good share auto driver, who lives with his picture perfect family ( Saranya & Raja and a little sister). He is head-over- heels in love with his neighbor Leena (Anjali), a bubbly mischievous girl. Now three separate gangs are out to kill Sakthi, due to his do-good nature which gets him into trouble. The three gangs baying for his blood are a hired killer Sampath who has personal animosity, Jayaprakash a jeweler who has a score to settle with him and his neighbor Jagan who finds him a hindrance in his nefarious activities. How our hero romances and wins over his girl and single-handedly takes down his detractors forms the rest of the story.

Kadhalna Summa Illai
Abhiram or Abhi, (Sharwanand) as called by his friends and family, is the son of a multi-millionaire called GK (Nassar). He is born and brought up among currency and for him life is just a game and he is accustomed to lavish lifestyle. He dates several girls and one day he comes across Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee), a young, charming doctor. Abhi challenges his friends that he would make her fall in love within few days. Abhi invites Janaki for coffee after a dance programme and proposes to her.
Janaki, being an orphan, is very kind towards the poor people and is service-minded. She mingles with poor people and provides succour to them. But, being a rich boy, Abhi hates those people. However, Janaki’s free-spirited nature takes him very near to her and he develops an intimate friendship. At the same time, Janaki keeps maintaining some distance and does not express her love. Though she likes him, she cannot love him as he is not sensitive to the people and things around him.

Majaa
Govindan (Manivannan) is a thief who has two children. Aadhi (Pasupathy) and Mathi (‘Chiyaan’ Vikram). Years go by and the two, Aadhi and Madhi, decide to stop stealing and mend their ways and lead a hardworking life along with their father. They migrate to neighboring village and meet a retired agricultural officer, Chidambaram (Vijaya Kumar) who is in deep debts and is under pressure from the village’s landlord, Kalingarayar (Murali) to clear his debts. In efforts to help Chidambaran, Mathi confronts Seetha Lakshmi (Asin), Kalingarayar’s daughter, who comes to collect the money Chidambaram owes her father. Seetha Lakshmi starts to acquire a liking for Mathi but keeps it hidden due to her father’s atrocious temper. In an attempt to teach Kalingarayar a lesson, Mathi forcibly ties the mangalsutram around Seetha’s neck. Kalingarayar, realizing his daughter’s love for Mathi, comes down to arrange a grand re-marriage between the two. But things go awry when Manicka Vel (Biju Menon), Seetha Lakshmi’s maternal uncle comes to town in an effort to stop the wedding between the two as he has plans of marrying her and wiping her family fortune.

4 Students
Vivek (Bharath), Aravind (Arun), Eshwar (Arjun Bose) and Shafeek (Padma Kumar) are four angry engineering students who cannot stand the corruption in society. They take the law into their own hands and they form the secretive clique called 4 The People (their dress code is black and everything about them is black) that takes out corrupt officials. They have a website where the public can lodge their complaints. Soon the police are on their track. A young cop (Narain) is in hot pursuit of the gang. In a racy climax the foursome attempt to kill the Minister but fail. Seeing the brutality of the police the students come to the support of the foursome. One of the students kills the minister and is joined by three more students. They escape due to the support of students. The revolution continues.

Vaanmathi
Krishna (Ajith) belongs to a middle-class family, where his father is a womanizer and brought up Krishna as a good for nothing fellow. Krishna is also a youngster who likes to waste time his time, by hanging out with his friends and roaming behind girls. Vaanmathi (Swathi) is the daughter of a rich business woman who is very arrogant and does anything for money. For example, she even abandoned her husband when Vaanmathi was a baby for money. Vaanmathi is a girl who grew up to be a bully, by bringing a bunch of friends in her vehicle and making fun of every guy they come across. Krishna and Vaanmathi play tricks on each other and fight after they met but eventually fall in love, but Vaanmathi’s mother is not happy with that. She dislikes Krishna as sees him as her enemy number 1.
